Well said Italian!
Its great fun reading it though Italian, grown men and woman behaving badly on an anonymous BB. Everything and every poster needs to be taken with a large pinch of salt lolzzz,
Like any single one of you, however you may think of yourselves as the next coming after Warren Buffet, I have no idea how to really trade otherwise I would be like one of my hedge fund friends trading in the Billions and would not be here discussing with you.
Instead we are all here, and this is nothing more than an after-work club, and we don't even know who everyone else really is.
So really, stop pontificating about how you are right, everyone else is wrong, who can and cannot say what, who is entitled to share an opinion and who is not.
All in all, even if some of us make some money, we are just a bunch of amateurs in this game.
It's good to share, just don't overdo it and with contempt for the other participants.
Let's enjoy this please!
Red you think they are holding the price down to let a big buyer get in?
1 Trade - holding RNS tomorrow? Something even better?
Steve you make a fair point.
Quady you always seem to put people down you might be more able than most but my dad always showed humility to others when he was a very talented man himself saying that I do admire your ability to be invested and not that bothered were the SP is calmness is a real virtue I for one although I was taught it's vulgar to talk about money think I'm being a hypocrite here hope red knight makes a killing guess it's the buzz why otherwise do we watch programs like who wants to be a millionaire
"I'm beginning to think you should have to take a small exam on how trades work before you can post on here"
Oh dear, that'd rule me out straightaway. Haven't got a fecking clue.
At it again...41 consecutive Algo "Sells" at 18.20...
Simples...copper down 7% in less than a week...
Was firmly bid at 34840 :-)
Correct Redknight you don't know what's holding down the bid.
Auto trades are the majority of shares on nearly every index around the world.
No one is holding this down it's just low volumes.
I am beginning to think you should have to take a small exam on how trades work before you can post on this site.
Ortherncopper yes I can only use my own experience when I came across an unmodernised property in Fulham and couldn't understand why it hadn't been bought it turned out sellers and various developer's had fallen out and 6 months later when I came across it sellers were weary and previous guys had moved on to other projects and I payed a little less than previous developer offered and gave me a terrific return shows luck and timing is always the secret maybe BHP are just as knackered as long term holders !
Going to add another £6.4k
Hopefully won't be holding as long as my other batches
I though AGM resolutions would have been this morning.
I am not so utterly convinced BHP see Solg as any kind of priority. They have not shown much of any rush to buy Solg, or even JV Cascabel over the last few years.
Despite many people here predicting it constantly for years, BHP have moved on companies elsewhere over that time.
It’s long overdue that Solg move on, away from BHP. Just a shame it’s taken Cornerstone people to get a grip of the situation and move it forward.
There must be a raft of news to come in over the next few weeks, in the run up to AGM, that can at least get us to a barely respectable mid 20s share price.
I know this is a point of contention for many so you can only go with your own thoughts but at the end of the day the auto bots are pre programmed by humans so I think it is very easy for a number of small sells to constantly knock back any attempted rise in the sp
Good question Steve...
And I'd like the 'experts'to explain whats going on when there are 11 consecutive Autotrade of 2000/2500 at 18.46, which just happens to be the bid...if thats not holding the SP down I don't know what is...?
Red knight It would make me feel better about dark forces like norges and black rock not in bed with majors and can the SP be held back to let them reverse there position because I hear people say it's not possible to fiddle the price
Its true what you sat DBW...apart from stumping up the initial cash and later issues, they've been nothing but trouble and actively disruptive.
I don't accept the journos implication that BHP/NCM/Norge/Blackrock have acted as a concert party, I simply believe that the latter two were rightl concerned with the appalling corporate governance, which could at that time be laid at Twigger/Mathers door...
Twigger wasn't up for re-election so NM copped the lot and a 44% protest vote...
Bid for 300k again...this guy won't let go...
And I don't think they have to notify SOLG (who then post the RNS/TR1) until the order is complete...
In the meantime, while its holding the SP back, its also stopping it from falling back into the 17s...
19.06 paid today...20day MA cut the 50 day MA...minor breakout at 18.78 not sustained but fingers crossed...
Red I’m pretty sure they do want it …. Just think they wanted to help themselves rather than pay up for something that’s been put on a plate for them.
The most resonating comment for me was
“This is a case study for junior miners as to why you wouldn’t want these guys involved in your project”
Same journo who said
"there’s bound to be a time in the next few months when its two big Australian shareholders will have to decide how much they want Cascabel.
If it’s a bit, then the two shareholders will have to tip into an equity raising and try to maintain the status quo.
But if it is a lot, like some analysts suspect, then we could see a pair of Australian heavyweights in a ding-dong battle."
Playing into the 'joint BHP/NCM takeover bid for SOLG nostrum...
Total respect Steve...everybody's commitment is relative to their means...
I knew people who lost their entire pensions in SXX...that is NOT going to happen here...
redknight, I know it was, but the journalist wrote that in the context of an interview with Sangha, who for all intents and purposes is now calling the shots, along with the rest of the 'little guys' contingent.
You know my view DBW...first bid triggers a bidding war...unless its a knockout bod of say 125p...
