Cartman,
Exactly.
PMO don't personally drill the well, they are paying for it.
I'm sure with their in-house prospect analysis, Mr Staley and drill team they will manage just fine. It does not matter that PMO have no North Slope experience, the oil doesn't know this.
People may say that PMO don't have north slope experience, but they have lots of transferable expertise and experience, plus the person doing the actual drilling does have experience of the NS.

Zoro with respect you are a clot feel free to substitute the l and o.
in order to short 88e on spreadex you must also be long. what losses are you showing on your long and profit on your short?
as far as i am aware zoro hasn't posted again but open to correction.
Do you realise how RIDICULOUS that comment is islandgirl? That is like saying to Ronaldo or Messi, yes you have scored 600 goals, but none in Lichtenstein LOL!!!!
Did you recognize that update from this morning?

'Complete misread by the markets yesterday.
The poor sods that's brought in and waited then didn't have the aim experience or ability to wait out the correct market response.
1.5p on this news '
how wrong can you be?
0.90 -1p on opening.
0.5p does not sound much but % wise to coin a phrase is HUGE eespecially if one has millions of shares
i.d trust the market every time not some fourth rate opinions expressed by some posters on this bb
gla
Where's Zoro and his short he held onto lol
Good article, nice to have some informed opinion for what Charlie 1 will be targeted. I had thought certainly the Stella stacked prospects/discovery in the Torok, and a possibility of one of the Schrader prospects. But they've worked out its targeting 7 in total including Lima in the Seabee formation.
With the new working interest, it works out that this one single well is targeting over 3 times the net resource that we were targeting at Winx and which everyone got so excited about. And unlike Winx we don't have to pay for it.
One major thing they've not factored in though is possible changes to the HRZ. The estimates are still based on gross acreage of 271k acres. We've added a lot more land since then and the fairway has been revised. I think we'll get a new estimate when its ready for farmout.
Yes they have expertise but none of it was gained on the North Slope
cd - 06.59: that caught my eye too. A serious strategic bonus move :-))) VGLA
You’re wrong!
With respect your not doing the maths or numbers hence why you thought a placing would have been better. Your wrong.
Looking more closely at the numbers, we are giving a lot more than 25%. I would say around 50%. Unconventional is 0.8-2B. Wall has said one drill can test multiple fields. Premiers expertise?
Our mcap is 50m to raise 20m would cost 50% of the company in this market. It would drag the sp down for years. This way we give away 25% and get a major backer so if we find oil the market will know it would quickly go for production.
Am I missing something? Premier pay for the drill for well over 1 billion barrels, which looks like two thirds of conventional. With no cash up front, why didn't we just cash raise and do the appraisal ourselves, there by retaining most of the conventional? Dilution is painful, but do the maths.
100% agree with that article
Complete misread by the markets yesterday.

1.5p on this news
2-3p by December ready for a jan Feb drill that could add hundreds of millions to the sp.
Still a bit of news to go this year as well
"....... So on success, and those rough estimates, that would be US$15M for circa 1.75% of 88E, and an implied 88E valuation of US$860M – 8 times greater that 88E’s current market cap."
Hang in there everyone, I can only see things are only going to go upwards from here..
Wow, that article contains some interesting numbers of potential valuation if the conventional is a success. Re HRZ this paragraph caught my eye:
"It’s important to note that the farm-out does not include the unconventional HRZ shale play – that 0.8-2 billion barrel prospective resource is still with 88E. The HRZ will also be logged and sidewall cores taken in the full carry well with PMO – so that is a bit of a bonus to 88E as well."
I think looking at some posts put out on how this went on ASX last night, I think we should recover that drop from yesterday. Maybe push higher!
Doors1111, thanks for posting. ATB
Excellent read. Reads better than the rns :}
I just see this as well. On reading this I think people might start to get what a good deal this could actually be. Sounds extremely good to me. Onwards and upwards.
Courtesy of HC. Perspective on just how good a deal this was.
