I see such a listing as facilitating growth and expansion but agree time would be best spent at present on increasing contracts.
I'd rather the management concentrate on execution and growth rather than a listing on Nasdaq. It would be too distracting and given the companies past ability to trip over they own laces a recipe for......well you know. Ultimately it is an option though.
The TFL trial is very disappointing.....air escaping from ballon. Just goes to highlight until the contract is signed and RNS announced nothing is in the bag despite the best efforts of budding Sherlock H on the board....
Not yet I believe. Give it another year I say.
The requirements are
A minimum of 300+ shareholders.
Total assets of $4,000,000.
At least two market makers.
$3 minimum bid price of the company stock.
Nasdaq stocks seem to take future potential earnings more into consideration and has better rep than AIM.
I saw it happen with GWP, went from AIM to Nasdaq with a 20x increase in mcap. I regret the 200% profit i took from that.
I'm not going to build my hopes for announcements at results. Flying to London doesn't necessarily mean anything. I'll not discount it as an option but I'm certainly not going to predict it happening.
I can't see there being any massive drops in these results either. Funding should be free and clear for a little while yet. Fleet predictions are stupidly low and we know that they have been winning contracts here, enough to more than cover the numbers and also this area is somewhat trackable.
We've had wins in automotive and nobody else is winning anything so nothing to drop there. Expectations are low across the board so I think these results are 'safe'.
If we do ask about licensing I don't think we should lead with 'we are worried about dilution' the reason being they won't answer the question. They will palm it off with funding is OK for now, we'll look at all options in the future if we need to refinance.
Just need to be careful how these things are worded and presented. They need to be very specific questions that are difficult to spin/palm off.
Is our market cap big enough to float on nasdaq though? And what benefits would that lead to our sp?
Just throwing out ideas -
Poor marketing of SEE - why? Look at SEE Twitter today. We have a tweet about news from 2 weeks ago (OAP trial). Why? That's just crap. Who's in charge of marketing the company?
i'm hoping for announcement of intention to float on Nasdaq.
It will happen sooner or later...
Schlemiel I’m with you on this one. I really think they have something up their sleeve. I feel their going to release something that’s not expected to the market otherwise two questions:
1) why fly from Canberra to London to do a webcast?
2) why hold a investors day 6 weeks later to hear the full wrath of investors if they release pi** poor results?
I’m hoping they will do something on Monday to show the market who we really are. PM better not fluff his shot at the open goal. (Also where has kk gone)
tm
Yes, maybe. I'm more intrigued as to why they're flying all this way from Canberra to London? I hope PM's something up his sleeve to hit the market with cos any disappointment and this will get hammered and I along with many others don't want that to happen. Indeed it cannot happen
Schlem
Thats one question i guess for webinar?
I wonder if SEE decided to withdraw of their own volition, deciding it simply wasn't economic to get totally involved? It's important SEE do not overstretch themselves and focus on contracts that deliver commercial value. Signing contracts for the sake of doing so is never an intelligent strategy to adopt
that's disappointing
I think you're right esco
I guess they have to look at all options or questions would be asked. I also assume the reason SEE is not being trialled is they already know it works from the trams and need to see if these are a. as good or better and b. of course, cheaper.
Infra red camera apparently. never heard of of Datik though

Looks like these folks are trying something else instead of SEE (Datik instead). I don't get it

Nice one. Can’t imagine them to use anyone else’s DMS if they’ve already seen how good our tech is in the trams. If this gets implemented in all buses this could be massive.
This is from Jan-2019. I reckon it's a given.
http://content.tfl.gov.uk/raib-recommendations-update-january-2019.pdf
'Recommendation 4:UK tram operators, owners and infrastructure managers should work together to research and evaluate systems capable of reliably detecting driver attention state and initiating appropriate automatic responses if a low level of alertness is identified. Suchresponses might include an alarm to alert the tram driver and/or the application of the tram brakes. This recommendation was addressed using available technology in October 2017. Working with Trams Operated Limited (TOL), TfL implemented a Driver Protection Device (manufactured by Seeing Machines). Also known as ‘Guardian’, this device uses advanced sensors and image processing technology to track the micro-movements of the driver’s eyes, facial expressions and head to identify fatigue and distraction events. When an event is detected, the driver receives an immediate in-cab audible alarm and in the case of fatigue events, a physical seat vibration alert designed to restore the driver to an alert state.London Trams and TOL are the first public transport owner/ operator team to implement the Guardian device on trams. This device has been commended by the ORR and has been shared and demonstrated to the UK Tram industry for possible implementation on other tram networks. This system is designed to detect driver inattentiveness and provide an alert, but does not, itself, apply the brakes, as suggested as an option in the recommendation. As detailed in recommendation three, an automaticbraking systemhas been procured and will be installed by the end of 2019 as a separate measure.Research work being undertaken by UK Trams is exploring what an appropriate automatic responsewould beif a low level of driver attentiveness is detected, such as the application of brakes. TfL will review this research to ensure the system in use is compatible with the outcomes'
B, the 2018 investor day included a site visit at Croydon trams
# Team300
Did we get an RNS to state that our tech is being used in the Croydon trams and by the tfl?
Guardian was approved for use by the UK's ORR (Office of Rail and Road) -
'We protect the interests of rail and road users. We are improving the safety, value and performance of railways and roads, today and in the future.
Our railway health, safety, economic and road functions overall are driven by UK and EU legislation. We are accountable to Parliament and the public to protect the people who use, interact or work on the railway; ensure fair access to a rail network which is becoming increasingly congested; ensure Highways England delivers its major programme of investment and other performance commitments; and protect the interests of future users by working with the industry and funders as they develop the network of tomorrow.'

It's a huge endorsement for our system by the British government. SEE does appear to have top notch contacts with national governments
Interesting that the TFL program is called 'Vision Zero' - This is what the EU program is called 'Vision Zero and Safe System approach'
Momentum nicely building for SEE
Understand that the Unite union (who I believe 'represent' London bus drivers) and other unions in the UK are dead set against in-cab driver monitoring. It is very difficult to break down this opposition. Mandate DMS and make it a legal requirement before awarding a public service licence (I think that's what they are called)
I thought TFL trialled Guardian a couple of years ago in 70 or so buses but I dont believe that any comment has been made by SEE or TFL since then. Was the original trial unsuccessful, or did it not happen & it is happening now ?
