I have lost so much on this I just can’t justify putting any more whatever the cost. I just don’t see why the share price tanked so much, surely as legislation gets closure the price should increase? The question is why haven’t a hot point or Samsung taken exclusive rights on this?
Well, modest amount though it is, I have just put my name down for my entitlement too. Broke my rule on 'new money' into my PF too, but would be a shame to miss out when filters in washers are coming to Europe soon.
It’s a fair point but it’s not always possible to get large trades off, I’d be interested to see what institutional investors didn’t take up there options as they are likely looking for an exit strategy.. also there isn’t much room for manoeuvre, they can’t get to breakeven without at least one more raise,… literally one bad RNS will see investors run like rats from a sinking ship.. but like you say market cap is low so if they somehow change the habit of a life and get there ducks in a row it could mutibag. Just think there are way better options out there right now.
Grace, Why would anyone be hanging on now. They have had weeks to sell at 5p. (sure if the SP went to 7p then that might well flush out some profit takers, I am just trying to gauge how strong 5p is likely as a support.)
good luck with that if you think there are still no sellers looking for an exit.
The MCAP is now so low that any good RNS with commercial agreements will see this rerate significantly. Risk/reward is favourable, but most have had their fingers burned so are understandably put off
Fingers crossed DD. We will know soon enough.
My "logic" is that they are now funded for some month/a year? so there is no funding issue right now hanging over the stock. In the meantime more deals might be revealed over the coming months (and in my view based on their past history that is likely rather than a silence).. The collapse in the SP has flushed out most if not all of the sellers that were doubtful.
The money coming in now at 5p therefore suggests that at least for a while, there is little reason for any meaningful sales.
At worse there is little attraction for new buyers, but with no sellers but that should at least keep the SP stable and one good RNS will give it some upward momentum.
I have similarly asked for double my allocation, for similar reasons wyndrum. It is a fairly nominal amount of money I'm committing...............I will not invest any more meaningful funds until I see either Director purchases and/or clarity on revenues and profits
well, I like the risk reward on this one so have taken up the offer and asked for more. It remains to be seen what others do but its a bottom draw for 12 months I think but I look for steady appreciation. (I am hoping that this is the floor which if I am right reduces the risk considerably.
The different views are all what helps to make a market.
So what your saying is... I can now buy these shares on the open market for 5.16p or buy them at the hugely discounted price of 5p for what is now a very high risk to reward stock? I'm not buying anymore of this until they're a 10 million mcap and breaking even. What a joke

It's surely gonna happen, not just in France..
Am I correct in believing that this is probably true: 'Solutions to meet French legislation requiring the fitting of microfibre filters in all domestic washing machines by 1 January 2025 are expected to drive revenue growth for Xeros in 2024'. And that Xeros is the owner of the filter that's previously performed best in tests? Best in class filter?
If France brings in rules requiring filters then manufacturers are going to have filters throughout their European washers rather than a purely French model, with another model for everywhere else (especially if other countries are very likely to follow suit).
I don't know what the lead in time is for selling washers but some will go to shops that have a slower turnover than the big boys. So, the possibility of an unsellable washer sitting in a storeroom in 2025 will mean that all washers that leave the factory from... perhaps June '24 ... will have to have a filter. Maybe even earlier.
Have I got anything wrong there?
They will need to raise again this time next year, won’t they? My maths ain’t great but 500k x 12 is 6m, breakeven sometime in 2024 (which probably means the end).. this can definitely go down from this level..
I think it will all depend on the SP reacts running up to the deadline. If it stay around 5.3p then its a good deal to buy at 5p.
The more people who take up their offer will likely push the SP up further. So you get a bit of virtuous circle.
The bull case is that this gives (and I know we have been here before), the company financial headroom for new income to come in and to sustain it until profitability arrives.
If you don't think that is going to happen then sell, but if you do think it will, then this is quite the bargain ....
There can't be many sellers left though now which in simplistic terms usually means that with no sellers, the SP can only go one way.....
You pays yer money..... (imo, dyor)
Haha, there all yours mate ;-)
Your Xeros Technology Group plc shares
Dear ****
You’ve got the option to buy up to ***** Xeros Technology Group plc shares at a fixed price of 5p each, which would cost £****.55. You may apply for more shares than this, also at 5p, but you may not get all the shares you apply for.
This is called an open offer, and it’s a common way for companies to raise money.
If you don’t want to buy more shares, you don’t need to do anything. No cash will be paid in respect of unused entitlements.
Buying more Xeros Technology Group plc shares – Act by noon Monday 17 October 2022
The easiest way to take part is on our website. We can’t accept instructions by post or the HL App.
can this dude get any worse? - yes - it probably can!
Woodstock- I called you crazy because you were going on about buying in here when the price was 20/30p when it was as clear as that dick on your head that this fund raise was just around the corner, you should be thanking me… bit gutted really, if I’d realised how much of a bell end you were I’d have encouraged you to invest, although you probably don’t have any money in any case.
Oh and your posts are rather funny, they make you sound like a foreign person that doesn’t really know how to insult someone in English! Very amusing..
£72k down here. £60k is SIPP £12k in ISA absolute joke
I’ve lost around £30k here, it’s eye watering. Managed to extract a few k after the last update. I’ve lost all faith in the company delivering. The new CEO needs to purchase shares for me to consider taking part in the open offer. This is a share I may trade in future as £1m mcap is tiny and with the green credentials then it’s the sort of share that may well attract the herd on aim in future. But not one I’ll consider investing in much further
You are so full of ****e Woodstock I wouldn't think anyone reads your drivel
In at 3p my end.
Spread to high lol
Yeah you go Gracetrad1. Your the crazy one No disrespect.
Honestly don’t know how they are able to keep raising money.
It must be close to £200m invested now retuning an effective market cap of £1m, no substance to any of the RNS releases they just play the fiddle to there audience and boy they must play it well..
