So I want to invest this years ISA allowance into $TSLA but not sure if I should pull the trigger this week or wait.
Macro storm clouds are still gathering above the markets with stubborn inflation and high interest rates. Real possibility of another banking crisis erupting later this year. Although Tesla is growing strongly it can't escape the geo-political and economic issues affecting the planet.
I work at Investec Wealth and today most of us are feeling like an unloved child being pushed out the front door by parents who wish we were somebody else's problem! Lots of redundancies to come as the businesses overlap so much.

I was invested in Tyson Foods until mid 2021 precisely because they were also invested in cultured and plant based meat alternatives. However they are a mature company whose SP is slow to move, they also have a bad reputation for intensive farming and worker's welfare although they do pay dividends. Comparing ANIC's future SP growth potential with Tyson and it's no contest really. I don't regret selling Tyson at all.

BSF Enterprise PLC (BSFA) another British cultured meat company - shares rocketed up today following RNS that stated they successfully produced a small fillet steak with the fat, structure and appearance of farmed meat. They don’t use scaffolds like other cultured meat and it is animal and serum free. Maybe we should invest in that one too?
Taken Warren Buffet's advice to be brave/greedy when others are fearful and have topped up with another 800 shares. The delisting fear has pushed NIO's SP to ridiculous levels. NIO is listing on several exchanges to lesson the risk of delisting and there is currently a team of US regulators negotiating in China on an audit deal. Hopefully things will be sorted soon and the price rebounds.
Researchers from the University of Nottingham's School of Biosciences, together with colleagues at the Universities of Cambridge, Exeter Tokyo and Meiji (Japan) have developed stem cell lines from pigs, sheep and cattle embryos grown without the need for serum, feeder cells or antibiotics.

Tesla used to be 1.8% but is now valued around 2.8% of S&P 500. This means passive and active funds that benchmark the index will be forced to buy more shares. Next quarterly rebalancing takes place in early December. Expect more buying pressure soon.
