Yes, I was thinking we might see 500k-1m printed after hours in the next 72 hrs. Somewhere between 5.2 and 5.4. Worth keeping an eye on.
>> A fair few sells today
Yes, I noticed that too. Million plus sold in low 5.2s but price held very steady and kept trying to move up. In the past, even minor selling pressure resulted in a price drop so I thought that resilience was very encouraging.
A fair few sells today but the price up instead of down. Wonder if there'll be some large buys reported out of hours?
Got to be a 7am RNS tomorrow... hasn't there?!?
10 days between the RNS from the completion of 7/8 holes to the completion of holes 9/10. I’d say the next set of lab results are imminent or they’re falling behind - this would raise the question about catch up or continued delays on dates.
Then there’s the completion of last two holes and start of the SE campaign. We could be around 300m depth by now.
And there’s an AGM next week.
Drip drip of RNS hasn’t moved the dial (ok we’re up) maybe CB is going for the nuclear option??
>> Not too much reaction though to the RNSs on the SP sadly
We are up over 30% during that 5-week period. How much reaction were you expecting?
Mon 20 Sep 3.95
Mon 27 Sep 4.4
Mon 4 Oct 4.75
Mon 11 Oct 5.14
Mon 18 Oct 5.23
I think you're barking up the wrong tree
Steve - Yeah, those RNS are good but still only comparable to being slapped round the face with a little wet fish. We are waiting in anticipation for a whopper round the chops...

I don't think we can complain too much about RNS frequency. Number of RNS in each week:
Last Week: 2
2 Weeks ago: 3
3 Weeks ago: 3
4 Weeks ago: 2
5 Weeks ago: 2
I also think Colin has publically set the expectation of an RNS when we start and finish each hole + an RNS on assay results. If he changes from that public policy he is in danger of affecting the SP. No information given when information has been promised might imply something has gone wrong etc, so I don't think he could move to monthly (or maybe even weekly) reporting without clarifying this ... in an RNS. Holding an RNS back for a day or two to allow more info to arrive and so issue one rather than two RNSs shouldn't be an issue. Perhaps that is what is happening now. I don't know but I think I might now be an RNS junkie suffering withdrawl symptoms.
I don’t really get this argument about issuing too many RNS’s. After all what is ‘too many’? I don’t see anything in AIM rules ref this matter. And you only have to look at Paul Johnson @ Power Metal (POW) for example they issue RNS’s on every separate project. Sometimes daily, sometimes more than one per day. They will be subject to same rules. Companies pay for issuing RNS’s, what difference does it make?
Caveat, yes there was a mention in CBs talk that he had got into trouble with regulators at Bezant for apparently tardy release of drill results (as a result of a poster's complaints) and that , conversely, he had been pulled up for issuing too many RNS at XTr - he said he had argued hard against that, but no doubt he will have taken note of the rap on the knuckles, so it makes sense to receive more grouped RNS at XTR I think
Im reading between the lines - Colin said assay results go through their own review before they are issued in an RNS. Could this not just be that at this stage their own review is to a bit more and update the drilling plan details with these results, add the drill numbers onto the map we have already been given and perhaps issue some further guidance....
Of course it might also be as simple as - last week was a very busy one with the presentation etc and he has numerous AGMs next week, so he is struggling to keep on top of it .... will be a short term problem. (I know the accounts department are always slow with my expenses when it comes to period end).
I'm happy to gain 1p a month ATM, it will provide a good base for a rerate on the major news we are all waiting and hoping for. 2p would be even better.
It may be that Colin has been told that he has been issuing too many RNS updates and he may have decided to group them to reduce the number of announcements being made?
In which case, maybe we will get monthly drill updates instead of piecemeal ?
Lack of news here seems a little unexpected given some of us thought the last RNS 'suggested' those last two holes has just been finished at the time of the previous RNS release (because of the stated number of 'holes completed' although they were not mentioned specifically!) So will the next RNS just be another in the sequence, or does the delay indicate the next RNS may have greater significance and hold a surprise for good or bad?
