Re Dumbpunter's comment on RNS 20 July
'>>SNG shows 79% success rate.
During treatment.
By day 14 and onto day 28 there was no difference between treatment and placebo.
>>What has made you completely change your opinion since then?
That.'
Surely by day 14 of treatment then most people had either recovered and ready for discharge or gone into ICU or died. If 79% of SNG treated patients had improved by then which is what is implied that only leaves 21% that appeared not to benefit from the treatment but may also have recovered. They certainly would be less likely to start to benefit from the treatment after the dosing had finished. Therefore I don't think you need to attach too much importance to this sentence. It may be merely showing that the drug showed no safety concerns after completion of treatment and also perhaps that the effectiveness ceased after treatment was concluded which is perhaps not particularly surprising .
Since the full results have not been published or peer reviewed I don't think we have adequate information to form a conclusion. I do however understand your query.
I would be happy to hear other interpretations.

Eva ,
I am ignoring your commentary but as always support levels can be broken and resistance levels can be shattered ...This is SNG on AIM ....
The market giveth and the market taketh away ....
Everyone to their trades and convictions ...
And its SAFE
Well said Nolupus! Good to see ya!
Dumpunter, "There is now no more certainty that SNG will succeed than before the 21 July, with the added issue of losing 6months. The current share price is way too high for a unapproved drug with no evidence of its efficacy."
There's a huge difference between now and pre-hospital results as the hospital results weren't expected to be as strong as earlier treatment (at home). Current market value is c.270 million which is pretty fair value for a drug that could treat Covid in hospital and home. Not to mention COPD and many other applications.
We all get a bit twitchy when the SP gets eroded but it’s the science which we should be following and not the SP , IMO
We are testing the 160 support level for the moment and we just have to be patient ...
Woodstock, with current interest rates your money is far better in stocks that paying off a mortgage.
Woodstock chap, I can’t see your logic there?

Updownwinlose. No disrespect but if you have a mortgage, you really should not be investing on the stockmarket.
Dumb, I believe you participated in the rights issue? What has made you completely change your opinion since then?
I invested my cash in SNG,
Wonder in March what the price will be,
It could go like a rocket,
Put cash in my pocket,
I hope to be mortgage free!
Off topic but I buy gold bullion. The gold can placed in safe custody. Not much good as currency in Waitrose but I have seen incredible gains in gold prices in last 18 months.
Not worried at Sng sp going down. Seen this price activity a lot in the past.
Great post JSP123 :-)
I know the feeling, last few days have been a bloodbath. However patience is always the key and taking the long view.
What is great about this BB is the spectrum of differing views and the moments that are interspersed with good humour.
I'm missing the SNG songs...…………….Soz, must focus on my losses yesterday. GLA all.
Henk12 I remember averaging 55p on SNG when it fell to 35p. It can be frustrating but I think the risk reward on this is worth it. Who knows it may drift down to 140s where is was a couple of weeks ago . In my mind I have seen Covid test shares achieve £12.00 so what price SNG if / when phase 3 proves successful. Last few days has been tough on all shares. 22 of my 23 shares were red yesterday £60k paper profits gone. Patience is key unless you are good enough/ brave enough to trade. Alas I am not so just hold. Have faith and keep well. I think that by March next year this share could be life saving and life changing. Just my own thoughts and not advice of course.
I’m much rather be in this than any mining stock. Going back a hundred years they’ve always been a pray and hope investment. Even the Klondike gold rush didn’t make 99% of miners money. It was the people who provided services to the people flocking there such as hoteliers and restaurants. DYOR.
I’m happy - had asked for over my allocation and had the spare cash sat there waiting. Now I’ve deployed it at 161.01 so 15p below offer. Happy days. This placing ensures the company is funded to get the approval it needs and send the price to where it will make us all money. I sh it out of this share before At 58p I’ll admit, but I’ll not make the same mistake twice.
nice comment mr big ...scum?? really ??? pfff
Wow.
We have just had £80million invested into the company at 175p. This drop is inconsequential.
We know that this drug works on respiratory diseases as has been proven time and time again. I will repeat again.
The data shows:
It works in the LAB
It works in ASTHMA patients
It works in COPD patients
It works in COVID patients.
Covid has accelerated the development of this drug enabling it to get through a phase 2 and 3 trials within a 12 month period. This just does not happen in the pharma world!
Stay patient, ignore the noise and wait for phase 3 to complete. If you want a quick return try a junior gold explorer!
Eva was right on the slide to 175, and then some, surprising many. On the same basis (and off-topic) what's the chance of Rolls Royce getting to 32p I wonder.
Don't like deramping scum.
henk, It is not unusual for a share to dip below the placing price, in fact the last placing was 40p and the price dropped 20% below. Too many on here have no patience or are over exposed.
henk12 - I wouldn't worry too much about new IIs (the ones who got in at 175) selling off soon. They have done their due diligence and they play to win, not to make a few dollars on day/short term trading. IIs always account for short-term losses if they are getting involved.
In terms of my losses -yes, agree with you, getting angry but holding.
I wouldn’t be too happy atm if I had , that’s for sure ! Hopefully it comes good for those who did though!!
Gla !!!
The whole market slipped over the last few days.
The news flow around covid could well begin to feed into the covid stocks that have good fundamentals, such as SNG. (I’m reluctant to call this a ‘covid’ stock, but that is how lots see it and what will drive the SP in the short and medium term)

Sell and move on.
No stock is more important than your mental health.
Also, if you are going to sell your open offer stock because they dipped 5% on the next day after you received them, you might be better off playing scratch cards, than playing the stock market.
Green bin fed for the day.
The SP has now been slipping for days I assume the investors that have bought in at 175 will not be happy and will start selling soon as well probally the same with all the retail investors that have subsribed to the 175 open offer, the SP is almost 10% below the open offer that is not a good sign in my opinion. The company is loosing momumtem big time and investor confidence unfortunately. I hope not to many of you have accepted the open offer. my profits are slowly fading away ....
