Just pathetic this bod. Sp was held all those last 4 months now make sense why it was. Basically the PE guys came out the winner laughing n pretty sure the bod has been lined up something sweet by the pe.
Longer than when Intu went bust. One minute my cash was there ,the next minute" Poof "it was gone.
When will 35 p take effect?
I need out of this immediately!

Every 2 mins Papps? oh I can’t wait that long! Ha ha
I look at it every 2 mins Rox!! :D
You want to be glad you don’t work for the insurance industry, fab buildings and history in every city.....first so much consolidation, followed by the city Big Bang, then de-mutualisation, guaranteed annuity scandal (especially equitable), endowment and pension mis-sales, zombie funds........bye bye way of life.....enter the PE investors
and greed...
yeah the AA used to be really something. Genuinely socially useful organization devoted to the highest quality in all its endeavours destroyed utterly by stupidity.
im setting a sell limit of 35p for tomorrow
Papps check out the ADFN discussion group for AA it will answer all your questions and more.
GLA for tomorrow.
Director or no director I've been proven right. 35 p it is and me for 1 is taking my dough and running.
according to ft the deal has been accepted at 35p ...dont know how true ..
In 2005 AA had nearly 10 million personal members now down to 3.5 million, bad leadership through the years coupled with Vulture stripping private equity companies have ruined a great institution and they walk away with millions leaving the company destitute. These immoral companies do not care about Heritage, history or the AA as a whole. just how much they can walk away with. An example is the AA training college in Nottingham, 150 years old and steeped in history, and when you walked through the double doors for the first you knew that you was a part of something great, proud to be part of a great company.
They sold it and now it is a block of flats just to line their own pockets. The AA is not the AA of old, take away the yellow badge and you are just another Green Flag member.
So I'm still in, in fact I topped up about 36hrs ago as I mentioned yesterday! (Gluten for punishment!)
Have a few questions - if it is accepted by BOD tomorrow, would we accept to see a SP approaching 35p by 1700 and staying there?
When would they take it private? Apologies if that's been published already? When would they settle and pay us out? I guess after their 75% approval and some?
I would expect this to rise tomorrow the closer to market close we get?
Else.. BOD refuse
Else.. PE pull out
Else.. Higher offer
All extending the enjoyment so we can't take advantage of the gains happening around us elsewhere..
What's everyone thinking?
He's not a director of AA. Do you honestly think a director could purchase shares if a company was involved in a TO?
If hes punted on 300k shares so late in the day it's a done deal 35p. A quick 12 k not bad for a days work.
Interesting amount of RNS's after hours including Graeme Coulthard buying 300K . It is looking like the offer has been accepted by the BOD.
Absolutely right Mr Flibby, the big question is will ABC subscribe to that view, and other institutional investors for that matter?
When the serve from the consortium finally get's over the net (they are not very good at tennis) we then get the ball. It is our yellow ball after all. Vote to Reject the offer.
You guys will be in the money when your collecting all the electric cars from the side of the road
Prolonged negotiation adds more uncertainty so as to depress the SP ..... why pay more if you can get cheaper shares in the nervous market?
they're just fleshing out the details. If someone really wasn't happy - it wouldn't be a one day extension - it would be a week or so.
I do hope that if a firm offer is made the AA bod's will at the same time put out their alternative plan for raising money so all shareholders can compare and decide what to do for the best. That is ocause if the AA team have already made such plan.
Agree with that, although we are only talking about £2.£3b debt so don't over state things.
If the consortium can see what this needs and still think they can turn AA around then surely so should they current bod's.
It does look like the consortium have a much stronger management team and it shows AA team up as being weak. Trump would put up with this game.
