Iāve held on to my THG share because I think there will be a bid or corporate action which will increase the SP - but this could happen tomorrow or it could happen in 3 years time, there have been so many false starts and misdirections over the last couple of years.
Hopefully itās sooner rather than later.
Thereās some lovely stats at the moment in terms of sports nutrition growth. This article suggests the global value in 2023 was $28.1b with forecasts for 2028 at $42.2b.

I can see multiple bidders now emerging from the woodwork as the turnaround is complete and very valuable global brands have been established
That isn't growing in real terms. After inflation revenue is completely flat! Its pretty pathetic compared to many low cost retailers. THG have some real work to do to turn this mish mash of businesses they cobbled together with overly generous investor capital into a world class business. But at least they seemed to have stopped the rot. This should be on the up from here but it's no world beater yet. Ingenuity is just a start up still after all this time with no indications of exponential growth. Which is a shame. That was always the interesting bit and it's not shining
Your now green!!
Agreed @ Yorek, THG Beautyās online market places and automated infrastructure are hugely valuable assets. Brandās just canāt build global D2C infrastructure/expertise cost effectively themselves, but they have to play in that space. Just donāt see how THG will not be one of the long term winners.
Thanks šš¼
I see ridiculous statements being made 240+ etc etc, more desperate ramping.
Understand it for what it is ....at the moment its a hard low margin business
Iām definitely left wondering if the aborted plans to float Beauty (announced in media Sept 21, to float in 2022) are actually just delayed, until theyāve recovered from Covid etc., to get the valuation they want.
They are servicing almost all global brands and Matt said he could talk more freely about it than nutrition (due to competition). So, I see a long list of potential shareholders, all of whom will want to protect their supply chainā¦..
And no Green Boxes!!!
Why are we losing customers? Average order value is also decreasing (Macro economics have improved since Q1 ā23?)
Poor performance from Ingenuity, Internal revenue down due to Ingenuity charging Nutrition for the bulk of itās services Iām assuming.
Good performance by beauty, that new head has walked into a nice role. Will it be the driving force of our recovery?
Amazing Beauty will drive us backed up by Nutrition & even Ingenuity chipping in, Big Capex spending done, Whey heading back to all time lows, local distribution hubs open India, Japan.. Also sounds like US very strong & going into offline stores for more strength and to tee up potential partners.. Nobody getting my 250k shares.. Small steps 70p first then Ā£1 quickly after I think. Peel Hunt convinced SP Ā£1.40+ being conservative.. Everything looks great this is the best the company has looked in last few years and we were able to buy in at extreme lows and still can at 65p!! Crazy.. Brilliant Day GLA LTH..
1. Iāll go for 65p firmly rejected @ even money

On things in the pipeline, he also said, āIāve probably said more than I shouldā
See Yorek post its spot on
@Yorek thatās a good analysis of the key points of the call š
Iāve no doubt there will be plenty come along with alternative views but you canāt argue with what you have laid out
Including:
Nutrition - good quality partnerships to come, launching products in categories not currently in. Mentioned Flavouring and Chocolate. Success in licensing greater than expected. Offline sales carefully curated to ensure no cannibalism of online. Awareness of MyP brand 52% from 48%.
Ingenuity- new clients on board basically because they offer the best service than brands can provide themselves, including a 12.30am cut off for orders & 30% of trading done after 10pm. Enabled Whitestuff to reenter German market.
Beauty - operating with most global brands. Building an ecosystem via app and once customers work through the tiers, they buy 5, 6 or 7 times as much product. Biossance contribution was in low single digit (of 11% growth).
Apologies if Iāve miss interpreted any of the above.
It was a good call in my view and Iām more than happy with progress and continuing to hold.
GLA LTH.
Hi All,
For those who couldnāt listen in live, would it be possible for someone to bullet point any relevant points brought up? Thanks
Indeed being short now is suicide squad stuff
The turnaround shows this is likely worth closer to 400p so Moulding was right to reject previous bids
@STE65p what does a SQUIB look š like, not seen one of those recently?
It appears only a matter of time before we see a Ā£ multi-billion spin off it seems, the remaining shorts will be getting nervous at these levels as we saw last year it can suddenly spike by 50 or 60p in a day or two. JMO Adyor
Novice , I agree pinch of salt to be taken with the comment but Very Interesting all the same . I really do think something is in the works here with Nutrition or Beauty Float being the prime candidate but they are not quite ready to announce. all my opinion
Novice agree and have the exact same thoughts as your last post re city and personally happy the call was... Normalish. Yea Steve, city is def someone here š
Bid increasingly likely now
You have to Forgive "the steves", they are having a bad day. After all having to constantly swap accounts and post nonsense is difficult as they are struggling to make up new rubbish.
Maybe today is the day that they finally blame "Aliens"
