Agreed Mirasol, we're long term investors and UKOG have a lot of assets to realise yet. No rush to begin, the main point is to get it right. Slowly but surely. Once they have the rig now they could be drilling until the end of the year..... six wells!
Re placing false rumours.... just rumours created by trolls as usual.... ignore!
Where are the rumours coming from?. SS has already, on numerous occasions, Ukog is fully funded. With Rig imminent can't believe this sp at the moment. Down almost 5%. SS if there is anything that is going to affect market sentiment on Ukog can you get it on the table now. The market has battled with Ukog due to lack of confidence/rumours - install the confidence required!!. All the pain has to subside at some point with this master plan and your going to have to the ride the waves in front before hitting calm waters. ATB
Don't forget DHC also was THE big ramper on Angus's Brockham test..... those posts make an embarrassing read. - espec. to LTH's like me
I agree with Trollhunter that UKOG are playing a clever, and very long game here. Sanderson is backing the science and soaking up the weaker brethren
I would say tho' that NO onshore UK oil operation goes to plan - they are lawyers later than forecast for a start - and the reason is that they companies can't control all the variables - planning, police, rig availability, partners.................
I don't think it's deramping to say late October for news of the Portland horizontal when we still haven't seen the rig arrive yet............. I've been in here for over 4 years so I can wait a bit longer.
Look at the progress of the two companies over the past two years. The Big Fish UKOG are gobbling up smaller players and as they grow their prey gets bigger.... hence the most recent deal to acquire the second largest partner in Horse Hill. It's evolution and survival of the biggest and fittest.... UKOG!!! The cheaper you get in and the bigger stake you can build the more you'll have once they realise all their assets. Big re-rate coming in the very short term though on proof of concept horizontal drill into the Portland at HorseHill. GLA
DHC...mega ramped this share for at least a year, no one could even ask a question and he would be on their case with all the copied and paste ramping positives that were humanely possible to quote, for what ever reason he lost his bottle and sold out, that is fair enough, but to come back on here and every other board that he plys his trade and do a complete u turn and deramp ukog is bare faced cheek to say the least...I am invested here for about 2 years and want ukog to do well, but in that time the ramping from DHC was embarrassing...if anyone questioned his veiws he urged people to filter them, in his own words do not respond, let them play to an empty Big Top
But you are holding and pumping Angus for all you're worth and knocking UKOG because you want to get what's left of your money back in here on the cheap..... you're going to miss the train unless you get out of Angus now mate!!!!
@Miratroll, my answer was based on what the company have told me themselves. So I think I'll stick to that for now until they tell me something different. Good luck with your research though wherever you are getting it from.
l think your message of 00.24am.. sums the situation up VERY well.... l believe UKOG has a terrific future ahead of it... lm holding long and strong.IMO this SP, will re-rate over the next 6 months big time... Good luck all....
Yep, I see troll up early today watching his Angus investment dip to 1.10p and UKOG trading up to 1.10p this morning. Is this the day they swap places. Trolls will be doing everything they can to hype Angus and get their money out while at the same time trying to keep UKOG down for when/if they get their back to invest here. It's a funny game they play thinking they can influence the market by posting on a chat board designed simple to exchange research and knowledge.
OMG. I amazed myself yesterday. I did the Dundee Kilt Walk and a little bit extra for Andy's Man Clubs. 26.6 miles, over 70,000 steps and in just a little over 8 1/2 hours. Met a lot of great people, heard a lot of touching stories and we all raised a goodly sum for our favourite charities.
A little bit of cooling rain, pipe bands, Scottish country dancing, great support from the volunteers, toots from passing motorists and trains all went towards making it a day to remember.
And, in two weeks time, I do it all again :-) when I walk another 26 miles for Macmillan Nurses. For those of you who have donated, believe me, it really is appreciated. Euan, the facilitator at the Dundee branch of AMC asked me to pass on his thanks. For those of you who would like to donate, there is still plenty of time, just click on the links below.
The draw down and start of those convertible loan notes gets ever closer with the completion of the Tellurian deal.
I'm sorry to say it but Mr Sanderson with all his increased percentage stakes for shares and now a whopping £5 M CULN (and possibly more) has taken most any potential profit out this one with conversion and overhangs. These just add to any drill risks involved.
There are other shares around the Weald that should benefit from any upside without the vast array of clouds hanging over UKOG. Alba + Angus.
