Hi DG
It’s a double edges sword because what is attractive to the funders is expensive for the clients and visa versa, especially if we only want to deal with solvent companies.
Plus (and the report also highlights this) we are in a low interest environment which would make this more attractive for funders. Once the interest rate starts going up we will have more competition for those funds.
I had only given slight consideration to the macro economics of the model in my research but it might be a case of strike while the iron is hot. Between Brexit, COVID and low interest rates it’s an opportune moment that we need to capitalise on. Further down the line (say 5-10 years) we could need to completely re-work the model to keep it competitive, which to be fair you would expect anyway for a growing tech company.
@wolf
I knew that funding would be difficult but was comforted by the fact that institutions would not turn down a guaranteed 6-8% return. It might take longer than AZ realised but I'm pretty sure it's attractive enough to get them on board. That was my thinking at outset and over the months, all the signs point to there being an appetite for the platform from both clients and lenders. It's just a waiting game now (for PI's) and trusting that AZ has the team on board to get it over the line.
Squiddley, Yeah, but Bent1 and Holly aren't Samaritans, however much they tell us that they are. What they are instead are pond life trolls who'd mug their own granny's for a dime.
So, it must have.been mayhem with TW at the Troll HQ this morning!
Digesting the RNS and plotting your next moves huh!
Bet TW was busy busy, which is why we didn't hear from him for a while.
Anyway, he's emerged again now, so what's the plan,/tactics?
Damage limitation? I've noticed a troll trend this am encouraging people.to diversify more, not go all in (good advice on any normal.day) on any one share.
Is this an attempt to generate sells on opening ? A downsizing of Syme portfolios?
We shall see.
They’re are not necessarily concerns, especially if you believe in the model and can afford to lose.
I’ve got no time for JR, and I’m completely convinced his research has involved reading the work of others. That said I don’t like the thought of him being all in (which in itself is daft) and posters pumping the crowd and influencing without seemingly understanding what the company does and where we are at.
It’s disingenuous.
@wolf - these are valid observations/concerns. Most people here understand that until that first securitisation is announced, it is still a risk.
“Come on Syme, 165 clients as of Dec 2020, 2.1 billion euros monetarized”
Hughez - I know you mean well but I notice you keep mis-representing our position and you’re continually leading posters down the garden path.
This statement is nonsense. We haven’t got any clients (only a pool of interested parties) and we haven’t monetised anyone.
At the minute we haven’t secured any actual funding and the report is unequivocal that the failure to sign funders is the reason for the six months worth of delays. The report also goes onto say that failure to secure funding is one of our biggest risks.
So rather than misleading people and shouting from the rooftops .... sit down, take a breath and actually read the material the company has put out properly. Material that has been signed off by AZ and DW.
Bent1, haha, another Holly Samaritan.
You're NOT invested and couldn't give a monkeys what Syme investors do with their money. Utter tosh.

"I hold my hands up, I'm guilty of that on both counts, have invested virtually everything I have in here and are desperate for the sp to hit 30p at some point in the future."
Don't get me wrong as I would hate to see anyone take a bath over this, but I honestly wish that people would not throw the kitchen sink at one share. Its an incredibly risky approach in my opinion. I hope you get the chance to diversify.
robbo when i mean trolls im not talking about the guys who post negative here through a lack of understanding im talking about the small group of concerted posters here that have an agenda to try and bring down this company. i really dont want answers from them that wouldnt help in answering the question i had. oh and it was the first ever question i had asked in the group which will show you how dictatorial and controlling it is
"Full of people who have invested more than they should and are desperate for it to come good."
I hold my hands up, I'm guilty of that on both counts, have invested virtually everything I have in here and are desperate for the sp to hit 30p at some point in the future.
Fortunately after today's lovely update and what is to come I'm at least a chance of that happening at some point in time!
Lol cry me a River.
Rather one post than overexpose myself on a company and pray it comes good by ramping it up with thousands of posts and make myself feel better looking at a group that refuses to accept any risk.
ponkey quite the opposite. manager has threatened to get me blocked here as well as on telegram. that kind of proves my point that you cant say anything without bullying and harrassement. thats reall not a good environment to discuss shares. i could understand if i was negative on this stock and trying to spread fear but im quite the opposite. you really need to look at your own behaviours and ask if its healthy to not let anyone ask a genuine question
manager511 the case for the prosecution rests ...he's like an annoying blue bottle
Absolute echo chamber, if you suggest anything slightly negative you'll get accused of deramping and get blocked. I don't think it's wise to surround yourself with that. Full of people who have invested more than they should and are desperate for it to come good.
manager because i was answering the post made about me if thats ok with you. if it isnt well you will just have to suck it up. no im not going to post the question here as this forum is full of trolls
10009594, if your not going to post it here then why the f -- k are you still going on about it or posting anything here, your making no sense, I can see why they booted you off, your days will be numbered here if you carry on like this...
i wouldnt bother it really is a waste of space you werent learn anything much related
#syme
How do I find the group on Telegram? What’s it called?
Extrader / TW hasn’t posted anything yet. I bet he is just reading today's RNS line by line sweating with red face trying to find something ?
We are coming back on market with big RE-RATE!! I reckon extraordinary RNS before back to trading.
I have always maintained that TW is not the protector of AIM investors from bad companies, he actually exploits PI nervousness by targeting their specific stocks and costs PIs fortunes in the process whilst lining his own pockets...all IMO of course and WTFDIK anyway.
TW reading through accounts is perfectly acceptable. Problem is he won't be reading through the accounts with an open mind or even critical eye. It will be with a biased opinion to panic investors into losing money. #EUA #NOVACYT #previousmistakes
Some important statements I take from this morning’s RNS.
"The Group is now fully trading and not reliant upon share issues to continue in business."
[1] "Gross origination" includes all client companies that have signed an NDA, a term sheet, or are in or have completed the onboarding process.
Come on Syme, 165 clients as of Dec 2020, 2.1 billion euros monetarized .
Don't forget to add on the other 'fees' , due diligence, insurance, anything else ?
In AZ we trust!!
that maybe how u understood it but it was a perfectly valid question that i still didnt get a satisfactory answer for. i wont post it here for obvious reasons but if thats how your group acts quite frankly its a worthless group. discussion groups are to help investors and support each other not to belittle people. im not a newbie investor far from it but i did miss a vital point. still nobody answered what would happen in the circumstances i asked. just booted without warning. most of the thousand posts a day have very little to do with syme in any case. i am certainly no troll i have supported this company and its concept right from the beginning and massively invested.
The next RNS which is due, could be huge. Fingers, arms, legs, toes and everything crossed.
In the telegrams defense you just went on and on and on when peeps had gone out of their way to help you understand . all bb's have their pro's and cons but you were acting like a spoilt troll.
So cringey - https://ibb.co/NjyKz8f
