Bricks Newco Wind up meeting for former Purplebricks shareholders 20th December
https://bricksnewco.co.uk
Final payment just 0.66 per share
£220k liquidation costs
Investors who bought in at the death for 0.4p would have made a killing LOL

Great recovery play here. should see 30p by August.
Dunstone might have bought an expensively created brand for a £1 but must be already suffering indigestion
Despite immedaitely announcing a fee haircut fresh instructions have continued to melt
A double whammy on revenue
On Sunday Strike actually took on more than Purplebricks !
investors can only hope that the monies left ober in "oldco" are ring fenced and heavily guarded
It's staggering to think that since August t 2017 The" market value "of the company has decreased by £16 m pcm !
Investors who boight after the Fenruary RNS announcing the sale sign is hoisted can feel rightly aggrieved that the BODS failed to tell them that he contract with Duologi was expiring in April crashing the model and effectuvely forcing a fire sale.

What do I get for my shares? Are they written off or might I get something?

Just don’t agree to voluntarily liquidate your shares, they may offer something eventually.
Would they re-list in 2024 nobody knows.
There isn’t going to be any offers made for any shares , the 31st may RNS tells you this
So once the stock has ceased trading are you going to come back to this message board to see if anybody is gloating i.e. them receiving 3-5p per share? Don't think so....so I would say nobody would care what is paid out once Friday comes..
So as this stock/company will no longer be listed, how will anyone apart from those still holding this stock know what will be left to share out.
As there will not be any more RNS 's to tell the market, and you can bet your life that some who did buy more shares will come on and say they were paid out 3p-5p a share just to try and make their case and justify them buying more shares .
This is not new news and known to the market for weeks....as such the price and value of the company!
Interest rate rises are starting to have affect on the housing market and related industries, ie agents, builders and builders merchants. I suspect that listings across the board will be down as sellers and buyers assess where the market will go. No-one sensible is going to list with Purp in the circs, though they might be tempted with Strike. Cap value down to about £1m so shareholders distribution looking meagre, at best.
Well Dunstone must already be suffering buyers remorse. Fresh instructions are continuing to fall in what is normally one of the busiest months of the year
He will be eyeing any money sloshing around
Despite the fee haircut. It looks like this month is going to be less than 2,000! Revebue has fallen through the floor .Hope he has managed to bag a few mortgage deals before the lenders pull the rug on the offers.
It is now Tuesday and effectively 3 trading days left (incl. today). I wonder if the company will provide some further news on the fund left over for distribution to shareholders before it gets suspended.

Interesting that Stike Bidco Limited was only set up in May 2023 and that Strike Limited is not willing to purchase PB directly! Perhaps they want to protect the assets of Strike Limited just in case the new company fails.

Have they really no shame. Delusional.
You couidn't make it up.PWC Helen Marston & PWC attempting to spin the firesale to Strike for a£1 as a success story!
The reality is they left it far too late in March to find a buyer. With the Duologo contract expiring at the end of April which meant that cashflow was going to dry up as losses continued Investors were going to be shredded
".....and relentless work ethic ensured a successful outcome for the business."

A cash shell, with a 1 mil valuation with the potential for 2mil worth of cash distribution, seems like it could hold something. That's a few years worth of listing.
A big gamble though. Hmmmm not sure.
Fat finger!
Camelot;/Hived
The business has been sold for a £1 .They wont be paying anymore In fact since acquisition insytuctions continue to pluimett Bricksnewco, operating losses continue.Theyhave bought a pup ,avery expensive pup
The clear and present danger for shareholder is the stimated potof £2m they are now fighting ober might get tapped to meet the conditions of the purchase agreement
Theclearan dpresnt dangeris thatsome ofthecondiyions arent fulfilled and the requireteh resy of themoney inth epoyo soty oiy
This business is doomed, I can't see any sort of bounce here. The reason it won't do a CINE is because the model simply dosen't work, look at Tepilo, Doorsteps, easyproperty, emoov they've all gone.
The MMs have destroyed any chance if this bouncing
They to from 0.440 to buy 0.42p to sell. 5% spread ok can deal with it
Then it's 0.50p buy and still 0.42p to sell and ca drop to 0.40p. 20%:spread and they keep repeating this each day every day.
It's going to delist in 5 trading days so they are effectively killing any chance of a true spike. Despite this 2 million proposed payout

As usual with Bricks It's unclear during the transitional period when lawyers bills will be still cranking +other expenses whether any of that will be borne by "Bricksnewco" co as this still probably falls under the heading of "transaction costs
it doesnt take long to ratchet up a 6 figure legal bill
What it does say is they will offer resoitces to oldco inclyding Doiminique the FD who will remain for the time being
Not a great start in June with instructions well down and a hefty loss in the first month to bear
Is it realistic to expect that the BOD need to make some sort of announcement to say what money will be left to dispense amongst share holders before it gets suspended.....or will it be after?

The price cut was at 11am . Putting that aside with or without the price haircut taking effect ,less than 70 yesterday Already down 40% from last year
What I am saying Sparty as Kwota pointed out this has little or no effect on the distribution of the leftovers for Purplebricks shareholders
The portcullis dropped on the 2nd June
Unless of course things are so bad Bricksnewco find something they can hang their hat on to roast the purchase agreement and it ius liqidated with SFA for purplebricks investors
Something the fruit machine lads might consoder spinning the wheels on the shrapnel
Again Sain
So, price cut comes out late yesterday, you expect the listings to come immediately - same day - thats what your saying.?
No they dont, there are processes to follow for newly published properties - AML - Compliance etc, Trade Misdescriptions etc.
So no, they wont be immediate - despite what you think
.
Shows what you actually know - about property.
I do. But the only value in these shares now is the potential return of £2-£5m to shareholders (what ever is left once everything is paid for). Purplebricks the actual company it was before has been sold and has nothing to do with this company anymore....
Priceless . Well done Sparty but what hast that got to do with the fee cut.? You have to laugh Iam Spartacus has hoved up here bristling with indignation Seemingly recent events have gone way over his/'her head & the sale to "Bricksnewco"
Less than 70 fresh listings yesterday despite the fee haircut revenue has diminished further.
Its going to be a long time before Charles gets his £1 back.
You do understand that the shares are still trading and will be delisted on the 15th.

But you will not receive them until earliest Dec 2023(as per RNS)
The word 'if' here is doing some huge lifting given this company's record:
"20% - 35% profit if £2m is paid to shareholders"
Is the floor so if you can get a quote (big spread) under 0.5 then you’re lucky. Won’t be heat long.
With the swift sale confirmed and transaction costs complete, we should get confirmation of SH returns here…which may well be more than anticipated.
Will be adding more if sp drops.

According to this article shareholders could get a lot more…£2m return 0.65p and if there is some £5m (assuming 1/2m transaction costs) then this could equate to 1.5p?
Purplebricks will retain up to a maximum of £5.5m of its cash reserves at deal completion and these net proceeds will be returned to Purplebricks shareholders following transaction costs.
The Purplebricks brand will delist from the Alternative Investment Market on 16 June and is set to change its name to Bricks Newco plc.
Helena Marston has also resigned from her role as chief executive and a director of the company following the vote.
Its share price hit a new low of 0.41p at the end of trading on Friday, down 99.6% from Purplebricks’ public listing price back in 2015 and a long way from its peak of almost 500p that was reached in 2017.
As far as I'm aware the deal has already been done, on Friday
0.6p worth per share?
anyone thinks this could get another buyer?

Looking like a good punt. Brand is sat cheap. Like ridiculous cheap.
Lest hope there isn't some huge payout for the incompetent BODs
0.431p to sell and 0.469 to buy.
I'm hoping anyone who wanted to sell has done so and this will now do an Amigo style spike at some point before the 16th.. I can but dream
What ever it was worth the 2k punt at 0.45p with potential 0.65p payout still on the cards
Next RNS will be very important to the SP I feel.
GLA, even Shenners!!
Cheers mate
It's still 0.47p to buy and lots of trading days left
The 0.65p if it happens in full and its after expenses apparently seems like it could see 0.55p.plus again before 16th.
We have seen shares that there is absolutely no payout to share holders like Amigo jump 500% in a day so God knows
I'm in at 0.45p so wasn't really a big gamble
Hi Neil,
No I didn't, I almost did but got side tracked by the wife. Watching at present, hope it goes your way.

I don't believe for 1 minute there will be £2m left to share out, after paying out all redundant payments to the BOD's and everything else they can add on I bet there will be less than £1m so that 0.065p could be only 0.030p
and no one wins.
