Iain Thomson was clearly a very progressive/ motivated guy .....having learnt a lot from AB and the future of Hydrogen and fuel cells ...probaly felt the need to develop a niche for himself ....good luck to him .....next .
Nicely put Seg. Best post this year.
How can any investor use judgement here when the information coming out of the company via the CEO is misleading. You have to be able to base your judgement on reliable communications being disseminated by the company. That is not the case with AFC. Simple really and that's what myself and others are unhappy about. It doesn't seem unreasonable, given AFC's litany of past failures, to feel this way. I don't see how any logical thinking person could argue with that position. Unless of course they have an ulterior motive!
Klunk, they protest too much to be invested mate.
Hi Cheekboy 2.....Thanks .....You are right .....but this dude has upset this board ....why should they blame AB and some well respected posters for his / her own inadequacy ..... lets hope news from AFC comes soon to repel this garbadge.
I think they probably did annoy them by nicking a key member of staff. Iain Thomson leaving - he felt he could do better on his own. Had he been at a company he thought was going to be a world beater, would he have stayed, or do you think he saw through Adam bonds bu ll sh t?
Klunk you might be ok with losing money, I know a lot of investors on here will rightly have been frustrated by the way this company is being managed. It’s ok to be an investor that’s not happy, selling is not always the answer and what one wants to do. I certainly don’t want to sell, but I don’t want incompetence to choke the opportunity out of this company.
Why don’t they have anyone in marketing? Have the sales people even covered their own wages for the past few years?
I can afford to play at these stakes my problem is I’m greedy and I want to make a big return, seemingly unlike you.
Alt - you say you’re not a ramper, you’re not as obvious as haggis but you most certainly are a con man working for Adam bond.
Klunk, scroll past the posts and don’t bite :)
We all know what they are trying to do.
Its quite simple Bondy 123 .....if you cannot afford to play at these stakes ....go look for something else ..... :)
Bondy123
Sounds like you have totally mismanaged your AFC account .....that is your problem..... not the fault AB .....thats your poor interpretation of events ....at that time we were an R&D company and it was a punt .....This is AIM market remember ...... :)
I have to say Bondi, Rolec would have been well out of their depth with an AFC fuel cell charger. The main questions are why AFC made noise about it in the first place and did they cheese them off by nicking a staff member?
Financials on the ExE unit were suppressed by Bond and I’m sure the reason was it was a unit supplied at cost. So not really a sale but a showcase demonstrator and data collection exercise in my view. No problems with that but the financials this year need to reflect they’ve had it cheap on year one while racking in the advertising revenue from the series.
Klunk, the lowest I ever bought was 8p, I didnt buy at those prices, because It was hairy at that time and I was holding on to a paer loss and didnt want to throw good money after bad. Hindsight is a great thing. Im not sure why youre being smug about it.
Klunk, that's not actually true. I have made money out of AFC, having had an average of about 22p. I have been in this company a very long time, but like I said I never really posted. I've never really sold any stock (bar one or two occasions), and I have what I would think is an above average amount. Im in much less a profit position than I had been when it peaked last year, that is true. My fear is this going back down to 20p thus wiping out all of the profits I've been sitting on. I'm frustrated at the false dawns. I want solid progress achieved and reported.
Adam Bond's stooges on this board have riled me up calling me a con man which is why I have been reacting today, but I am as genuine an investor as they come.
Bondy123
You claim to have been an AFC investor for a long time ......why did you not fill your boots when we were at 3-4-5p ...that would have made you happy ?.....dont criticise AB ......criticise yourself ....:}
How am I a Con Man? I'm a disgruntled shareholder is what I am.
It suits you and Haggis, no doubt Adam Bond's cronies, to paint me and others as con men. So, so far, 8 people have ticked up my posts who have been called Con Men.
So, of all the stocks on the LSE, you think AFC has attracted 9 con men, just to upset you and Haggis? Get Real man.
I'll say, I know you mean well, but calling people con men, you are going to get strong reactions and wind people up, who will keep coming at you with the FACTS. Why can you never have a reasonable debate? It's because you and haggis are the CON MEN.
Bondy123
I very rarely get involved with arguments on this board ......but i feel the need to say that you have obviously missed the boat ....and not made a penny out of AFC ....your lose .... :)
The only Con Men here are you Alt-Muddle and Haggis McHaggis. Clearly Adam Bond's stooges.
'27, you finally have somehting with this one'
You mean you ignored the failed deliveries, you've not acknowleged that nobody in the entire world is using an AFC charger today. After all these years. It doesnt look like anyone will use an AFC charger for EV (excluding perhaps ExE) in 2022 either does it?
Answer that - outside of Extreme E - who will be selling / using AFC chargers for EV in 2022?
Second question - in 2023, who will be using AFC's fuel cell for EV sharing?
The answer for this year is..... NO ONE.
The answer for next year is ................Only Adam Bond, your Messiah knows.
Alt Muddle / Bumble B - We know you are in Love with this stock and I really don't care about your rose tinted opinion.
You can call these spurious all you want, taken together, it spells massive failure. This man could quite possible squander the £60m we have in the bank, and I think we need someone better in charge of it. Simple.
There you go with the 'con men' jibe as well Alt.
You've nit picked at what, 3 or 4 of my very valid points, but when taken together wit the rest of that huge list does it not show the remarkable houdini like qualities of Adam Bond? My responses in line;
"As for 30, only one system sold. So what? That one system, though to a project ai personally dislike, was a sale, it is bringing the company a lot of exposure and demonstrating the product in a range of locations. So other than volume, a poor complaint." They have had a sales team in for how long??? Realistic scaled sales are now over a year away. AGAIN! Do you enjoy being played by AB?
29, the Ex E system does count, you only say it does not to make it fit your threadbare case. IT DOES NOT COUNT - IT WOULD HAVE COST US MORE THAN £100K IN EXPENSES RUNNING AROUND AFTER THAT UNIT MAKING SURE IT WORKS. IT WAS A MARKETING PUSH.
28. Rolec? They found someone better in ABB, with whom they have established a very useful partnership in the ev charging arena. SOMEONE BETTER THAN ONE OF THE LARGEST EV CHARGING COMPANIES IN THE UK? IM SORRY THAT DOESNT WASH WITH ME.
"27. Covestro. You finally have something in this one, but Bond did not design the tech. He took charge of the company when the prototype was about to be built. It had issues which took a long time to resolve. No surprise there, you have a case on the technology side, but I don’t blame Bond for that." WHAT DO YOU MEAN? BOND KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE WAS SWINGING HIS W I LL Y AROUND AFTER FORCING IAN WILLIAMSON TO LEAVE - IW WAS A LOVELY BLOKE BY THE WAY. HE HAS ACHIEVED NOTHING.
So three more bogus criticisms for someone trying to profit from talking down the stock price. - AS IVE JUST PROVEN, NOT REALLY.
Way above conmen and spives .....they are just the workers .
Unless you are smart you will get your pockets picked .....DYOR.
This is all about transfer of wealth....full stop.
Tick this post up if you've been called a Con Man, shorter or something else derogatory by Haggis McHaggis and you are not.
You are acting like a playground bully Haggis, your behaviour is despicable.
