I don’t know why companies leave announcing results till the last day ,companies with billions of turnover can give a date when results are due ,a company with a couple of hundred thousand of t/o could do the sums on a calculator , so it seems that the bod must be hoping for good news before announcing ,I can think of no other reason .
That would be a criticism of DSM then, which is valid, but it appears that they are putting a lot of effort in to marketing Fruitflow, it hasn't been shuffled off in to a backwater in their promotional effort. I'd love to know, we all would, who they have on the potentials list, what stage they are at, and when they intend to launch. Since 2010 I've always recognised that it isn't going to be that way. Were are in their hands, they do work in confidential contracts, they report that there are ongoing projects. Face value, they are doing their job, not enough to Provexis' benefit. Yet.
I know your response is directed at Wheelds but if I might chime in?
Firstly, the 2010 AA is a better kept secret than most so we don't know what responsibilities the BOD have under that agreement but, judging by the lack any financial value for the Shareholders, I don't see the AA imposing any onerous workloads on anybody. Secondly, the protection of the IP would be managed by Lawyers as it is a specialised area of Law.Thirdly managing the relationship with DSM. This probably amounts to a monthly phone call from Australia to Holland to discuss the lack of meaningful progress to date.
Alf, are you truly blind to the shortcomings so evident with the Company? We have an abysmal SP and not much cash. We still await a major end user to put FF into a high volume product.
A keyman refuses to confirm his residential status.
I truly hope I am proved wrong when the Prelims are eventually announced but I'm not hopeful.
"The key strategy of Provexis going forward will be to fulfil its responsibilities under the Alliance Agreement, such as protecting the intellectual property of Fruitflow and assisting DSM with scientific work required to further commercialise Fruitflow, whilst also managing the relationship with DSM. "
Which part do you think they are not "managing very good" ?
" Y/E 31/3/17 Ian Ford was paid £1800 pw and Dawson Buck was paid £1500 pw for running a Company with a SP of 0.039p?" .........
Thats £171,600. per year.just for two wages for managing a company that is loss making relative to revenue. Fruitflow is a great product but not being managed very good. Lets hope with the partnership with DSM and By-Health revenue starts to increase..
toolight, are you happy that as of Y/E 31/3/17 Ian Ford was paid £1800 pw and Dawson Buck was paid £1500 pw for running a Company with a SP of 0.039p? Furthermore do you think this rings a bit hollow at the moment..................
"Relationship with shareholders The directors seek to build a mutual understanding of objectives between the Company and its shareholders. The Group reports formally to shareholders in its interim and annual reports setting out details of its activities. In addition, the Group keeps shareholders informed of events and progress through the issue of regulatory news in accordance with the AIM rules of the London Stock Exchange. The Chairman and Finance Director seek to consult with significant shareholders following interim and final results. The Group also maintains investor relations pages and other information regarding the business, its products and activities on its website www.provexis.com."
The key strategy of Provexis going forward will be to fulfil its responsibilities under the Alliance Agreement, such as protecting the intellectual property of Fruitflow and assisting DSM with scientific work required to further commercialise Fruitflow, whilst also managing the relationship with DSM. The Board believe that these obligations can be met with a very small team comprising two part-time executives, together with two non-executive Directors to oversee strategy and governance matters
I noticed this morning that the CEO of Ascent Resources has made the decision to go Part Time until the Company finances have improved. Two entirely different businesses of course, but I like the principle.

CB DSM, DSMV, McK, Auditors, Broker, O'K, and a few other PI's I know of have all known where IF and his family have been living for the last 5 years (Sidney) so it's not exactly a secret. The Company House record was updated recently with the addition of the new DSMV chappie and he's clearly shown as resident in France, so IF could have updated his profile at the same time. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/05102907/officers
Yes, that was a particularly arrogant remark by Alf who has never bothered to go to an AGM and prefers the comfort of his keyboard. I salute those folks who can be bothered to attend and if more of us had followed their example, we might not have the complacent overpaid BOD we have now.
If and when someone gets around to calling the AGM it could be interesting as I am unable to get the FD to confirm where he is domiciled!
I wonder why this information is being kept secret?
Interesting to speculate on the latest daydream posted on the backwaters channel. My opinion. Only one HNWI has a notifiable holding, therefore safe to assume that PI's represent the majority of shares held. If a proposal to take Provexis private was tabled, the offer would need to be attractive to that group. At the moment, there are a few vocals with high enough averages to suffer if that happened.
I think Bella (Farmgal's) observation that DB and IF are astonished that the breakthrough has taken so long rings true. Not one of us knew, not even them. DSM's attitude remains firmly positive (yeah yeah Pumpky, not feasible). Therefore the offer he anticipates would need to reflect that portrayed optimism by our operational partner
