With most airlines now having left the Covid crisis behind and air travel demand skyrocketing, passenger capacity is needed more than ever, and this positively affects MRO demand for the A380.

Simon I can't be doing with the hassle of holding PBR. I just invest in IBZL which has a large chunk and provide >12%. Interesting that they are being forced to go into renewable.... actually think its a good move from Lula.
sorry going O/T.
Yes I’m with HL - maybe that’s why I can’t see anything! Let’s see if I can break your 19 day record
DM, using different brokers and such..
The worst i have had, is from HL and 19 days for a Capital payment to be credit to the account... Who ever thought crest had a snail mail option for Uk.
Nothing surprises me with some companies, even had to argue over my last PBR.A dividends with FT as they listed the withholding tax as 76%
I can see the number of shares I am left with in my account.
We will have to wait until the 14th for the cash and then have to to wait for our platform to credit the money, hopefully on the same day. It all depends on your platform. Rather be with a big platform than say Freetrade for stuff like this.
Mine are not showing up in my account at all. Will they stay out until 14th March?
AJ Bell still not allowing me to buy, even small amounts. Who are these people buying!
I guess the NAV per share has jumped nicely now - the 28m is small in comparison to the NAV but a 12.5% reduction in shares is significant. Fascinated to see what NAV / share calc is when the dust settles and the aircraft are revalued
A single 500,000 trade @48.00p indicates to me a bit of distressed seller type and this has been engineered to get them out. The holding RNSs will be interesting when the dust settles.
AJ Bell have just gone "Restricted on trading". Presume my holdings will be unrestricted tomorrow.
I appear to be getting a lot of credit for other people's posts! I think it's the way the mobile view of the posts can be confusing.
Anyway, we are going to get a payment on shares at 33% increase. The share price should fall under 48p to compensate, I presume 43-44p back to where it was. This will mean the yield increases. So to gain the system I need to add it before you all get to dividend in your accounts reinvest :-D
ii and HL will trade AA4. As per Danger Mouse comment you will have to take their questionnaire/form to state you are conversant with the risks.
H/L also trades this but you may have to fill in a form declaring you understand the risks
AJBell does. Its because AA4 is a "special situations" type of investment I think. Actually, AJBell does almost everything.
Hi,
Could you please tell me which brokers allow you to trade this share as Barclay's Smart Investor sadly doesn't.
Thanks in advance
LOTM
Thanks for pulling all that together in such a format. Very useful!
Thanks RKB - have pinged you
AA4 Reseach
I have completed my research on Amedeo Air Four Plus.
I have an excel spreadsheet detailing from 2015 to 2023:
Share Dividends paid
Capital Redemptions paid and about to be paid
All Quarterly Reports
Directors’ details
Extract data from Annual Reports
TR1 notifications summarized
BoD Share Transactions
Aircraft acquired & sold
For reference:
Dividends paid to date and March 2023 are about £237 million
Capital Redemptions to date and March 2023 are about £156.5 million
I have provided this information to a few friends and I am prepared to share to anyone who reaches out if they can find me on Twitter (not hard to find, just DM)
Today is the last day before we go ex-dividend.
Please DYOR.
RKB
In fact you will get a higher yield than now as while they are reducing shares by 1/8th they are increasing dividends by 1/6th. Cheers all round!
That is speedy. Nothing from AJ Bell from me do this is useful bit of info.
So to maintain the same earnings via dividend as today we will need to buy another 12.5%? The question on my mind is do I buy before or after this event? I think I will be buying after 14 March because I am getting payment at 64p a share at NAV to buy a share trading under NAV. But then I presume it's all mathematically calculated to be not advantageous to people like me thinking about attempting to take advantage!
Just had a speedy HL email, shock horror before the event....
Amedeo Air Four Plus Ltd is undergoing a Compulsory Partial Redemption whereby holders as at the close of business on Tuesday 28 February 2023 are due to have approximately 12.5% of their shareholding redeemed, resulting in a payment of approximately 64.50p per share redeemed.
Please note that trading will be temporarily suspended from the close of business on Tuesday 28 February 2023 as a result of the Compulsory Partial Redemption but the new shares will be available for trading again from Wednesday 1 March 2023.
The redemption proceeds are due from Tuesday 14 March 2023. Once the proceeds have been credited to your account, you will be sent confirmation.
HL seem to hang on to monies for days, and weeks past other brokers. Seems strange to take so long.
DM,
Not so much growing but more steady eddie shares, contributing to that snowball roll over :D
With the following 3 as an example you have Medical paging, Minerals & a BDC = SPOK holdings. (US Nasdaq). 13.4%, Elkem (NOK) 15.8%, PNNT (NYSE) 12.9%.
And these will all pay just before the AA4 X DIV date for April, and so be rolled into more AA4 shares :)
Sorry, if off topic for others :D
0.075p / £0.485 = 15.46% yield
Better than my Brazilian at IBZL at 13% yield and DEC at 14.21% yield... but these are heavily commodity-based. Any non-commodity high-yielders with growing high yield please do post here.
You are correct, I was using Excel and missed that.
This morning I bought 5 batches and after calculating (with the wrong value) my yield worked out at 15%
I bought more this afternoon, so later I will check my “revised” figures.
Thanks
RKB
Just a small precision. The dividend is being increased to 1.75p and not 1.7p, That means the annual is 7p not 6.8p. So the actual return is a bit higher than you are calculating RKBeekeeper.
