Same here Ice, I was thinking of unix, But you see my point, if anything does go wrong, then the last entry just doesn't get updated, and yes the content is out of date, but as soon as the outage is fixed, then it's back in sync.
Believe it or not quady but I've written more Unix shell scripts than I would ever want to write in a life time, lpar server, hp unix, .sh files, kick ing of Oracle SPs, DB replication , autosys jobs polling for trigger files. Etc.
But it won't stop the trolls from pouncing on any delays,
During the early days, Solgold tried to use the "Rig to Resource" technique, but it never worked, read back through some of the presentations from 2014 or so
Not at all Ice, if the application fails, or the database goes down, or the server crashes that has the database on it. The web page just shows the last data, until its fixed.
That's the beauty of shell scripting, and passing the arguments across.
That kind of real time data causes problems, a glitch in the datafeed and there will be 100 trolls saying the hole has collapsed or the rig has broke.
I am happy for the company to release when they think it's appropriate.
*enough
Thank you very much RS5hedgefund, that's what I call technology, you have an app for these drills, and can look at depth, and other data.
Solgold should use this app, load the results into a database of their choosing, and then write an interface to there website.
Shell script, using the database, to extract the depth say every 10 minutes, and present live data, on a page on their website, so that we can see the drill location and current depth and anything else, they want to show.
Back in the single pence days when we didn’t have any money.
I saw that and thought well if it’s good enough for the drill company it’s good enjoy for me and fortunately topped up around then too. What I hadn’t taken on board we were at the time nearly out of money and broke. How times have changed!
Thank you Aquinaga, I didn't know that.
Thank you FatherTedFeck, It was an idea/
Quady we even paid some of their bills with our shares in the past!

They're private.
Thank you Mrshiba and Padmaster, Just listened to the BRR media interview.
Does anyone know which company Solgold buys or leases it's drill rigs from, as I want to buy shares in them.
Hi Miagi, one pound has always looked cheap. for Alpala alone.
Remember we only have drilled one hole.
In my book, £1 has started to look awfully cheap all of a sudden. It's all hands on deck at BHP; the acquisitions advisor is in pleading , as has done so many times before, with the CEO to let him pull the trigger this month...
could be much higher at shallower depths than Alpala, I particularly enjoyed reading this bit form todays RNS.
"The dominant copper sulphide mineral observed to date is chalcopyrite, an important ore-forming copper sulphide mineral containing 34.5% copper. Chalcopyrite mineralisation has been observed from 15.9m to the current depth of 525.3m. Detailed core logging, to a depth of 491.0m, shows chalcopyrite percentages of up to an estimated 6.0 % by volume with associated porphyry style total quartz vein abundance of up to a measured 11.7 % by volume.

bring it on..... £1 for the lot at this stage... could be a real possibility to start the ball rolling..
