A while back see dms was one of the bottom row of the "veoneer(!!?)" pyramid, now with additions to seeing machines abilities I believe our DMS is right at the core of ADAS. All things will grow around it. IMHO of course.
Funnily enough that's exactly the answer I expected from you.
So why haven't you sold?
As I said in my original post I hope for some of those contracts to crystallise in the next months.
What's your exit price?
That is my business.
I certainly hope so shallwe....
So why haven't you sold?
What's your exit price?
Glandore, I note what you are saying and don't disagree. However, reading the patents that JC is posting (which for my sins, I do) along with the occasional but very informative summaries from TLS, my take is that SEE are possibly helping out with some of those other ADAS elements too.
Strategy - such as it is - is to hold what I have and reassess as circumstances change.
There is no posting strategy except to provide what I think is more balance to the BB. But balance is in the eye of the beholder !!
'You have made it clear that you are positive but prefer to post negative'
... Is that positive you want the shares, but negative until you buy some.
I'm confused by the strategy otherwise.
Hi shallwe, ADAS includes Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Traffic Sign Recognition as well as others. DMS is the latest addition to the suite of elements. SEE is critical to DMS but DMS is just one part of ADAS. That is the context for my comment.
DMS will become fundamental to ADAS. Maintaining constant driver attention is an immutable rule of driving a weapon of potential harm at speed. It's all the eyes and in the head
Glandore, are you correct with your - 'SEE DMs is a small part of ADAS systems'?
Bearing in mind that Driver monitoring for fatigue etc. is now mandated in ENCAP as an individual item, I would respectively suggest that SEE DMS is a MASSIVE part of the ADAS system.
Also, as can be seen in the various research on this board, the SEE DMS is being utilised in a far wider context than originally envisaged, I would respectively suggest that the SEE DMS is in fact a MASSIVE MASSIVE part of the ADAS system.
Just my opinion.
Of course Glandore,
Emotional attachment isn't good, leads to a lot of stress as shown by the filterboys.
You have made it clear that you are positive but prefer to post negative, fair enough.
On the contrary Lewbo -
I believe I will make money from my holding but I have lost the emotional attachment I had over the first nine years of my affair with SEE.
I think there will be good announcements of contracts in the next six months.
I believe the SP will increase as a result.
I believe there is a possibility another financing will be needed in the longer term.
I think an SP beyond 20p is very possibly Pie-in the sky whereas two years ago it was a real possibility.
Just because I try to view both positive and negative sides of the invesment does not mean I am not happy with it.
I generally post some of the downsides here as a balance to the vast bulk of posts which focus on the positives. But I post rarely.
And that’s why the share is 5p! If all was in the positive share price would be in 3 digits. So you invest knowing that surely?
And that's exactly why I swing from one to the other frequently depending on my mood. Some days the top points make me think this is going to get to 50p, whilst another day I think about the second list of points and think shall I sell when I get a decent profit i.e. 20-30% and quit because it will never come good.
As many have said we need some decent RNS's similar to the period about 24 months ago when we got the Ford, BMW, Merc RNS's all in a very shortish period of time
So Glandore, you seem convinced that SEE are not a good investment based on your analysis. When i analyse a stock if i have the same opinion i dont invest or disinvest.
You are still, I assume invested here, why?
See have the best technology
See have the best "collaborations"
See have a number of contracts already signed
The legal framework is moving to support SEE
SE have focus now on three very exciting verticals
vs
SEE execution over the years has been dreadful - especially fleet
SEE is a minnow vs their customers/collaborators
SEE cost base is extremenly high
SEE cannot set the timeframes for contract signing and cash flow
SEE DMs is a small part of ADAS systems - they are nothing like a Mobileye who had a full solution
SEE promises have shown extreme naivety
SEE cash flow is a real issue - as it has been for the last 11 years
