Slightly exaggerated imho... Sounds like you may have had a bad experience with a Cfd... Gl
On CFDS they NEVER allow you to get anything out of it, they go against you all the time ,They bug the platform overnight so if you want to close the positions ,the closing tickets are LOCKED you cannot sale anything till you have losses after they spike what you are trading , then they release it .Lots of peoples are complaining as they dont allow them to widraw funds from their account ..Margin calls are their best ,if you open a position on an IDICE ,like FTSE100 they take the other side against you till they rob you margin ,,,You will never make anything out of them ...Even currency they chase you .They really need FCA to act on them im sure they will .Then they said regulated by FCA to others they say in fact they are regulated by SYSEC..
How are PLUS robbing people? Are you saying that even if your account is in credit, it will not allow you to withdraw funds.? Or are you saying the margin calls are too high, or the spreads are greater than expected?
last Year after FCA investigation they started bombarding peoples with emails telling them there accounts were open and offering 25 pounds to start trading with ha ha FCA needs to act again on this peoples ..
This crooks shoud be banned fro operating in UK altogether they rob everybody on their CFDS platforms ...
Kevin It all depends when you sold your shares. If you sold your shares before 24th March you would be entitled to final dividend and special dividend. The ex. date was 24th March and payment date was 11th May. I hope this helps.
Hello, I sold my entire stake a few weeks ago and I bought in around a year ago, would I still be eligible for a dividend payment even, perhaps even if its pro rata adjusted? Does anyone know? Kind regards, Kevin
Received my dividend the next day
Financials in general appear to be rising (perhaps due to Greek progress). Plus volume isn't giving any clues.
Hi All, seems we have broken thorugh 600p. anyone have an idea of the catalyst?
Ok thanks .. I'll chase this up today
Yes mine was paid a day after payment date by TD Invest
Has anyone received the latest dividend ? III said the company still has not paid it ?
I have the form and it has a couple of difficult to achieve sections like "PART B: CERTIFICATION OF FOREIGN INCOME TAX AUTHORITY". So you need HMRC signature /official stamp. Unless you have a huge holding for the very long term its not really worth it. Would really make me think twice about investng in an Israeli based company again. we are lucky that PLUS pay a ridiculously large dividend.
Well Dave for me its a 25% withholding tax. Still arround 7% return. And it seems they are doing a marked improvement in business, so will stay in for the foreseeable time.
None whatsoever, I found it about as easy as trying to find my way through a minefield blindfolded, in the end I just gave up, my head hurt a lot less afterwards, but good luck with your attempts.
No haven't managed have accoutants investigating. Any tips?
Did you manage to navigate your way around the Israeli Witholding Tax?
Only a couple of days to receive my £19500 dividend with 45.000 shares thats a 10% return p.a.total with interim div. Only other Co. As good gvc but unfortunately won't pay divideends this year. So selling my gvc as way over priced at 5.60 when no guarantee when it will resume payments.
Hi Thomas, is any more said in that piece? Its a membership only site and I don't have access!
thanks bgw, do you know how Plus500 average lifetime compares with other rival firms? I have always noticed their ads on my facebook wall so always assumed we will tempt non-serious punters rather than serious traders. I read the last update to read that we are not converting the higher rollers into greater revenues with us. Anyway the proof will be in the next update.
Atletico Madrid (shirts sponsored by PLUS500) are in final (to play either Man City, or Real Madrid). Global TV audience for last year's final estimated at 180 million. Great advertising opportunity!
HFWizard - The company has consistently said that the average active lifetime of a client is about 6 months, as I recall, and asserted that marketing spend has a longer impact than just a few weeks. It is now asserting that the high Q1 spend will have an impact on Q2.
Also, if you look at the chart it looks like a doublr top has formed and a gap between 507-517 which will likely be filled at some point. I've always looked for fundamentalsale first and technicals to support my decision. As already mentioned, i was personally disappoonted by the trading statement and the technicals appear to support my thinking.Right now, I can't see a short term catalyst to propel the price up. I still hold c3000 shares but I think we'll get cheaper before we get above 650p and there are still chunky sells going through so someone is lowering their stake.
Hi bgw, I am interested in your comment "The company always says that marketing spend is predictive of the next quarters." have they mentioned this in trading update/ results RNS? I am also concerned the extra spend is not filtering through to extra revenue and have trimmed my stake accordingly.
