And another unrealistically low closing price, although at least a little higher than the last unrealistically low closing price :)
Most of us who invest, especially in AIM shares, read through hours of info and analyses which hopefully significantly narrows down our potential targets considerably.
Then, particularly with explorers be they oil, gas or mineral, you really start to identify those targets that could 'fly'. A lot of us favour a particular type, be it a gold explorer and still more may only look to Companies within certain favourable and politically stable countries such as Australia.
By the next stage, your investee Co may have started to produce findings from its initial drilling campaign which again should support the prospect of significant resources.
Or, you could cut a lot of that work and go straight to XTR - its not often you have such encouraging potential with the added bonus of a major player having a pre emption right to buy back the asset should resources exceed the agreed leve for its Bushranger Project.
So, in essence, the question any prospective investor in XTR should ask themselves at this stage, is simply how much do I put in. Each to their own etc.
I am not saying XTR is without risk, but the balance is certainly tipped toward the investor IMO. The rest is up to you, but on the basis Bushranger continues to produce supporting evidence for what could be a very significant discovery, then the SP is only going one way.
All the best .

It all helps...
Looks like the POC is testing the $9,000 barrier again - can only help the SP...
Mister Market has raised the ADVERTISED price [NOT LIVE] to sell to 7.9p and to buy still remains the same at 8p +9.38%.
Appears that Mister Market/s finds it difficult so has to offer a bit more.
Let*s see what happens next?

There is also a belief that the Commodity Discovery Fund has been buying up XTR shares. If true, then we may also get an RNS if/when they have amassed a 3% stake. Would further boost market confidence.
Both pieces of news together Whoosh!
Because clearly IF this is a major discovery the valuation isn't going to stay around £58m too much longer. The next RNS is either going to be first assays - which 'should' set the trend for following results OR it will confirm (or otherwise) a major step out (extension) in mineralisation with Drill 5.
why?
I think the next RNS, when it drops, is going to be pivotal.

Before I went out to get sarnies, I did a dummy live check and I found that the market wanted to take more than normal mkt size. That was very encouraging as a TEST that I do.
Now, I find that XTR is 7.7p to sell and 8p to buy [NOT LIVE PRICE, advertised price] + 9.18%.
XTR RACECOURSE HOLE 5
The last RNS was last Tue and today, drilling has been on for 7 days now.

and you won't unless you stop selling out as soon as your shares start losing a bit of money
as has been said before, the stock market is a mechanism for transferring wealth from the impatient to the patient
by the way most people on here have been through the learning curve you are on, and still get it wrong often :))
many times i lost money by being impatient and not having a plan for my investment
- as someone said below ,stocks (especially AIM stocks) are a bit of a gamble , try and get the odds on your side, XTR right now has an awful lot of upside and limited downside
£100k I would love to have that much cash.
100k shares or £100k?
100k
>> Even doing all that which is correct can result in loss
Completely agree. In the end, investing is a gamble and you can do everything right and still lose. However, I try to do all I can to stack the deck in my favour :)
What volume of Xtr u hold?
Thanks Steve that was very helpful but honestly I do read RNS but don't do research on the companies as that's not my field.
>> Thanks for the advise but honestly all my purchases Fu$ked up
>> AFC from 74p to 42p
>> RMM from 0.43p to 0.32p
>> SYME from 0.57p to NIL
>> XTR is back which was originally from 8.4p to 8p now
I can't comment on SYME or AFC because I haven't researched those shares. However, I am obviously in XTR and I have been watching RMM for a while. Based on the prices you paid, you seem to be buying on spikes. In other words, you are buying shares because the price is going up, which is a really bad strategy.
You need to look at companies in which you are interested and do a lot of research before making purchase decisions. At the very least you need to read RNS from the past 12 months plus any company presentations. Then you need a rough calculation of the value of the company, plus the current financial situation. Then you can look at market cap and potential future news flow and make a buying decision. If you don't know how to do that, then I really advise learning how before buying any more shares. There are plenty of resources online where you can learn for free.
In the case of RMM, it is a great prospect long-term but there is a lot of downward pressure on the share price in the short-term as 40% of the shares came from placings in the last 3 months. There is also a new tranche of shares that will become available for the holder to sell on March 18th. I am personally waiting to see what happens then before making a purchase decision.
For each share, you need a plan. Understand why you are buying and what you are trying to achieve. Also, you need to re-evaluate your expectations and your decision each time you have a new piece of information. If you don't know exactly why you are investing in a stock, then don't invest.
For XTR, go read all the material available and then decide whether to sell or hold, but please don't make a decision based on an arbitrary price point.
Sorry that was long, but you really need to do your own research or you will just lose money.
Thats what I am thinking it's not my game.
Forget
Don't give up now.
Just sit on your hands.
You've found a winner here, just need a bit of patience.
Well Sirius, I did not purchased them to keep for 3 years as my plan was to keep them for atleast 6 month to max 1 year time.
Forzeb - i dont think this game is for you, good luck though.
