Great post and correct in my view trilla...
It is clear that PCR testing is not the priority whatever the rights and wrongs of that.
It is also clear in the UK that the vaccine is working superbly well and that will hit testing in a few months if the numbers continue to fall away.
Mullins has his work cut out to acquire or the shares will fall further.
I’m not Deramping but an almost 50% reduction in MCAP over 30 days is simply not ‘MM Manipulation’ and I don’t believe you guys think this either.
Demand has not outstripped supply at prices higher than the current one...
Current sentiment is that the vaccine rollout is crippling testing - whether true or not this is the issue, MM games aside.
Market makers make money out of volume, via the spread. They don’t really care what the price is - as long as enough are buying or selling they make money as the middle man.
Wise up if you are believing all the MM hype and that current SP is just a mirage. It is what it is, should it be higher ? I think so - but the market doesn’t today.
@B2HS2L
Not sure the point of your diamond rough comment, unless it was your attempt at patronising me but at 54 I'm a bit long in the tooth for that sort of thing but in the balance of fairness, as you do make "some" valid points, i will simply ignore.
As for value add, I do call it as it is but equally i do try and keep a positive spirit on here especially on days where its total doom and gloom and we have seen a number of new posters here with specific agendas for sure.
I also despise posts calling for £ 3 / £ 4 what ever but that's my issue. We should be on the "same side" here
I only have the interests of the SP climbing to where it needs to be - that is all.
Take Care
@crl123,
DIdn't and still don't particularly like the heading of the thread that you started and are now continuing.
Maybe that's "It ".
You predicted an SP tomorrow of mid 60s maybe higher as 'so bloody predictable' and went onto describe proven patterns etc.. I don't know why you even bother responding to minions like me.
Generally, I have appreciated your posts and probably have much in common.
I'll follow your predictions closely and see how consistent you are - Keep safe and ATB.
It???
Please read whole post.
4 “its”
Each one is obvious . Which one?
Not sure what your point is so I won’t bother to wait. I get the feeling you are not really interested in the content or my answer but have another agenda
I don’t get why some people have to pick on posters and not support them.
It’s not the same as disagreeing. That’s normal. Don’t mind that.
Civility is paramount. IT (!) makes a good balanced forum for respectful discussion.
The only healthy way.
Hey ho. People eh?
GL to all decent and respectful holders of Ncyt. Its time will come.
Bye for now
@B2HS2L
Patience i have had in spades, I'm not selling ANY stock and just adding as i can afford and trust me on this, I have been building a fairly substantial holding in the back ground. So i'm either going to end up very well rewarded for backing this business or have the mother of all losses to write off against my tax returns and if i end up taking a hit on this sobeit.
I have no stop loss and i wont be selling anytime soon. Even if the share price tanked to 1p so the MMs can do what the FCK they like to the share price.
What I'm frustrated about here is the SP manipulation going on. The business is delivering great results and making a real difference yet its not reflected in the SP and that is just not right.
I still believe this will ultimately come good, i still maintain my price targets but it shouldn't take a large contract or acquisition or other to move the SP as they are already delivering - this is my point - they will have 278m of cash at the end of this FY - frankly you couldn't make this business more profitable - the BOD are doing a sterling job but for whatever reason sentiment is lost and the rich fundamentals here don't count for sh@t based on todays closing SP
B2HS2L, I agree with everything you just wrote. By ten months I was referring to when novacyt started making money. I was trying to make the point that it's too short a time to command a p/e in line with counterparts in the sector. Come Q2, when the future plans are laid out, we'll be in a completely different position than we are today (and the sp will respond accordingly).
HarChris, re your 17:15
We can establish a fairer sp value faster than 10 months.
I believe it's a fair assumption that the next financial news, - something which will have an effect on the sp lasting more than one day - would be clarification of phase 2 or it's successor agreement.
We know discussions are in hand, and these are the symptoms:
hiring more staff to run a new contract - yes,
intercepted tweet about rollout of PROmate in NHS North - yes,
Surge testing, - SNPsig in use, - yes.
Slight possibility of more symptoms available in Friday's discussions.
If one contract does not proceed as previously announced (Sept 2020), the successor agreement must be publically communicated.
If I'm right this is the next (overdue) financial news.
- Shouldn't be too long, but you are right, patience - (Porky) will be necessary.
@clr123,
What's "It " ?
Some people I won’t miss.
It’s not forecasting.
Not at all.
It’s describing a proven pattern of the last 5 weeks.
Share prices can never ever be forecast.
Just patterns described.
If anyone genuinely does try to forecast a share then dyor and ignore because it’s boll***s. We are just playing with the reality of a traders’ share on the vice-like algo grip.
I think I will join Bluelight and take a hike myself now. It’s too controlled and no point saying more myself either.
All the best to all decent folks. ( not to the uncivil ones )
ATB to Particularly those nursing big losses.
Well known saying : ' The only function of economic forecasting is to make astrology look respectable '
Its also easy take a sentence out of context and blame it for all the ills of mankind.
I've looked at several weather forecasts for the week ahead and if I concentrate on one aspect only would probably not step over the door.
I think we are going to need patience until we get full and fair value.(Unless we get a mega deal announcement in the meant time).
******************
Exactly. There is still considerable uncertainty over where revenue is going to come from long term. Once that uncertainty diminishes and ncyt produce the goods (over a longer period than 10 months) the sp will gather momentum and reach the broker targets and beyond.
Bluelight. I’ll go with that. It’s a Friday after tomorrow and that’s prime silly Billy time. . I’d see the algos taking it down to a trading range mid sixties tomorrow maybe higher. So bl**dy predictable.
When it’s a traders share-as since results RNS-it’s just a total parody. I bought in too early and didn’t expect this low. I did expect trader mentality and algos but it makes a whole mockery of the stock market. Nothing to do with covid or post covid or financials or profit or innovation or cash bla bla
Just computer set to “ algo-control”
All my whingeing won’t help I know.
Boz allows it . Just like shorting. Illegal in many Euro countries especially Germany after VW squeeze. Not their fault I guess. Laossez-faire . Govt. allows it as FCA does sweet FA. Truly. I mean that. Ombudsman good but FCA is wet.
I think less attempts at forecasting
There's not even anything to say anymore. Its so materially undervalued it defies all logic, and is being messed with for some nefarious reason. If these stunning fundamentals dont make it a buy I don't know what will. That's me logging off until I get a ping about an RNS or a rise in share price, everyting else is just pointless noise. I'd usually try to day trade on the side, buy and make some short terms gains, but that is virtually impossible also with the price action being controlled in such a vice like grip. So for now, I shall be logging off of everything and await the ping.
I think we are going to need patience until we get full and fair value.(Unless we get a mega deal announcement in the meant time).
I think the full results for last financial year should appear mid May as they did last year. We know roughly what they will be , BUT, i think we may have some extra value as I am expecting a very large inventory of stock on the shelves.
Hopefully, just prior to that we will get a trading update for Q1 this year. I am confident we have hit the ground running in the middle of a global pandemic this year. I fully expect Q1 to be the BEST yet for revenue(huge demand for product, with NCYT's optimum ability to fulfil orders)
I've been outside most of today, just had a look expecting to be 2-3% blue - NOOOOOOOO! it's still bloody red (don't tell Dylan I swore, we don't do swearing lol). Only a fraction of a % today but still just a tad disappointing. Still mustn't grumble, it was a GREAT rns and our time will come again. Tomorrow is another day, so lets see what happens then. GLA
At about 15.45hrs there had been approx 68 trades of 500 shares and 47 of those were Algo
Lets have a guess how tomorrow will play out. Open up 1-2% for half an hour then get traded down up to lunch to about -2/3%, then kept within a 1% range for the next 4hrs before a small tick up and slight red close. Someone needs to switch that algo bot off for sure
24-Feb-21 15:45:19 700.00 30,000 Buy* 210.00k
I wonder what tomorrow will bring.
As if I didn’t know.
Patience is hard.
Clammy City hands do not want to reflect value of Novacyt. Just want to bringbit down to play again.
Cuttiing edge technology-even vaccination recognition.
Nah.
Bring it down.
Unreal self-serving traders.
Forgive cynicism. Only human.
I accept it fully as have no choice. But Las Vegas has more credibility.
Carry on guys. Got it all your own way.
Great info . Share climbs for 15 minutes.
