crl123 - I completely sympathise with your situation here as I do with everyone who has lost. I also agree with your thoughts on what has been happening with this share, Mullis knew the effect his words, or lack of them was having and instead of showing support to Novacyt and its investors he again repeats his "mistake ". I've had 10 years of savings wiped out here, the speed at which it happened without a single word from the CEO says so much about Mullis. Incompetent or purposefully I guess doesn't really matter the result is the same. I have no doubt with the right and morally half decent person as CEO of this company we would not be in this position, but unfortunately we got him. I think it's time they removed his face from the Welcome to Novacyt blog as it really is not a face many want to see.
Thank you to the 11 readers who recommended my original post. I am glad ( in spite of what I expected) that it was of some value.
These are hard times.
It is good to have free debate and also some cohesion and support.
It is Ncyt and our way forward we should be talking about. Not each other!!
Best wishes to all the decent posters still holding.
@FireAnt
Fully agree - guess I shouldn't have asked such a personal question.
Maybe we'll read less about anxieties, fears, depression and mental conditions and speculation regards the emotions of others (essentially strangers) from now on.
Sorry to talk about me again. Hopefully last one. Troublesome is filtered so I didn’t know what he wrote.
So he called me bi-polar??
I’m not but what if I was ??
I teach kids at school who are and know adults who are. How disgusting to belittle them Troublesome. You are obviously not a nice bloke at all. And what a pathetic excuse to say you care when all you ever do is attack-hence filtered.
You really deserve outright shame for your utter ignorance.
Sorry other people for ypu having to read all this.
End.
Assuming that's been worked through today, hence the drop.
It's a late reported trade at 369.35, absolutely no way of knowing whether a buy or sell.
Trytobuylow. You have shown some wisdom and maturity. Whoever has attacked me for a condition has a greater one themselves. I have an anxiety condition ( for many decades) but have been a schoolteacher / psychotherapist and martial arts instructor ( as well as a questionnable investor) for over 40 yrs. It hasn’t stopped me achieving 2 Uni degrees and 2 Post-grads ...involvement in politics....and bringing up two bl***y happy kids. The last is most important
. To criticise me for something which is pretty darned hard to bear is heartless and spiteful and deeply immature.
It is in my opinion fairly disgusting if my green-boxed poster has ignored their own hang-ups to attack a complaint suffered by thousands. They deserve derision but I’m not stooping that low.
To disagree is fine.
I said that.
To insult someone for a condition which is common and painful deserves contempt.
I don’t expect an apology and I will continue to speak my mind honestly and above all civilly and without offensiveness..
I appreciate your post trytobuylow.
£370k sale at close.
I have helped several friends diagnosed with the condition and many others aren't aware that they suffer from it.
I'm sure he would appreciate my advice as he has much to give in consideration of others possible anxieties and fears.
You were going to do what if they had replied yes I am bi polar? Sorry but your post does not come across as showing genuine concern for anyone rather it seeks to ridicule. Nice try though to suggest you are concerned for the mental health of a complete stranger and using this board to support them.
@Toptips
It wasn't ridicule but a genuine concern.
Maybe some Blackrock type music might be preferable :

Fairly convinced now that this is being played by Blackrock like a harp.
No way are the company oblivious to this. Complicit? Maybe. They permit” liquidity deals” .
No news means the company feel no obligation to address the results of their RNS’s. It may be that there is an agreement for ii’s to fill their boots at low levels. Not conspiracy theory. I know this happens.
The aim of this post now is to settle investors into holding on . These are City games. I personally still believe Ncyt are complicit but don’t’t bother being offensive if you disagree. Just disagree.
Hang in all fellow sufferers on losses.
For as long as it takes.
Switch off if need be.
Don’t expect a RNS. Don’t expect anything from the company to cater for or appease investors.
Buy if you can ( dyor of course) or hold if not. Gonna be a while but losses are only crystallized on selling.
