Hi Wilson,
ref your question, can PCR be done outside the lab:
In USA:
Our PCR assay FDA EUA states testing is limited to laboratories certified under
the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA), 42 U.S.C. §263a, to
perform high complexity tests.
However
"FDA Clarifies CLIA-waived Status for Point-of-Care SARS-CoV-2 Tests under Emergency Use Authorizations"

Neilrich Would be interesting to see how you have come to a "well north GBP 15 " valuation.
Excellent webinar, very informative.....the share price should be well North of £15.00...what a company, sounds like we have all the right irons in the fire!
I feel like the company is really missing a trick here. It looks as though the guests were not briefed about Nova's capabilities. Also surely 2 minutes from GM at the start / end saying how the company is a central part to all of this wouldn't go astray. Still the message was at least loud and clear that testing will be around in at least the same capacity for a while.
Rapid testing is not the end of PCR. PCR will still continue to dominate but we need more tests to find various variants. Ding added that more tests
are under way. Wonder who he means?
Me too several times Wilson at one stage wrote Mary Promate im sure she read it and grinned
Basically what they are all saying is testing alongside vaccination and possibly future lockdowns will be here for the foreseeable future and yes we JUST got a mention lol!! Thanks to Novacyt for sponsoring the event!!!
Finding the variants via PCR!!!
Rapid testing actually means more pcr Eric
Dynamite.....Rapid testing does not mean the end of PCR....we shall need more PCR....PCR shall continue to dominate!!
Eric saying MORE PCR testing will be required, not less!
No mention of Nova yet
She may be but she said all pcr's have to go back to a lab!!!! I asked the question on webinair can pcr not be done out with lab.
I love that they ALL agree testing is here for the long term and that they see the technology improving the types of test, the accuracy, the time it takes to process them and of course the cost.
I think Mary is a NCYT shareholder.
I've only just been able to join the webinar. Have we had a mention at all so far?
COVID-19: India coronavirus strain declared 'variant of concern' in England
The elevated status of the B1617.2 variant raises the prospect of surge testing in infection hotpots to curb transmission.

My question to the panel was about International Travel and the importance of testing, and whether testing necessary for the vaccinated.
