I recently invested in my SIPP and noticed that Amazon has monopolized a significant portion of the retail market, despite not being a traditional retailer. As a distribution company, they have surpassed their competitors by offering next-day delivery for my parcels. Their dominance is so significant that I believe they will continue to lead the industry for the next 15-20 years. In my opinion, investing $100 now in Amazon should result in steady annual growth of 5%.

All the big investors are sitting on cash and Amazon is at a all time low in valuation. When the big boys start to part with their cash only oneway and that’s up.
Since the beginning of January Amazon has been on a bullish trend. We should see a good rise up to the next results where the share price has the potential to break out 135-140 short term.
Just Bought in for my SIPP, Amazon have now monopolized a whole corner of the retail market and they're not even a retailer. They are a distribution company, and no one else is delivering my parcels next day. They've got so far ahead of the game that I think they'll be leading the pack for the next 15-20 years. $100 now should see steady growth of 5% a year IMO
Amazon approaching all time high again, but as bought in Uk pounds, not actually seeing that much profit.
Whenever it seems to get to 350, it has in past always backed off.
I might sell 40%, and wait for the retreat.
Long term? How much higher will it go?
Looks like we are on the move at last.

not many holders i suppose. I have been in and out of Amazon over the last 6 months and now keep a small half a dozen shares at 3140. its hard a make a quick buck like IAG for example (multi weekly buy - sell) for quick profits, so yes, its a long term hold.
most of my funds into Amazon yesterday, figuring a shift from value (uk) stocks to growth stocks like this one once reality of recession hits after a wave of enthusiasm and hope of a swift recovery fades.
