My mistake -
Results of the General Meeting and the Open Offer announced - 2nd November
Admission of the Conditional Placing Shares and the Open Offer Shares to trading on AIM and commencement of dealings - 4th
Where applicable, expected date for CREST accounts to be credited in respect of Conditional Placing Shares and Open Offer Shares in uncertificated form - 4th
We're not expecting anything further until after the 4th November. The bulk of the placing is conditional so no additional money is available until then (the 15m firm placing share monies are already in). We will receive confirmation of placing and following that we should have some TR1s.
I suspect as part of the placing confirmation or shortly thereafter we will also here confirmation of IND submission plus any other relevant news. Things are obviously on-going - regardless we are in dead space until the placing is officially completed next week (which may then be fun).
David Barnes,
Don't talk nonsense, We cant start the trials until after the AGM when the share placing is approved. Nothing more We have thousands of doses, This is detailed in the RNS when we will only switch provider during the trial.
What’s clear is there wasn’t enough physical stock to run a big trial, which is why we got dropped. The government should have invested at that point ( as they did with the vaccines), instead we had to rely on the accelerated bookbuild to fund the step up in manufacturing. Given that RM said manufacturing slots were severely restricted by vaccine manufacturing requirements, I suspect this is still limiting us. We literally can’t start the trials until November as we don’t have the quantities of stock available.
Scinv - my understanding is, and please correct me if wrong, is that when FDA gives you guidance it is to help the approval process. Otherwise, what's the point? Maybe it's just my wishful thinking but why would they bother with SNG if, after being presented with current data, FDA thought it was all a fool's errand. Maybe i am wrong.
Again, appreciate your frustration , same here, don't think this is a slam dunk at all and unsettled by the trend last couple of days - clearly shares are being sold-off and trying to work out why. Want to see who else is getting involved, in terms of IIs, as soon as possible.
Emailed my MP this morning.
ChrisToffer thank you for that. Agreed that focusing on promoting the Home Trial is a must at the moment & a practical step we can all do.

Hi Andy, every little helps of course and I do all I can to let everyone and anyone know about the home trial.
I guess highlighting the injustice of other treatments getting a 'leg-up' is OK if it comes from the investor base (or elsewhere). We should remember though; the company's integrity in following the approval process and not seeking outside influence contributes to the strength of the data set and ultimately, when approval is gained, should leave fewer (if any) question marks like we're seeing with Remdesivir.
Scinv - it's in the RNS (placing RNS). I still trust RNS - especially when putting information in writing.
Apologies double posted after original reappeared after shutdown:)
option 3
Thoughtful and accurate ChrisToffer as always.
My issue remains that we cannot simply roll our eyes and accept the massive unfounded first to market advantage being bestowed on a competitor.
SNG lacks any depth of recognition and I believe Pmjh and others are correct in saying we need to help in a concerted manner. Sitting on our hands and allowing others a distinct unfair advantage doesn’t cut it for me.
I believe SNG is now better focussed to deliver but also at every appropriate opportunity we should seek to shine a very bright light on the absurdity which is bing conducted in plain sight.
Scinv - clearly the noise was loud enough for IIs to drop 80m GBP into this. Also for FDA to give it's blessing for Phase III. So there is probably some fire in addition to a lot of smoke clearly. But yes, uneasy that peer review or any kind of 3rd party seal of approval hasn't happened yet, you're right there. I guess we have to choices, as always: hold or sell. Or, option number 3: top-up?
ChrisToffer you are absolutely correct balanced an thoughtful as usual.
My point and I think what pmjh is saying is that we need to be smart and try to exert some influence on helping SNG.
We are of course not operating in a vacuum and when Remdesivir enjoys massive unfounded investment and First to market advantage that does affect our potential success.
I think collectively we need to do whatever we can to get SNG recognised and discussed on mainstream media. I Also believe that in those efforts we should also be shining a bright light on our competitors when they are winning the race with little or no clinical benefit to the sick people relying them.
I just think just rolling our eyes and moving on isn’t going to cut it.
Political influence aside, the bottom line is that Remdesivir has little to no effect on disease progression. I suspect the question marks over it's use (and cost) will continue for a long time yet. Yesterday was a blood bath across the markets and there remains very little in place to fight this awful virus.
SNG continue to go about their business in the correct manner whilst the unmet demand for treatments like SNG001 continues to rise. It's only a matter of time until their approach is vindicated.
Wow antofelli could it be any worse!
Doesn’t this void any contract and shouldn’t the EU be chucking the stuff in the bin and asking for a full refund then seeking damages ?
So why are we using Remdesivir in UK hospitals when independent evaluation that should have taken place has been bypassed?
Why are we using and paying for Remdesivir as a treatment of choice in UK hospitals when the WHO evaluation was low to questionable benefit and a published Chinese study showed it to have zero benefit?
Questions perhaps for the good folk pulling the strings ?
Thanks Dafad this confirms what I have been saying.
I watched Remdesivir two days ago being talked about in a Welsh hospital as a treatment of choice on a news item.
It has been rolled out in UK hospitals with a spectrum of benefit somewhere between low to useless. It is here affectively having been pushed through the back door without normal evaluation or process by a Trump stooge.
This really is a bloody scandal. Our own offering SNG, was booted off a fast track evaluation here in favour of an antibiotic.
This is a bloody corrupt SCANDAL!
Nothing less and all the various complaints on here like this is ‘strange’ or ‘feels like we are being overlooked’ that’s because it is and we are
I think it’s apparent this is making me a bit cross, time to mobilise and get vocal folks now it clear what we are up against. Filthy!
