As has been pointed out many times, the biggest reason for a lot of people voting against is what the BOD plan on doing with the cash. This should not be 1 vote. They are wrapping up securing a lifestyle for themselves with actually securing the sale.
If all is true about Russia and this being the best offer possible, so be it. But that doesn't mean we have to vote for their absolutely dreadful plan with the cash. It's easier to change their plan with the cash than it is the deal with the buyer.

I can't vote for this deal until
a) it is confirmed how much and when dividends will be paid to shareholders
b) I see the TEO, which we all know has been completed
The document that informs us how much the mine is worth is being hidden from us and we're being told to accept a deal? Absolutely stinks

I sincerely doubt his intentions regarding Amur.

I also cannot fathom it.
"It is anticipated that portions of the second and third payments (totaling US$60 million) will be paid as dividends to the shareholders."
"Anticipated" means there's absolutely no guarantee of shareholders receiving a penny.
"Portions" means that even if we do get some payout, it could be half of this, or a quarter.
This is the worst deal for shareholders that I have seen in years. I genuinely can't see why you would vote for this, unless you have connections to the board who are going to drag their salary out for 10/15 years.

Isn't today 6 months from TEO submittal? Meaning it should have been released? That's got to be a factor if so

Oil_Beast, I really think we could be waiting a while. I firmly believe they only released that first RNS was due to the price movement, if it doesn't move drastically again, I think we could be waiting weeks.

This is Amur we're talking about, I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't hear anything for 3 weeks.

If the deal isn't done, it still shows interest.

Hi Everyone, apologies if this has been asked and answered many times over, I don't look here as much as I should but what is the current feeling as to why it's taking so long get the TEO information out? I've never felt like there could be a reason for this and the longer it goes on I'm not sure whether that's a good indicator or a bad one. Thanks

You really are in your own little bubble if you think the efforts on here are to get people to sell. You are going to lose a lot of money throughout your investing life.

The desperation and outright ramping on this board is ridiculous. This RNS deserves criticism for how the whole process was handled not celebrating the crumbs.
AZ is losing the confidence of multiple investors every time this happens and it needs to change.

What benefit do they get from doing it intraday instead of at 7am?

From someone who's been quite critical, if the SP holds at this level or increases any more and there's a good update by the end of this month then this really does have the chance shoot up significantly. If the news is underwhelming I can see this dropping back to previous levels.

@Amse, I'm not saying to save your money for another share, I think if a few things fall in the right direction for SYME this could be a multi-bagger, hence why I'm here. I agree with the rest of your post though, there are ridiculous targets generated on crumbs of news which do more harm than good.

Shock, I was right, the SP will bleed until news of any substance is put out. The Q&A didn't actually answer anything. Apart from the day this was unsuspended, the SP has fallen on over 3% almost every day it's been trading this year. Where are the 1p EOW predictions now?
