Nice find Daf
Some weeks ago I made a comment on divergence between UK and US markets, Dow at the time was nudging 40k, FTSE at 8k - roll forward a few weeks and that dynamic has changed slightly with a gap of around 2000 point emerging.
If Europe and UK start dropping rates we could see an unwinding the dominant position held by US markets, in addition FTSE trackers may have a greater impact given the bullish phase currently enjoyed by UK markets.
Folks wonder who is doing the selling, my own view its the numerous tracker type index funds which base their economic model around interest rates and consumer spending.
I've watched the below fund reduce almost daily on their 'consumer' category from 12.46% to 12.03%, it doesn't sound like much but this fund value sits at around $100b, also multiple this by a factor of 20 or so for the other funds.

We may however see the balance change even with US rates staying high for longer, a reduction in EU/UK rates should have some impact along with the much delayed FTSE listing.
Every day ending in y is a buy signal with this amazing share. Mathew is at the helm and will deliver us to prosperity.
Buy signal?
Lots of buyers, hardly any wanting to sell.
Was expecting that to be a Google chart random figure for a bit till it corrected to the proper UT, pleasant surprise
Yeah pretty random. Just shows how thin the vol is
Didn't see that coming!
Added quite a few discount shares today. Job well done.
Great share that will provide great returns in the long term IMHO.
Completely agree with our glorious leader. It is perfectly fine to feel negative about stock you hold that isn't performing but to come on here with constant negativity about something you don't own is either subversive or requiring a specialist medical intervention.
I agree, it is a dysfunctional board if you can call it that. The Chairman appears to be a silent over paid puppet of the 'Deluded One 🤡', the 'Deluded One 🤡 ' clearly isn't interested in PI's, the 65% club are sleepwalking without any return on their investment, apart from the 'Deluded One 🤡 that pocketed £800 million from the IPO (so its been said), as for the IPO at 500p, well Bernie Madoff's accountants would have been proud to have got away with that one, did they get their revenue and profit projections from the Robert Maxwell school of mathematics? JMO Adyor.. 🤣
Dark forces at play here today. For some bizarre reason I have now had 3 posts taken down :)
THG is interesting but alas for all the wrong reasons, the main one being the dysfunctional board of directors and how they choose to run the business and communicate with shareholders like you and I
Wise words from our learned North Korean dictator, who has higher moral standards than those who make up fibs to nick shares from private investors on the cheap
I think there are two distinct things at play here.
Is this share a nightmare for genuine long term holders? Yes. But there is no point being glass half empty about it, it doesn't help anyone.
The other part is about behaviour and how genuine people's intentions are. In my view these are two distinct things and calling out feverish bearing doesn't make one a blind bull that isn't aware of the situation our investment is in with this.
Dr Lao who deleted your post? Is Shiela/APH/Ste2k/Polish Cap sensitive to your suggestion that Marshall Wace might give him a list of FUD to post!! 😂
Ahh - APH01 to STE2000’s rescue 🤣🤣🤣
Keep watching the SP, tick tock, tick tock.
Sad really, you can't admit your short position - come on!
The last remaining remnants of what used to be a huge THG ramping gang 2 years back - now 4 old men. sad really
Just listened to a podcast, The Glassmoon, released this week interviewing Lord Allen… Main point is to say that he sounded very well and is fully active… no mention in his life story of THG yet but there are more episodes to come… You can find the podcast on Spotty…
Lets not forget he was long and ramping at £6 once upon a time. Do the opposite to what he says, you should do well
