Interesting that barely anyone has touched the shares at the open. Investors are wary of Zotefoams at the moment. I have emailed the company this morning to ask about the next trading update. It concerns me that this wasn't contained within it, it's a bit of a hollow RNS with no financial data attributed to it.
Let’s hope today’s RNS gives the share price a sprint!!
Just too cheap given tech and coverage.
Looking a good entry point.
ZTF due to post a trading update?
They had an update on 13th Oct '22
Very positive following the presentation. Technical subjects explained clearly and the team seem well focused. Let’s hope the environmental pressures make producers but the stuff.
I totally agree and very succinctly put.
Yes, agree, could go crackers if you think of the global scale.
Wonder who the retailer is? This could be a game changer to the company if all goes to plan with potential for significant sales volume increases and hopefully a rerating of the shares.
Interesting comments from Paul Scott on his excellent podcast. Seems a bit undecided on Zotefoam having flagged up what a good business it is. I think he might be fully invested which makes it a little tricky. Looks like a win win situation to me. The single client bias of Nike (40%?)is somewhat de risked with a new contract running to end of 2029. The ReZouce carton work in progress, could be a game changer if successful.. Very much in the air at the moment, and if it doesnt workout would eliminate the current cash burn. But if it does work would enlarge ZTF several fold. Energy and raw material costs are stabilising after some horrendous tripling of polymer prices. Would Nike be interested in a buy out as Paul suggested? Cant see it myself, certainly not the whole business. The trouble with waiting for all the ducks to line up is the horse has usually bolted. Think its worth taking some of the risk here as there doesnt seem to be much downside, barring another banking crisis. We have entered a much more globaly volatile climate and the market will have to adjust to it.
Seriously needs a rerating when looking back at share price 5 years ago!
Looking good for this year and beyond.
good volume today also
On a quick read the figures and statements look very satisfactory. No drama, no over stating the quality of the results and considered opinions on future progress.
Wish there were more like Z!
Expect it will not enthuse the market in the current investor climate but this seems a well managed outfit with quality products selling to top brands and managing costs as well as any in the present mad world we live in.
£2k punt. Lets see how she goes!
IMO - on the verge of a rerating.
TU in January.
Very excited with their blue sky project which will be revealed in forthcoming months - not priced in.
Good and reassuring statement and , as always, very conservative.
I like the understated announcement of the patent for ReZorce in USA.
Great to be a supplier to Nike but on what terms? If raw material input costs have rocketed can they pass this on to Nike? Personally I doubt it as Nike is in driving seat, so are their margins being squeezed?
The company said they thought raw material prices had peaked but share price is suggesting otherwise. I like this company a lot but I think there is still further downside given how volatile supply chain issues are and the fact that footwear made up 40% plus of revs in 1H
Nike reported quarterly earnings of 93 cents against estimates of 51 cents/share. They benefited from pent-up demand for shoes and apparel.
Big day tomorrow..I think it s going to be good.
All things considered.
Well done! Market likes the update
In for a punt
