I've had EVs now for nearly two years and would go back to conventional if you paid me. Driving all electric has brought the joy back into driving as it is so easy, no distractions, so smooth in all situations.
Being retired now my only long drives have been to visit my son in Bristol which is very doable with only one charged being required on the road, and I do that in Bristol when I get there so no long charge time.
I don't get range anxiety and longer, it's like everything, you get used to it a few months driving an EV.
SEE already have staff working on AWS elements, whether these are for this type of work or just to use their cloud based services for their digitisation of everyday office packages I don't know, but it sounds very positive.
How strange that Martin 'can't really comment on classified information', however he is happy to renege on NDAs protecting the disclosure of OEM names.
Talk about wanting your cake.........
UDWG, I concur, I believe that Magna will be the player that will make the bid for us, but I don't think it will be anytime soon. My gut feeling is that they will wait to see over the coming 24-48 months how much of an in-road they make with the DMS / OMS offering in their rear view mirror and if substantial, they will want SEE as part of their company in order to protect their future revenue in this area.
I would ordinarily have had sympathy for the SEYE investors, but after all the warnings that were given elsewhere, I find it hard to do so.
My disdain for Redeye though knows no bounds, they are almost guilty of fraud. I assume that they are paid house brokers, but they could clearly see the writing on the wall and should have carried out deeper due diligence, they should be sued by the investors who have been taken in by their fairy tale.
Not all Mach-E's have Bluecruise, I have one and mine doesn't have it. It depends on the model, mine is the basic model SR RWD (Standard range, rear wheel drive)
I believe that it is the all-wheel drive versions that have the Bluecruise fitted (not turned on in the UK.)
