Mr Burns So why wait to rally troupes for your no vote cause until the door is shut. You make no sense at all and even the FOAK is agreeing with that.
A yes vote is the only option. As for the assets here, I feel the same way about them as ever. disgusted at the Gov for not issuing a licence prior to the circular and probably not before the vote as they are asking shareholders to conditionally vote despite financing 10's of millions, close to $100 million to discover and appraise their gas for them at no risk to themselves.
Roll on the 4th Jan and some flow test results on KN-1, hopefuly before then.
Mr Burns a no vote will really ‘kill’ aminex. The only way Foward as one have suggested is to proceed with this. It’s not the greatest deal..but it gives us the opportunity to move 1 giant step Foward!
Is this Mr Burns from the simpsons?
No point in shaking cages killer the Bod have already said what the fall back position would be in the circular.
I guess they would be shocked like most of us if the vote was no but they have laid out the situation clear enough
wouldn't it be interesting if the bod bought more shares in the interim? could they?
Who's buying a trinket?
I doubt very much that the first offer has been recommended but I have know way of knowing that other than to trust the board to negotiate but then again Mr Burns you have no way of knowing that the Bod have not haggled on the deal.
Mr Burns Pete may lay on the negativity quite thickly at times but stupid he is not. He knows as well as the rest of us that Yes is the only vote to be made here
Let's hope so but one dissenter isn't really going to scratch the % required. All sides are on the Yes vote it seems here.
" All sides are on the Yes vote it seems here."
I absolutely agree Drewky but I am reminded of that famous quote from Morecambe and Wise with Andre Previn .
"We may all being on the same "Yes vote" BUT not necessarily for all the same reasons..."
:0)
Why buy now, if I read the part in the circular correctly there are I think it was 49 million share options available to some of the directors until mid May next year at 1.34p. A great price if everything being talked about is ratified......
Yes Pete we all on the same side for once but there really is no need for us all to continually go over our difference. We each and everyone of us know what they are :0))
1.34p might start looking expensive the way things are going.
Come on Tarry there are only a few green shoots at present but are there no positives at present.?Aminex has been on the ropes but in view of present news a word of encouragement does have mileage. Each to their own on views but you are really giving a large negative vibe. Just my view as I see it and of course you are entitled to your view. The BOD has let us down, no question but with the SP so low and some good news for a change we need to look with a little positivity. As you say geology! I respect the good knowledge you have Tarry
Why we have already had some good news this week, have people forgotten already? KN-1 stage -1 remediation is complete and the well is currently being flow tested.
The SOLO technical manager that has drilled a lot of the wells in Tanzania believes that if the perforation is completed as well that it is likely to be successful. The well was grossing $1.5 million a month at 50% capacity, if this can reached then it's a life line to the JV never mind if they get it to 30 million scuffs as previously tested and $3 million per month.
Soon be Christmas ;)
Cperkin, if it was that simple wouldn’t they have sorted it many months ago? Still a bit vague for me and that saying something, I love a punt in the dark
As I said the other day if we were to strike oil some people on here would be screaming it's the wrong colour
Let's strike oil first and then we can argue about the colour.
And you will do won't you Tarry
I will if the RNS says "there have been oils shows at the surface" with no other information. Remediation of Kiliwani requires some form of intervention: re-perforation or a compressor otherwise we're just back where we started and without resolving the dispute with TPDC we won't even be paid for any gas that is produced. Ridiculous is taken so long to get to this point.
As things stand currently but come mid May next year could be a great price.
I know you will Tarry because you are simply here to make mischief. I believe perforation would be a good choice but stop talking negative as if you know the facts. The only fact is you haven't got a scooby doo and until we get the results none of us do. I notice vikingshrimper who's been here just a fews days has sussed you out immediately. Writing your own book along with others here
Blimey, have we had another RNS since Monday in connection with KN1 remediation?!
Now all of a sudden we have successfully completed Stage 1 of the KN1 remediation programme and are now in the process of Flow Testing. I must have missed it.
What in fact did that RNS on Monday actually say?
"Aminex is pleased to announce that it has successfully carried out remediation work on the sub surface safety valve of its Kiliwani North-1 well and gathered associated pressure and fluid data. During this process, gas was observed at surface. The well is undergoing further testing and analysis."
No specific mention of "Flow Testing" and nothing about a "Stage 1" remediation plan.
Maybe Mr Perkins has got some inside information? Or maybe he just had a vivid dream about RNS's last night.
"Confirmation bias" ?
But yes he is right about Christmas. It will soon be here and the EGM, thankfully; two dates that even the TPDC cannot put off!! Pity about the License Extension though.
Only joking, after all, it is Christmas ! ;0)
Haha Crusty the Grinch strikes again ;0)
Well what else do you think they are testing, the colour of the condensate or maybe if the gas is Santa red and comes with a beard?
I could guess CP, as you have, but actually I would prefer to make no assumptions at all. Events of recent months would go to prove that anyone jumping to conclusions would have been best advised not to....
