JkGunner - I topped up my ISA £10K at 29.8p so I'm even more unhappy about the pullback :-) but I'm not worried. I'm invested long term and fully expect ANIC to get to 50p within 6 months or so. The message of clean cultured meat and Agronomics is getting out there which helps to attract more investors.

I recently had the same dilemma regarding physical silver. Eventually bought Wisdom Tree physical (PHAG) ETF. It's "allocated" and HSBC is the custodian. Deliberately avoided funds where JPMorgan was the custodian but it's hard for UK investors to do so. You can avoid VAT on physical silver by buying bullion and storing in a vault (charges will apply). https://www.ukbullion.com/silver/secure-vaulted-vat-free-silver.html
Ooh looks like you chaps are gonna take a spanking this week :-) Never mind here's some good news to keep you smiling:
- Canaccord Genuity analyst drastically increases his price target on Tesla from $419 to $1,071
- Tesla delivers over 184K vehicles in Q1 2021 up 110% breaking all time YOY records
- Morgan Stanley states that Tesla is a "must own" stock
111baker - I'm also invested in SYME but I hope to God this board doesn't become anything like that one. Syme's BB is a nightmare with insults, swearing, outright rampers and derampers all piling in to have a go at each other. But apparently it's not as bad as other boards on LSE which are even worse!
This is a huge admission that after 12 years of development things are not going well and that Waymo is trailing Tesla in autonomous driving. Rumours of a power struggle with parent company Alphabet have been denied but Waymo has spent billions of dollars and “there could be some increasing impatience” over when Waymo might begin to contribute meaningful revenue. https://www.ft.com/content/dc6e4693-ef3f-4bce-90e5-1bcdeb67c63d
Thought I should share some of the wonderful news I'm seeing this week :
Tesla releases Q1 2021 delivery results: massive new record of 185,000 vehicles
Tesla Gigafactory Shanghai major expansion initiated
Tesla Megapack batteries (worth $50m) to be deployed at Apple’s California solar farm
Tesla is selling electric car credits to Volkswagen in China
Pilot production lines for Tesla Semi trucks and Cybertrucks likely to be running before year end
Happy Easter everyone!
Obviously plenty of demand especially in China. Fantastic result considering this is usually a slow quarter and Tesla had to shut down the Fremont factory due to supply issues and retooling for the refreshed Model S and X versions. Bodes well for the rest of 20201.
There is a rumour that Tesla and Toyota are reportedly discussing a partnership that would see the two automakers jointly develop the legendary $25k electric SUV. Toyota would provide the vehicle’s platform while Tesla would supply the electronics and software.
