Why exactly was it such a great rns? Some good bits and some bad bits. Recent sales have been lower and the dispute is ongoing and the company sounds less confident now about winning. Cash is lower than some expected although decent enough. Progress is fair enough. But there is also a lot of standard the directors hope stuff. For this to rerate the dispute needs to be settled. Uncertainty at the moment however people want to wish it away. The mkt looks at cold hard facts and early today was a good time for the traders who bought in the early £3 level to get out at £4.
Blue days ahead... just maybe not today. We have waited weeks for todays "rocket ship" and we are barely up. A nearly 10% drop yesterday and just over 1% up today! I think NCYT needs a better rocket.
I'm surprised it's taking so long to resolve the dispute, perhaps the DHSC is trying to wear down the company, anyway, good results plus H1 trading update due in about 3 weeks, I'm expecting a steady up tick to circa £5/£6 within 3 months
Thought it was a great set of results, dispute value less than I thought, sales ex dhsc now £7m a month, and soon to have LFT news.
Wouldn't surprise me if we finished red.
Well murzy, nice to see some info to digest for a change.
Much said was already known. However we finally have some clarification on the dispute...but unfortunately still in the dark as to when this can be resolved.
We now know a little bit more re the nature of the dispute and it sounds like DSHC had an issue with the product or it did not function as intended to fall under scope of a limited assurance warranty.
So we may or may not get away with a 20m impairment....still no clearer on the financial outfall of ths, but I agree it sounds like it is less than the worst case priced in here.
Also another note re one trick pony....virtually every single bullet point contained the word covid-19 so by sounds of it, the company still are not doing enough to pivot away from this. Certainly no solid roadmap in place regarding diversification.
Overall it was a bit more upbeat on previous RNSs, but certainly no reason to get too excited just yet.
Now we have another dinlo telling us we will lose £73m whilst pumping another share.
Hopefully those posts won't be here long...
Louis_Winthrop just shows the disgraceful lies they can get away with unfortunately, however now the goalposts are clearly set out I'm sure all investors will be fine...
There were Twitter poster trolls, wannabe bloggers and even journos that thought we were in dispute of the whole contract.
Guess they were wrong all along.
The bashing this company has taken since April is unwarranted, and hopefully the uncertainty has been replaced by positivity going forward.
Amazing Update
So we can replace DHSC product dispute at £20m and our map has been hammered by what £300+ million.
Significant SP uplift in progress
How do you all read so quick
Greggreen government scratch card lol
This caught my attention off the. Beaten track
As at 31 December 2020, the Group has unused tax losses of £41,230,000 (2019: £37,445,000) available for offset against future relevant profits. Their period of use is unlimited.
Need our kits , damn autocorrect .
Gobble , gobble , gobble ;)
Well it’s looking good in France 11% up .
I’m probably just been greedy morning sun but I won’t get excited until we are back in double figures again ;)
Brilliant RNS though .
@saintsmith
Might not rocket and COB at £5. That is a massive rocket in one day in my view.
Oh yes, 'eat our kits'? ;-)
MS
Great RNS indeed , other covid plays would dream for these figures . The government are already talking about a surge in flu this year , last year our winterplex test was under used due to very few cases .
This year I’d be telling the DHSC if you eat our kits , cough up what you owe us .
Nice for shareholders old and new to get a mention from GM.
I’m not sure I’m expecting this to rocket today , £5 ish maybe COB . It will however continue to climb and the mid cap £15 ambition will happen in my opinion, the wheels are in motion.
You just need patience .
Forget DHSC, they have no choice and they have to pay in the end even if we have to replace some of the products. Numbers are great so hopefully a massive jump on SP when market is open. A big blue day expected. GL all
