I haven't seen the 17.49 trades yet x Unless I'm missing something; sure you'll let me know xx
I assume you didn't view today's trades before you wrote that twaddle?
Not as rich as Mike Ashley! !
17.49 trades? Can you see into the future? It's only 16.30 today xx
Bern expressed the opinion that all trades are openly transparent, and that MM's didn't play any kind of tricks.
So today's crop of 17.49 trades are........?
In the field of capital markets/ investments, clearly a very successful guy! While nothing is certain, still can only be taken as a positive.
I have held this share a long time and almost given up on it but the rise today made look again
Question anyone know anything about Stuart Lucas? Thanks in advance
One thing about this share, it doesn't half move quickly on small buying
Morning Bigus, hope Incontinentia is keeping well.
Any foresight of when Bwian will be released?
biggusdickus,
I assume this is the patent you refer to.
Antithrombotic agents
"Examples of fruits that can be used in accordance with the present invention are those selected from the families Solnaceae, Rutaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Rosaceae, Musaceae, Anacardiaceae, Bromeliaceae, Vitaceae, Arecaceae, Ericaceae and Lauraceae."
https://patents.google.com/patent/US6958164B2/en?q=ANTITHROMBOTIC+AGENTS&oq=ANTITHROMBOTIC+AGENTS
I believe the tomato was found to be the best for use as an antithrombotic agent.
I think Stuart Lucas knows the massive potential if a rare Blue-Cap claim antihypertensive supplement approval is achieved. With the exception of Chai tea (I think), I couldn't see any other Blue-Cap blood pressuring lowering supplements when I searched through China's equivalent to Amazon recently. Given hyperactive platelets are involved in so many biological systems, there will be a number of Blue-Cap's we can go for;
Aiding blood pressure reduction
Aiding blood lipids reduction
Relieving body fatigue
Facilitating lead excretion
We've got a lot of patents, and a lot of studies, all of which will help to win Blue-Cap status at a time when people in China (and everywhere) needs it.
I wouldn't be surprised if China fast track supplements that can be of some help during Covid-19.
hi gixer not sure what the full extraction process patent covers but I know it covers a few fruit and vegetables and not limited to tomatoes maybe this is what Stuart Lucas is after as there are many other alternatives to blood supplements out there other than fruitflow
But not before I buy my final 1m please mms
After the last purchase by SL sp wen from about .85 p to over 1p , let’s hope for the same this week ! https://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChart.asp?sharechart=PXS&share=Provexis
There are others but this is taken from the interim results RNS.
Intellectual property
The Company is responsible for filing and maintaining patents and trade marks for Fruitflow as part of the
Alliance Agreement with DSM, and patent coverage for Fruitflow now includes the following patent families:
• Improved Fruitflow / Fruit Extracts, which was granted by the European Patent Office in January 2017.
The patent has been granted in eight other major territories to include China, and patent applications are
at a late stage of progression in a further six global territories, with potential patent protection out to
November 2029.
• Antihypertensive (blood pressure lowering) effects in collaboration with the University of Oslo, which have
now been granted for Fruitflow in Europe and three other major territories. Patent applications are being
progressed in a further five major territories to include the US and China, with potential patent protection
out to April 2033.
• The use of Fruitflow with nitrates in mitigating exercise-induced inflammation and for promoting recovery
from intense exercise. The patent was first granted by the UK IPO (Intellectual Property Office) in May
2017, and further patents have been granted in Australia and Japan. Further patents for this formulation
are being sought in Europe, the US, China and ten other territories, with potential patent protection out to
December 2033.
• The use of Fruitflow in protecting against the adverse effects of air pollution on the body’s cardiovascular
system, which extends potential patent protection for Fruitflow out to November 2037. Recent laboratory
work has shown that Fruitflow can reduce the platelet activation caused by airborne particulate matter,
such as that from diesel emissions, by approximately one third.
I wouldn’t worry about that ,with most patents running until 2033 pxs won’t exist by then it will be long gone as most of the long termers who have held for many years .
When do they elapse, permitting anyone to conduct the simple process of extracting and marketing a natural compound from our environment.
Interesting company nevertheless! At least the flaming stuff appears to work.
All I can say is that I had many a long chat with a bloke who worked in amongst them, though I've lots contact with him these days. They regards PI's as total mugs to be milked of their hard earned, and can and will do lots of moves, basically justified by their "making a market" role. Believe what you want, it's a free country, though that is certainly arguable this year. But please don't delude yourself that all "trades" are open and free, you only have to read the constant moans about sells being buys, a vicey versey, that you can read on these boards most days. What are they? Whatever you want them to be usually, the fog of the battlefield.
there = their ffs !
Alf
What on earth is a "genuine holder", how do you measure it and why is it only there sells which count ? As far as i'm concerned the terms "genuine holder" and "long termers" are labels used by PIs to make themselves feel better about the fact that we're trying to get make money by doing nothing very much.
People buy and sell all the time, some buy for the long term, others are looking for a return in days rather than months. I don't doubt there'll be a lot of shares held by people who've had them for years, but equally there'll be others who've sold in the last few months who have turned a profit in the last few months and banked it.
If you think the MM's are making up 311 million shares bought or sold this year as part of some conspiracy by someone to get the company on the cheap, then, though that is a remote possibility, it's more likely that you're 'kin mad !!
Anyway, so basically the market is crooked and all the numbers are made up, and some people here think Stuart Lucas is manipulating the market to build up his holding. If true, it'll make a great TV programme, but I ain't holding my breath :)
BB
Causally insult Pot/Ketle/Black xx
Bern, your ability to casually insult your fellow posters is second to none.
If you think that the daily volumes are all genuine I'm lost for words. You know as well as the rest of us that MM's have pretty much free reign to do as they will with movements and place the Bid/Ask anywhere they like. If you feel that there were genuine holders who let go of 20million shares, I can't say I agree with you. There could have been enough chancers who bought in to the last rise I'll grant you. the vast majority of shares are held by long termers IMHO
No doubt we will have to wait until the last possible moment as there will probably very little in the way of good news IMO. It will be interesting to see how much Ford attributes any slow down to Covid-19 as he hasn't deemed it necessary to mention it so far.
Alf
Re "who freed up all those shares for Mr L to buy? Or did MM's sell shares they didn't have, and then got active on the boards to try to drive down the sp ?"
Well, according to https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/PXS/provexis-plc/trade-recap just under 140 million shares were traded in June and July. On the assumption that pretty much half that volume were sales, that gives 70 million.
Lucas bought just over 20 million shares between the end of May and early August, which still leaves 50 million to spare, so, as conspiracy theories go, you're on a par with Wellsite !
Anyway, we'll see how the company was doing in the last FY sometime in the next 53 days ...
