Simply recovering from Christmas excess, overindulgence and overconsumption Crusty.
Same every year I think.
Naysayers ? Really ?
Do we have a gas sales price, development licence, CPR, pipeline, drill pad, drill rig...?
Well I wonder what the rationale was for having nearly two months off "work" between Christmas and Easter!?
I know: it's the "rainy season"!! ;0)
2nd of April. Bring it on, sending the Naysayers iback into the shadows...
Bloody hell, no wonder we have seen no progress on the Dev License. And all for the want of a signature! Fingers crossed that it is sitting on the top of what must now be a very tall "inbox"!!
@Crusty - according to the order papers page on TZ website last recorded sitting was in mid February
Out of interest GL, how long has parliament they been "out"? Do you know?
Reconvenes on the 2nd
perhaps the energy minister will announce something (close to our hearts) to the house?
Sorry RoJo, no, I was just being a wee bit facetious
Yes, MrMoi it was but then one rational poster actually posted something worth replying to. Perhaps if some here can desist from the childish playground banter we can keep it like that?
Woah, wasn’t it ‘goodbye’ just a few days ago Crusty? I really don’t understand this kind of behavior.
At least the SCIR BoD have learnt the lesson - yes just as they are getting kicked out of the door and no longer give a 5h1t..... I wonder if they would have said the same if they were still creaming the shareholders?
Indeed Crusty, even the SCIR bod have finally learnt the lesson. At least it is not the usual and very over used "imminent"
Looks good at least
You're back I see BG. Hadn't you fled to Telegram AEX to pursue 'rational debate' ?
I must confess it has been most pleasant not seeing your posts, but maybe, just maybe, the telegram excursion has knocked some sense into you ?
I do hope so.
I though I'd just check the Tanzania US Dollar situation and what do I find? Another scandal, possibly more corruption. Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel, but the tunnel just seems to get longer and longer LOL!

Well you know what they say Crusty.
Oh BG, you old cynic you!! Have you become a convert at last? ;0)
Yes Alcapone, nearly 3 months since ( gsa ) and at the
signing ceremony the government said that the development licence would be issued very soon, so I'd give it another 3 months if I was you, this is Tanzania, 6 months is very soon. 😀
Highlighting the final kicker in that paragraph CP - "albeit this may be subject to delays".
Well I'll be blowed, surely not! ;0)
SCIR's RNS says end of March.............ish
"Final Investment Decision (FID) being taken by the parties to the Ruvuma Asset Production Sharing Agreement or the JOA as the case may be, looks to remain on track for end Q1 2024, albeit this may be subject to delays"
The FID can't happen without the licence....
3 months on from GSA ... nothing... nothing new
Still not received, Tanzania really is a basket case when it comes to doing business. What on earth is going on?
Same old story RJ. One piece of news on it's own will only ever have a transitory, short term effect. The market very quickly settles back into "I'll believe when I see it" mode.... scepticism rules; unfortunate but totally understandable.
Many more of those and we will be dropping again. Need some news
