….a while back, shares NEVER do what the crowd expects it to. This was supposed to move well into the 40s and hasn’t!! Must be the next bit of news that is the catalyst, or maybe the one after that, or it it the one after that. Jam tomorrow. Heard it all before.

A drop to 30p? You wont be buying in any time soon then
Theres some keech posted oan these boards
Keech is scots word for sheet!!
Afentra, an upstream oil and gas entity with a keen focus on Africa, recently shared insights on its operational strides, particularly regarding its assets on Block 3/05 and 3/05A. The company is jubilant about its production prowess, boasting an impressive combined gross output of approximately 23,700 barrels of oil per day (bopd) up to the end of February 2024, with a net contribution of around 6,995 bopd. The initiation of Light Well Interventions is anticipated to bolster these figures further.
As you can see from the chart mapping the time since my inaugural feature to date, we are currently 12p to the good. However, i am mindful of more fruitful licensing agreements that could further boost the share price. Currently, the share price appears to be undergoing a consolidation period. If it drops around 30p i am likely to buy at this point.

Unsurprised today started with a quick rise and then with a dip and then with push up on close. Typical price action for this type of news.
The type of news where it takes a few hours for people to do the numbers and realise we just lifted a lot and are nearly generating profit.
Also Azule getting the approval from the competition authority means the next approvals are imminent!
50p soon.
7k BOPD is exceptional! AETs management really know how to improve these assets both operationally and environmentally as demonstrated over the last year. Not to mention the reserves replacement which has been achieved to date - so much running room in these assets.
Looking forward to final closure of Azule which is edging closer with the latest approvals, and clearly more deals in the pipeline! A steal at £87m mcap - Strong BUY
Nice update this morning. The production of 23,700 is a nice increase on 2023's 20,180
Also Competition Authority approval was important to PAVE the way i guess
We have responded, just not using your deramping threads.
Full market listing please Paul ,AIM is for loosers .You could invent the wheel and this market would pooh pah it.
Ianfm,
Don't bother trying to reason with the loser, he's a shameless shorter with an agenda to push. Just be delighted in the knowledge that he's seriously hurting with his short position, which will be excrutiating as we move up.
On a brighter note, McDade said he expects to close the deal in "a few weeks", which I take to be April (early Q2). Then we'll get 18 months worth of production in one lump sum :)
"Net debt will also linger as they need to pay for these transactions"
Terry you're clearly not an intelligent guy.
what do you not get about the fact that any oil pulled from Oct 2022 that is sold by Azule, decreases the price we pay for the asset?
the deal was signed to sell/buy in Oct 2022, so any money they make now, is basically Afentras and decreases the price as such.
Lol, Terrythekok must be hurting this morning. I can smell burning shorts this morning, it's beautiful :)
We've just lifted over 40% of our mkt cap in one go & will get a bucket load more cash when Azule closes next month - that cash has been accruing since late 2022, it'll be HUGE!
Jog on JW Belle-end, or whatever your name is, you sad loser. I hope you've lost everything, you deserve it :)
Getting frantic that you cant close your short terry?
just made nearly 50% revenue of the entire mcap in 1 lifting.
And this tho, that we all knew already.
be getting it for free at this rate
Afentra continues to benefit from the asset cashflow from the effective date of October 2022 and upon the completion of the transaction Afentra will provide details on the financing of the final completion payment, which will be positively impacted by the asset cashflow.
'450,000 bbls of crude oil in February 2024. The sales price inclusive of the Brent premium was $85/bbl, generating pre-tax sales2 of $38.2 million to Afentra'
shame about azule tho. now pushed to Q2 for signatures.
Just jumped +4.33% - something incoming, or just doing the same as yesterday when the spread was close to 2p
Please - enlighten me.
Yes they've effectively paid for the asset, are about to go NET CASH POSITIVE (from Net Debt) and will this year later in the year go to NO DEBT at all!
don't hit the "reply" button
you're helping terrythekok/jw******* to reinforce his pathetic, shameless shorting narrative.
massive profits all this year and right up to 2040!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
buy, buy, buy!
Oh you mean the risks of selling 450,000 barrels at ~$75 each.
Back down to 38.35 bid, but 39.50 ask.
Someone mopping up the sells. i just bought some more at 38.70, which then fell to 38.49, but now 39.10 to buy.
very large spread.
The funny thing is that in some ways these guys do not want to rush the closing of the deal, the longer they wait the less actual cash gets paid, the cash from the recent offload is going to mean the net payment when azule settles will be very low and when they finaly do close the oil in storage will also have built up to. a decent ammt ...
