I have too just sent yet another very strong email again to my MP asking for immediate analysis of relevant departments. I encourage anyone else too.
sent
Comfort yourself with what it might have been like under Corbyn!!
Other possibilities, Andrew Neill, Eamon Holmes or how about Kay Burley at Sky. If any of you know your MP personally its worth making appointment (virtual probably) at his or her surgery
Very good point. Better to ask your MP to pass enquiry to Minister responsible rather than the department. Then you will hear from hin or her rather than a civil servant.
Thanks
I understand now.
Disappointing
I will write off to my MP again tomorrow. Writing directly to the govt. is useless. Good to do but just ignored. Via MP they are legally obliged to take it up.
I always get a response-3 months was a joke from health dept. though.
I have been increasingly concerned that i-b is not being used . Here or abroad. If genuinely true it is culpable terminal neglect. Getting governments to do things is a f....... nightmare. Been at it for 25 years at least. People might be shocked if they knew the true laziness and incompetence at work. It has to be done via MP’s and even then you are often fobbed off. But not to do anything and just moan is worse. Email local MP and ask for it to be passed to dept of health and social welfare. My MP was fairly shocked at my suggestion that i-b might not be in use. He already knew of it as a cancer drug.
The govt. have ( in my opinion) handled covid utterly incompetently from the start -and some of its directives ( especially intra-hospital prioritising of victims) is never to be forgiven and this is just another example. I-b saves lives. There is no excuse whatsoever for that.
Rant over. Sorry. I have held many many shares and still do so am not random but it is my first re-visit of lse chatsite for a long time. I find too much aggression.
Anyway...if there is anything positive out there I would love to hear it. I am once again heavily heavily in the red and watching the puppetmasters play with the share.
It is worth far more than 83p. They want it there.
They announced on the 28th of May that the recruitment of the hospital trial had been completed. We had the results just over 7 weeks later. I am expecting a similar time frame for the home trial. If they announce that it has been filled tommorow we are looking at the middle/end of Jan for the topline data to be announced.
No they are still trying to recruitethe 120 patients needed for the trial. When the last patient was dosed in the hospital trial they informed us by RNS. It then took a 2 week follow up of the patients before the trial was complete. Then we had about a 5 week review of the data before we were informed of the results. Onnce we get an RNS stating the trial is full we are looking at about 7 weeks before we get given the topline data. The home trial has not been supported by the government hence the poor take up.
Fired off a question to the blonde buffoon. Don’t expect anything back but it made me feel a bit better.
In my ignorance again:- is there a window of time regarding home trial dara results and analysis ?
I can certainly plug this.
Btw
Vaccines are the only way out.
But 001 saves lives. We have months of this left . 001 could never be an preventitive answer -but if it saved 100% of lives it could be argued as an answer I would moot. What would there be to fear from covid?
Hey I’m very happy to be wrong on any point.
If I undeserstimated RM then I am fully wrong. I am now put right if people tell me he has done all he can. Sorry at my presumption. Obviously unwarranted.
As I am involved heavily in many matters in politics and as an ( ex) member of the Cons. I can honestly say with some conviction that incompetence does reign in most government departments though and for me to have to send them the Lancet article is quite a joke to me when the NHS at grass roots are fighting from the heart. I still recommend getting in touch via emailing your MP though.
I do know what I am talking about here at least.
Sorry again if I offended anyone and RM himself through my own ignorance of the facts.
I would be interested in finding out what it is that Richard should have done or has not done?
But I'm with you in general Doc and have found it frustrating how people on here seem annoyed that vaccines are top of the agenda. I mean come on, vaccines are the only route out of this pandemic - sng001 is not!!!
crl123 - what about trying Piers Morgan? I'm sure he'll jump at the opportunity. If they, GMB, do a piece on Synairgen it would be great coverage including awareness of the home trial.
crl123 - RM went on Bloomberg and Sky!? I mean how much more marketing do you think he can do down in Southampton - I think that is pretty impressive personally. All this "no one knows about SNG" is a myth, the government has chosen to ignore it up front because they cannot actively support something that is still in actual trials to prove it's worth. I get the point others have been fast tracked but this is due to big pharma influence, sadly we do not have that at present - of which most are being discredited as they go. RM and SNG doing the right thing get the Phase 3 locked in, full unquestionable results after peer reviews and BOOM - you cannot argue with the science and were off and running big time. This is the way to go, we just have to stomach the shorting crew earning their tuppence on the way through the mist. That's investing, that is AIM sadly.
Boris and his buddies ****ed up big time and looks like will get away with mass murder...
SNG is not 100% recovery in all patients. You would have to analyse the data. The Lancet is a good place to start.
Regarding the unbelievable scandal of the government neglect of Sngoo1 I have personally written to the Dept of Health and Social Care via my MP ..twice in fact. Only last week I wrote a scathing letter concerning neglect of I-beta and even sent them the Lancet article of 13th November.
My July letter took 3 months to get a reply . Outrageous. Who knows what will ( not) happen here. The govt. is riddled with incompetence..we just don’t see it ( until Boris comes on stage!)
Yes I fully agree that everyone here should email their MP and get onto the Dept. for Health and social Security re. this. It’s not just about our money ( I still hold many SNG but sadly on a loss now)....it is about human neglect. Over 2,450 deaths yesterday in US and over 650 in UK. Why???
Ultimately it is not just the govt. though.
If Richard Marsden does not market 001 effectively then it is all down to him. The Placing gave them lovely Option money but they have a duty to downright market and sell 001. The disgrace is theirs if they do not as thousands more are going to pass away this winter!!!
I've dropped BoJo a line. Let's see what happens now. Cue Han**** trumpeting around the effectiveness of Great British SNG001 tomorrow on BBC1...
I thought it was 100% recovery using SNG001. The 79% relates to the speed of recovery. I may be wrong and if so happy to be corrected
https://email.number10.gov.uk/
I feel we should email on mass, ask why the government are not supporting Synairgen. Over 600 deaths a day and SNG001 has shown it can prevent 79% of these people ever becoming seriously ill. It’s a national scandal.
