Kando
You’re posts are so negative and downright depressing as I have said before
You add nothing in my opinion only doubt which does not affect me. Filtered as don’t see the point .....bye
Yes. I don't think we can agree when the data is seemingly irrelevant to you. Anecdotes and false equivalences don't usually withstand contact with the real world.
Well Kando, I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree.
Those are some gymnastics of logic. There's a lot of false equivalences in there.
Simply put, in absolute terms the pandemic is about to surpass every previous peak, and every new infection is a chance of a mutation that takes the virus further away from the action of the vaccines.
Moreover, every country with rising case numbers is either already excluded or will be invariably removed from any green lists or travel corridors. The cases are going up *almost* everywhere in April, which is not going to allow for the big global travel easing this summer that airlines and rolls need.
Kando.
You are absolutely correct, an increase in cases is a spike on the graph.
No different than any increase on anything is also a spike on a graph, because it goes up.
The point is that India's cases are tiny in comparison to their population. This, as the scientists, is because of the heat, not because of lockdowns or social distancing.
I probably have 1,000 staff in India, and when I talk to my leads, they have been saying since the middle of last year that it's BAU out there.
If you look at the UK cases on Sunday and look at the cases on Monday, there is a spike, that doesn't mean that the UK are going backwards.
Cases are compared to the level of society opening and the amount of tests conducted.
The measure is hospitalizations in relation to Covid.....Not deaths, because every country are reporting deaths differently.
160,000 cases a day... in a spike on the graph... is not a spike? Okay, and the other dozen countries listed?
Sit on your hands then and ignore the warning signs. Good luck to you all.
Apologies. Misread. you are correct
Pfen.
INDIA
INDIA
INDIA
and just to be exact, India's population is 1.39BN
Florida, tells you all you need to know: my cousin who lives there, travels regularly from Miami, to Peru, and to the UK, without hindrance.
Think he said india
The population if america is 331m not 1 5b
Where did this come from
This is classic media and political scare mongering.
The quote from the WHO...
"If you compare that to a year ago we had about 500,000 cases being reported per week... the trajectory of the pandemic right now is growing exponentially.
Well you idiots. A Year ago, the UK alone was doing 20 to 30,000 tests a day.
Now the UK alone are doing over 1m test a day.
As the testing goes up, the amount of positive results go up.
So a year ago, nobody knew how many people actually had the virus because there wasn't enough tests anywhere in the world.
You notice that they haven't quoted that the overall death rate, across the world has decreased for the first time in living memory.
That the amount of Flu deaths in modernized countries went to nearly zero.
Everyone is entitled to their two minutes of fame, but spinning a story and comparing this time to last year is just ignorant.
Kando.
The US has a spike of cases, In Michigan 99.9% of cases into the hospitals are all non-vaccinated people.
The US will be fully vaccinated by Mid July ish.
India. Yes, they have 160k cases. But they have a population of 1.5BN people.
Translate those cases to the UK's 68m population and........that's 7,300 cases, like for like with population. Not exactly a spike is it.
Solid..... I keep saying...
148....
It's going to be 148.
Rr101.
I'm good, I'm always hoping :-)
Strangely enough I have looked at HeliumOne.
It's new to AIM as well, and the rises are very weird. I decided to stay away. I think it's potentially just full of "helium" :-)
I agree with Kando cases are high as Asian and EU countries are seeing UK variant spreading. However a lot changes in a month. Unlike last year we are now vaccinating.
Yesterday entire market except Tesla was red. Friday SP 113p
Rr-your welcome that tip was off a pro and it was one of his main tips don’t buy when rsi is at 90 and don’t sell when it’s below 30
The likelyhood for a bounce in the other direction is very high
(It could pay off but more often then not they don’t )
I think it will do well just a risky place to enter at minute
You don’t chase
Yh we are in the same sort of pattern
They can break either way but I think the bulls will win
It’s going to take really really bad news for the support to give way and the bears win
Sell off sort of news
Chris Whitty said closing the borders is not going to stop the infections. Economy can't be closed forever is what Chris Whitty said! How long will the countries be in lockdown?
Chris Whitty already said that covid will be treated like flu. Regarding travel, without any doubt EU will open up tourism and to do that they said they will ensure to vaccinate 70% by July! By July , one article mentioned that France and Germany will match UK vaccination rates!
US will vaccinate their entire population by July!
All that govt wants is vaccine certificate/Passport and if you have vaccine then you can travel. Govts will be cautious until entire population is vaccinated and after that there is no stopping, no lockdowns, borders will open up. With lateral flow tests, travel will open up. Green list countries can be visited with no quarantine and a free LFT on arrival!
Some countries are welcoming tourists if one is vaccinated. Only idiot BoJo is coming up with ridiculous number of tests for travelling. He will be put under pressure by airlines to follow the same rules as other countries.
Hi hindy! Thanks for that, yeh I’m waiting for a bad day on this one should it ever come. Reason I think for the climb today was their Twitter feed yesterday posting their machine getting ready for drilling. It does have great potential though. Possible £1 if they find helium.
So you believe RR is now forming a bullish pattern? I wish I could believe you but this stock is so unpredictable at the moment. I mean the positive from today is that everything was down. Tui was 5% down today so it wasn’t just RR
The reality is there are entire fleets of aircraft still grounded, many of them wide bodied aircraft with Rolls engines, generating no maintenance revenue. Hence the current cash burn. Reaching a positive cash flow position, whether anyone here likes it or not, does depend on the revival of long haul business and leisure travel. What's currently flying is not enough.
The last 80 min on 10 min chart it put in a bullish pattern again
which tells me it was looking to come up short term
Rr101 he1 is a breakout of exactly the same pattern we are in

The rsi is at overbought on nearly all time frames
Tip for you don’t buy when the rsi is at 90 it’s very likely to dip back down soon
Kando, it still baffles me how it’s so heavily impacted by leisure travel. The cargo side is booming. Let alone every other aspect of the company.
"Kando I know you like to say negatibe about this stock, could you please point me out to which country is peaking up "
Scroll down to the daily new cases graph on each of these:

All of these countries and many, many more have very high and rapidly increasing daily infection numbers.
Even countries like the US and Spain have increasing rates. Will the US really be on the green list at 100,000 daily cases a day?
So, unless Malta, Iceland and Portugal constitute the majority of long haul business and leisure travel around the globe, there's quite a few reasons to be cautious about Rolls Royce's near term prospects.
Botbot! How you doing buddy? 148, you been on the sauce this evening :)
Yeh it’s now worth £120 woohoo. Lol
My tip to you is heliumOne. I wish I’d had enough spare money to get on it. Risen 90% in the last week and I do t think it’s going to stop. Unfortunately I’m all tied up.
Rr101..
Have you seen Nanoco.!
So your £100, must be worth at least £110 now surely...??
