Congratulations guys for gthe well behaved board.
Totally agree the comments on the website, but, whatever the circumstances, the communication has been indefensible, especially despite promises.
Sids Law that the assassination came just as there was strength in other metals stocks.
Unless you need to sell (and you should never put yourself at risk like that), I am unowrried about the SP.
As with my own experience as a quoted GFD...when the shares are tightly held and there is little liquidity, the shares will continually drift without either meaningful news or specific buying interest, such as Jiangxi buying more.
So patience needed, but whats new...?
"Smart and Fast..." Bob?
That was last October after the shares had goe from 13+ to 17p...
The only reassurance is that these guys are hurting far more than we are...especially Nick...
Good morning addicknt.
I suspect Copperpot's source that without a JV we go it alone, is Scott in the last presentation who said just after slide 13 if we cannot get a partner, then we go it alone.
Couldn't be clearer.
Hi Add, I can't say anything about my source buddy, only that they 100% do not work for Solg.
Re the website........has it crossed anyone's thoughts that there "may" be a name change coming?
See you next week.
Also adikt if copperpot had a trusted source in solg. Don't you think the source would of told him to dump his shares, instead of watching his mates fortune dwindle from 50p to 14p.
Nothing, I repeat nothing he says, like quadys expertise on all subjects stands up to scrutiny.
If you had a source in solg, who gave you inside information, would you tell all and sundrie on a public forum what you'd been told.
No of course you wouldnt
You’re all getting a little bit emotional and melodramatic if you ask me, what will be will be by this point if you’re loaded and worried about your investment then cut your losses and sell if you’re comfortable with the risk then wait but shouldn’t be much longer in the scheme of solgold timescales
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!!
Adikt. What is the matter with you. He has no source. Do you honestly think he would betray his sources confidentiality on an open forum.
The same as his move to Ireland. He's feeding of the gullible. Don't be that man, for God's sake think
Copper, who is your source?
DM, yes, you do wonder why they bothered to announce that a new web site was on the way, particularly as nothing appears to have happened. Just yet another example of delivery failure. They should have learnt to keep quiet by now. Having said that, and to repeat my question, why do we need a new web site?
The shares are fairly being dumped all because of no communication
As I have already explained Dinnermoney, website is irrelevant and redundant in solgolds case buddy why waste any time and money on something that will not exist in about 3 months time. End of Sept mid October this will start to move up again . Elections hopefully sorted and new heads are mining friendly but as we know all candidates that are pro mining are sitting in the box seat
Once again quady bearing in mind solg is your first mining stock. What makes you an expert on mining joint ventures.
Quady. Your delusional if you thing solg will be the senior partner.
Once again your showing your complete lack of understanding. There has not been an exploration company in history that's come out on top in a jv.
I 100% agree with adikt. It would be a disaster. Put google away and think about it.
Good morning Add, if the terms of an JV are not acceptable.....we go alone. We are not and will not "block cave" from the onset. I'm sure NM, SC etc etc have a better idea on how to proceed than all of us put together.
I suggest we wait for news from the horses mouth. Still October for news I'm hearing.
DBW, yes, you'd hope a new web site would reflect some major news, because what would be the point otherwise? Unless it's a job creation scheme for a couple of our local employees - given they've got nothing else to do?
Q, if we end up going down this route I very much hope you're right. Unfortunately, I just can't see it.
Hi Add good points well made .
One wonders if the interminable delay with the website is due to a holdup with any such announcement
Good morning addicknt.
I don't believe it's the same.
GGP ended up selling 70% might now be 75% of Haveron to NCM.
We would be the senior partner, because however this pans out, we are looking at various ways to fund Cascabel.
Including offtake.
Take into account this is going to be staged, the start up costs will be a fraction of what has been talked about in the past.
As we extract the ore, we will become self funded.
If you are a reader of the GGP bb you will note the disquiet some people are expressing with regard to their jv partners, NCM. From an outsiders perspective it does seem that GGP have been jerked around by NCM.
For me, this is an object lesson in why we should not enter into a jv with a mining major.
Despite the good words which would inevitably accompany the announcement of a deal, we would always be on the back foot and subject to the whims of a much larger player. Of course, it would depend upon the structure, but given the relative strengths it's difficult to see how we could negotiate a good deal.
Others will have a different perspective, but from my point of view we should avoid falling into what initially may appear to be an attractive option but which would eventually end in tears.
On a separate note, the only concrete thing SC said at the conference related to ongoing negotiations concerning four tenements. Other than demonstrating we can actually deliver something, I don't think this will be of any real significance to us. I just wish they'd get on with it and get it out of the way, because as it stands, it's merely a distraction.
Copperpot. As you can see by my previous posts this morning. Ref I'll informed posts, and contradictory claims to be firstly a novice in mining, then rwo weeks later an expert.
All your daily hysterical calls to filter all who challenge this rubbish do, is encourage more posting for the likes of the gullible to cling onto
Quady. Your july post.
27 Jul 2023 06:53
Good morning addicknt, as you are aware this is my first mining share,
Quady. Your 8th Aug post below shows you have a perceived extensive knowledge of minining.
Where did you gain this knowledge so quickly.
At the end of July you told adikt solg was your first mining stock. You must be one of those quick learners. To be an expert on block caving so quickly.
Good on you.
Mining by access decline can be done in two different ways.
Really all this is, is tunneling to the parts you want to mine, and using a matrix of cuts to blast and recover the ore.
However if we are going to a block cave operation at a later date, I am surprised that we are talking about this.
It can be done, but has to be planned in advance.
Maybe this is another version of the PFS
Quady just another one of your blockbuster replies to my concern.
"Needalife you really do talk some utter tosh.
Every country in the world has risks, but as someone who has travelled a bit in his life, often crime is aimed at tourists, as they don't stay around long, so tend not to testify."
Quady. Just a gentle reminder of your expert analysis from last week.
"Still talking tosh needalife.
It takes all you said into account.
Ecuador is still the fifth safest country in South America, and when you consider that a large part of the current violence is over Lasso it is considerably safer."
We all remember what happened, within weeks went back up to 22p and there was more negativity around the stock than there is now. I have seen reported today that there is a lot of positivity and determination to go ahead with the initial elections in a couple of weeks time, if nothing else good interim opportunity to turn around a quick profit before the big news …
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS 👆
200,000000 shares, and adikt tells us he no longer has anything to do with the running of solg.
I think you will actually find, with mathers alleged personality, scotty boy, does exactly as his told. Hence no change
