Things might change here for the better once all the restrictions are over, I think we are closer to the end of the pandemic.
Hold for long term.

Hopefully. Hopefully. This is one of my long term holds and I think if there's a strong post covid recovery, we will look very good indeed.
Looks very positive and promising to me, one for the future I guess.

Karlsen continued.

Norwegian today reported its second quarter results and published the H1 2021
financial report. The results continued to be impacted by COVID-19 and travel
restrictions in all markets. However, following the successful completion of the
reconstruction process and the subsequent NOK 6 billion equity raise, the
company is now well positioned for future growth and to respond to increased
customer demand.
Geir Karlsen, CEO of Norwegian, said: “The H1 financial report and Q2 results
mark a clear improvement in both the financial situation, due to lower operating
costs and the successful completion of the reconstruction process of the
company, and the gradual ramp up of our operations in response to increased
passenger demand.”
Profit before tax (EBT) was NOK 1,590 million in the first half of 2021,
compared with a loss of NOK 4,792 million in the same period in 2020. For the
first half of 2021, production (ASK) was reduced by 94 percent compared to the
same period last year. Total revenue in the first half of 2021 was NOK 591
million, compared with NOK 7,138 million in the same period last year, a
decrease of 92 percent. Unit revenue increased by 22 percent following a yield
increase of 93 percent and a decreased load factor by 28.8 percentage points.
Average sector length decreased by 62 percent. At the end of first half of
2021, the total fleet comprised 51 aircraft. Up to 32 aircraft were operational
during the first half of 2021 due to travel restrictions and lower demand.
In the second quarter of 2021, the company successfully exited the examinership
and reconstruction process which improved equity by NOK 10.7 billion.

Things look quiet here, I just took the plunge, hopefully it's a good call.

GLA and have a lovely weekend.
I'm struggling to find a reference point to ATH now as I believe that shares are diluted since. So I'm wondering how far down we are, and how far up we can go.
It seems after all the right issues and everything with the finance, the sp seem to have settled at around 10 and 11.
It might be a good time to get back in, anyone in agreement this might be the bottom and everything have now been factored in the sp?

Multiple news in different areas of the world bringing the hype back and supplying people with information, I have said this for a while now - this is the best time to invest that we have had in many years, a lot of the companies are on their arses and a lot of new projects from the government after the pandemic trying to recover a lot of debt. we wont get another chance like this for a while, you just have to choose the right investment.
With the current climate and uncertainty who knows what the true affect will be, as you can see there as some movers and shakers among these share holders and influencers. Note the 10m NOK sold before close yesterday i wouldn't like to know how much was lost on that trade but ideally we need the big hitters to stay around.
As the wise man once said "if you build it they will come" this is a big company with a lot of potential, i have worked all over Scandinavia and the thing i learnt early on is they look after their own, buy all the countries own brands etc to keep their economies booming (Not like the UK who would prefer to put restrictions on things that they can do there selves and import for triple the price from the EU)
This is definitely a keeper for the future.
Good to see some posts on here.
I think this will reward people big time but its when to enter that's the key, as someone said maybe it's best to wait for everything to settle first.
I got burnt here a while back but haven't lost hope and hoping I can get my next timing right.
Out of interest, with all the right issues, does anyone know the real dilution effect and thus the sp bottom range?
nearly killed me, 60% wipe out in 2 weeks, CHRIST ALIVE!
Hi, I'm alive so you're not on your own...
I believe this may be an incredibly fabulous opportunity in the long run for what it's worth.

I also work for a Scandinavian company with a lot of Danes and Norwegians
Well done for getting out when you could. Can I ask where you got the heads up from? I'm finding it difficult to get any sort of market info on this share.
To be honest i have only just come in but made sure that i got out before the drop last night then back in again this morning, i think this will get back in to the blue soon enough once the board and news settle down.
I am.... And also a holder of a now very small amount of investment. I've never seen such a turbulent share!
Is anyone still alive on this board or have you all left?
Yes, that's what I understood also, unfortunately.
On the off chance that anyone worried is reading this today (the last day of the rights subscription), the rights are not applicable to retail investors in the UK though if you use an institutional broker, they could still claim the rights themselves and sell on your behalf then transfer the proceeds to your account, I would advise giving them a call, and quickly!

Is the rights issue applicable to UK based investors?
rights finished 7 may and share consolidation completed.
bought 4000 at 34 NOK . I don't think this will go bust and should if the board does not flood the company with debt again slowly move to my target of 120 NOK.
My II account has nil balance on this share.
Anyone know what's going on?
Looking positive with u turn from Norwegian gov on providing state aid - conditional on Norwegian returning to a short haul Scandinavian business. Also extension of protection to finalise business plan. No details yet on rights issue as far as I'm aware. Not even certain there will be one at this stage.
