Pjm1971,we're alike in some ways, l bet there are many like us.
The only difference is I'm not just looking to get my money back, I still have big believe we'll be rewarded handsomely, to get to that point we'll require lots of patience.
Don't know when but I am sure it will someday, as I mentioned before the raw materials are in the group, that should give some relief.

If you don't have enough capital gain to use it against, I'll advise you bring the loss to HMRC's attention, that way you can carry it forward until you have a capital gain to use it against, if not you'll lose it after some years as you can only carry capital loss forward for a limited period unless registered with HMRC.

How much is the claim even to give all this? That might maybe justify these charge.
On the face of it, it looks good until you see the details.
In the event that there is a award and/or recovery, LCM Funding shall be entitled, in the first instance, to the amounts it has deployed from the Facility, as well as the greater of:
a) approximately US$1.05 million being 10% of the Funding Limit;
b) a Funder's commission (the "Commission") of between 5% and 15% of the damages recovered, based upon the number of years that have passed from the date of the Funding Confirmation Notice; or
c) a multiple (the "Multiple") of between 2 and 4.25 times the total of the Facility, based upon the number of years that have passed from the date of the Funding Confirmation Notice.

A word of advice for newbies, share price will almost certainly go back to the placing price, it's almost 100% guaranteed, don't get burnt at this price.
