George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Why are you even in this chat group WackShorter?
Tell me, how many car batteries do you know of that have needed to be replaced? What models?
Shall we go down the road of looking at cars that needed replacement engines, replacement gearboxes?
Well wickshagger, catastrophic to who?
The last strike was 4 years ago and 40 days, but only with GM - article says 'if' they strike, the union wouldn't have funds to cover 40 days against all three manufacturers. So at worst some delays in getting out stock for already a pent up demand.

I agree, and ultimately the market will decide, because they will only build what people want to buy.
What I did like with EVs was that it drew in the new tech, especially assisted driving and DMS / OMS.
How many people do you know who's batteries have failed?
I've certainly written off two cars with engines that blew themselves to pieces.
I think there will be petrol cars around for a long time, for those that want to hold on, but they will just be frighteningly expensive to run, as the vast majority won't want them.
Everything Electric Show is a great resource for facts.

Battery tech has already moved on, would help to watch a video on YouTube called "The Dirty Truth about Combustion Engine Vehicles' it's an 'Open Source' Animation. Very good.
Batteries have an extremely long life and can almost be completely recycled... After mining oil, transporting it, refining it, transporting it again, and then burning it - how much 8s recycled?
I agree. I have been driving 35 years and after a year in a full EV I would never go back to an internal combustion engine.
The car is still the same, just a different propulsion system.
So smooth, so much torque and power from 'zero revs'. I'm in the slowest ionic 5, with the small battery, but it still leaves most things behind from traffic lights... Just so much fun.
I always charge at home overnight, but I did recently drive 500 miles to Ben Nevis from Swindon in one day, and fast charged easily, while taking a well needed pee, coffee and food break. It was never a problem or long wait.
I also 'fill up' the 54kw battery that usually covers 230 miles for £5.13 !
This is exactly why I ask, because it's good to ask in a polite manner, so those that are new can then get a clearer picture.
Presumably either an investor in Smart Eye, or lonely. If I was a Smart Eye investor, I would be switching camps. Can't blame investors in believing the words of Martin... but lack of KPIs, questionable acquisitions, and raise is starting to undermine that.
Otherwise why spend so much time and emotional energy posting extremely negative comments for years?.
In fairness your style is a tad aggressive, so eventually your not taken seriously/ignored where possible.
I was interested, as everyone does have a reason for being here, especially when engaging.
I have been very slowly adding for at least 6 years, and have never felt so confident that we are reaching a decisive point.
As a very early investor, I do as much research as I can, but also have to trust my gut instinct that I believe in Paul.
I was at the investor meeting pre Christmas, and his respects given at the beginning to a private investor who was close to a lot of long term hoders hearts, was lovely.
Hope you invest and good luck.
