"£161m is fairly substantial for a company that has arisen from literally no where with an unproven product. Of anything this bodes well for us"
Couldn't agree with you more. The demand for test's is going through the roof & Novacyt increased production significantly a few months ago. It looks like the Government are desperate to keep as much UK production on these shores. Almost impossible to put a figure on a potential order.
Interesting tender about automating the test unpacking process. Currently it's all done manually, staff handling boxes on benches. They've put out a 3 week research tender to see how they can speed it up.

I'm generally pretty happy with the liquidity here. If we were to be awarded a substantial 'RNSable' contract, would be interesting to see what the MM do! Anyone got any info on how the Parisian MMs operate - similar to AIM?
they now moved buy quote up more again
good sign - how many shares have you got?
i can sell all mine in one trade ,finding it difficult to get buy quotes at times
The EMS is 5000 shares, so can always get a quote to sell for that amount but sadly I can't test a buy quote for 5000 shares, as I don't have much cash left in my account! #fullyloaded
I can't get a quote to sell my 33,000 shares. I think the spread is wide for big trades and narrow for small trades, so perhaps ignore my comment about day traders!
Trendz ,which prices are you being quoted i am being quoted 2,88 to buy and 2,87 to sell
interested in price you being quoted
also Paris on move up again
will now be watching today to see if rns is now close
the Paris buyers seem to be lucky quite often buying before rns is released
Bungle, I'm sure if you build that flat with balcony, Dylan will stay with you all the time and try to make more money for a brand new Car.... lol
tight spread? I'm getting a big spread on HL. Low volume = large spread. High volume = tight spread.
spread so tight now ,and not easy already to get buy quote at times this morning ,are mms filling an order or are they low on available shares
RB, if we get 200M - I'm sure Dylan will not sleep... lol
Bungle, if we get 200M you have to build a 2 bedroom flat with balcony for Dylan... lol
If you read section D from the bidstat procurement note . It states that P OC tests are extremely important and scarce and how imperative it is for stocks to been maintained by the government to prevent competitors acquiring them .
If we’re not selling them to the UK there will be a list of at least 129 other countries who are desperate for our tests .
D. It is impossible to comply with the usual timescales in the PCR: due to the urgency of the situation there was no time to run an accelerated procurement under the open, restricted or competitive procedures with negotiation that would allow DHSC to secure delivery of products, particularly in light of the corresponding delays to timelines associated with securing supply of the test kits. Accordingly, any delay in procuring would have led to a significant and real risk that a competing purchaser would have secured them, leaving the Department without provision and severely undermining its ability to offer immediate POC testing and protect frontline workers and the public. It is imperative that security of supply is maintained. Demand for POC test kits is high and there is little/no incentive for suppliers to participate in competitive procurement procedures.
£200M!!
If we get anything over £200K, Dylan might get to choose any bedtime he likes.....
With the care home trial Queen Mary University were the first to publish that news, then it went into the press release feed and all the small sites picked it up. Took about 3 hours IIRC before Novacyt RNS'd it (or the RNS was published - don't actually know how long it takes an RNS to get processed after filing).
Based on that I think the RNS might come after any news of a tender but honestly, no clue.
Chrisnar, it looks likely. Seems to be a two day delay from award to being posted on Bidstat. If it's a sizeable award, NCYT will have to RNS it.
Assume it would be RNSd as it is a contract win, as opposed to a sales update which they do not have to update on..
If we get a contract anywhere near that one we'll be seeing new year highs in the blink of an eye.
Oh nice, well spotted RBM. Tenders are finally getting published!

4.x billion left to go...
£161m is fairly substantial for a company that has arisen from literally no where with an unproven product. Of anything this bodes well for us. It could literally land at anytime imo. The PHE backed us in April and we had the option to extend. I am certain this is going throigh soon and will blow the doors off this catching traders out.
Plus Diagnostics For The Real World showing as £20.4M
