Hi Falky thanks but as I pointed out it's not me I'm concerned about . I have my own very staid , ultra boring steadily accumulative strategy which I've run for almost thirty years now . I was merely trying to put in to context the very large sums relative to your original stake at risk if the market turns against you .if your posts are fair reflection of your positions , and I have no reason to assume otherwise , then I guess that you are down ~ÂŁ10k over the last couple of weeks, will have had margin calls against you every day so you are obliged to pony up or recognise a loss and have an all out risk of hundreds of thousands(I know that would only be in the case of a major market collapse but it is possible, not probable but possible) on an initial outlay of maybe a few percent of that. I want to make it very clear to those reading your posts and heaven forbid emulating you that you maximum risk is a large six figure sum .Mine is greater but is spread over positions in over forty different entities , and three continents.

Ha Ha...excellent

I think you are close...I have been watching with interest...I similarly have a fear of leveraged funds
I have noticed a number of inconsisten posts from Falky
But the way I look at it...he is not trying to hurt anyone is he ?
and its very entertaining
Kind regards
The Tinster ( I'm having a few tins of hobgoblin...and its only monday )
Falky... as along term cautious investor your position as described terrifies me . It seems however that they have attracted considerable interest from others on this board . In order to illustrate to them how high risk your strategy is (I assume you are trading spreads on margin or CFD's?), if that is so I would love to see you outline the initial margin you have at risk and the implications of margin calls as the position moves against you . It's not for me , I have learnt my lesson years ago from options trading, but I think those others reading your somewhat brief posts could learn from a more detailed explanation . EG at the mo. AIUI you are ~ÂŁ4.6k down and will be coughing up a few hundred for every penny fall in the SP. Are you willing to illustrate that? or if I am wildly wrong(it has to happen eventually!!!)put me and others straight.
Over to you .
And speaking as a representative of the 'more conservative' type of 'day trader'
Chuckle
My profit if ÂŁ1.98 last week being the type of thing I do...with no leveraging feels to kill it...but...bear in mind...I do that type of thing...a lot...ha ha...anyway...my point
Falky
You might get your 110 tonight ?
Kind regards

The share price will strengthen with the strengthening of the balance sheet / finance's, the sale of accets ie ITP will do this, so you should see a spike at some point, imo we are looking at 2022 /23 for the biggest growth and the stability of this share / RR in line with the ongoing improvements with covid and the economy in general.
RR are doing all the right things strategicly but the re-alighning of the business due to covid and the push to be less reliant on the civil long haul business, will take time.
This will continue to Bob-Along .. !!
pp sorry not point
What does the point in “£1k pp” stand for?
Also guys what’s your opinion on this, everyone’s saying it’s going to go up (in a perfect world - I do agree) but the rate of loss for RR and the delay in the UK lockdown easing plus the lack of cross Atlantic flights doesn't this seem worrying?
What’s everyone’s opinion: pros and cons for RR?
I’ve seen a few dodgy misleading links for ITP Aero sale, but even then that’s to cover losses and increase cash flow, to me it seems like this share will only boost once the Delta variant has been assessed globally, but I’d like to believe I’m completely wrong, so I look forward to your opinions.
