Hardup post I referd to was wrong.
No real movement in price between the 12 days between his post and reported buy.
Half that price a year on .
Bought more today for $4.72 twice as many as last time.
Executed 7pm same time as Euronav rebuy.
Hardup post below claiming a buy on 6/4/23 $8.83 posted 18/6/23 when $9.47 not posted since a one share poster ( Lloyds )
Bought more today at $7.1
This is third buy since sale on 28/7/23.
29 Analysts expect the price to increase by 60%.
Bought more today at $9 on 17% one day drop on funding news , same price as last post on this page .
Dealt in it three times since
10/8/23 Buy 13.2
28/7/23 Sold 14.7**

"Know one knows nothing" is one of my favorite quotes.
Anyone having troubles buying NIO ADR share?
Twice now I have put good til cancel limit orders in and they just don't trigger, even when the share buy price drops way below my purchase price.. For hours it just doesn't process...
I'm on IG so not a crappy platform and I've never had this problem before over hundreds of past trades with other shares...
I would imagine there are high volumes of this share traded, I'm wondering if MMs are just taking the **** with the spreads and going way beyond what is advertised to make larger profits..

With China not ruling out supporting Russia with weapons and ammunition in Ukraine in the news today, I am out of this first thing Monday morning... That could get very messy...

So what's our exit strategy if China invades Taiwan and the World imposes massive sanctions on Chinese companies? Are we royally screwed?

All Chinese EV stocks are substantially up but nice to see NIO ticking up strongly today. I'm still substantially down on NIO but will hold for the long term. (Just hope China stays away from Taiwan!)

Taken Warren Buffet's advice to be brave/greedy when others are fearful and have topped up with another 800 shares. The delisting fear has pushed NIO's SP to ridiculous levels. NIO is listing on several exchanges to lesson the risk of delisting and there is currently a team of US regulators negotiating in China on an audit deal. Hopefully things will be sorted soon and the price rebounds.

fantastic Q1 earning results which bodes well for the future but the SP is down :-( probably due to chip shortage fears and day traders selling

hi does anyone know ticker for chargepoint chpt on LSE cant find it
I'm invested in Wisdom Tree Battery (CHRG). It's fared better than other tech stocks in the recent market exodus to US Treasury bonds which proves there is strong demand for batteries and battery tech now and in the future. This will be a stronger performer in the next few years. 1yr performance has been 83.5%. I topped up today in order to catch the inevitable recovery upwards.
Anybody tried Wisdomtree etf for batteries?
I'm invested in future tech such ECAR, INRG, TSLA, NIO. also worth a look are US stocks like WKHS and ARKK
Have you checked out ECAR uk based ev etf
Thanks bb, much obliged.
Diff. subject, but just taken a punt with small amount on Chargepoint to review later on in the year when merger with Switchback Energy takes place, (subject to shareholders approval of course).
Am trying to cover a number of bases with regards to what I can only see as the future re Renewable Energy cos.
try this - https://www.justetf.com/uk
ETF tool interesting bb - do youknow if there is similar based on uk stocks?
$300 12 months from now...
Just bought a few at 40 and will sit on them for a while to see what happens. Anyone fancy a guess??

Just entered this one today. Very exciting share for the next few years fingers crossed and good luck all!
Holding here. Got a few long years ahead of us here
Spotted this from a tip from ShareExpert, didn't get in until $17-19 but been buying small chunks up to $29. only small holding of 366, sold 100 before earnings to get some of my money back, wish I never now but i'll let the rest ride now... This will go high, people saying 5 years+ but i think before that TBH.

Likewise Proph! Been popping on here regularly to check in, seems all the activity has been on Yahoo Finance, nice to see this board getting some activity as well.
GLA
Glad to see some posts on here. Bought in months ago, every time I checked on here there wasn’t much chat. Glad it’s picked up.
She’s price looks healthy. Happy to hold onto this for a while!
Short traders got burned again and will be buying like crazy after another set of great results. Looking forward to the open they can buy mine for $60.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen I thought it would be wise to repost my message from weeks ago.
(I think young investors may want to read this)
You guys do not need to listen to what I am about to say, however, I have been investing for many years and just wanted to send out a reminder that it imperative to have a diverse portfolio when is comes to investing. (this is what successful investors do).
Moreover, the market carries a wide range of sectors including the following; for example; banks, real estate, health, tech, etc.
There are also etfs to cover these sectors to be even more diverse. Voo, or even QQQ
A Diverse and Successful Portfolio may including the following:
Voo: .05%
Banks: .025%
Health care: .025%
Reit: .05%
Nio: 98.50%
Happy investing!

The bulls are looking for a 50+ next Mon/Tues, here's hoping the momentum continues. I expect a breach over 52 shortly followed with a pullback settling around 40. If your going long I am this SP will hit 70+ before summer 2021. The EV space is about to go nuclear.. Citron are clowns.

I sold at $54 today and then got back in with half at $42
See what Monday brings but I get impression it has dropped today just so that it can rocket towards $60 on or just before results.
Also check out HYVE as feel it can double bag in short term.
pg1985, historically after earnings announcement it has tended to dip a bit (but not that much) as people profit take
Just a reminder earnings call will be on Tuesday 17th Nov, likely to see SP go down a bit
Why likely to decrease?
Moses151, any price under $50 is good to buy for long-term hold. On 17th it may go up or down (but probably not that much).
There is the SP forecast

Nio is just going from strength go strength, I see this at 60 before Xmas. Monthly sales beaten and expect a strong financial report, this stock is very bullish.
I am in,
Update by Nio on 17th Nov, there may be side movement until then. There has been a rapid ride from $21. I sold at $19 and am now kicking myself and have now re-brought at $41. Look at CNN Business Forecast for next 12 months https://money.cnn.com/quote/forecast/forecast.html?symb=NIO

Great day! Surprised more aren’t buying. This should continue to pick up momentum
$80 target, really paying off holding in here. :)
We finally did it
Back under $20.50, great buy in opportunity.
$20.85 already, should smash past $21 today, $24 by end of week, $30 by end of month, $100 by end of year.
NIO is the better Tesla, higher quality cars and shipment numbers due out tomorrow too so we could even accelerate fast on good shipment numbers.
DO NOT MISS OUT!
DYOR!

Bargain sub $25 and one of the best long term holds out there!
