Timeframe quoted in 2017 original Drill plan RNS for Snow Leopard was 50 days.
Looks to me they have already provided for 20 day contingency which is prudent. Don't be surprised if Snow Leopard comes in early.
no your not bladderman, you have an agenda just like everyone else on here.
Your posts put nothing but a positive spin on everything, in reality in such a complex industry, in a complex country, in a complex environment nothing ever goes to plan but your spin doesnt allow for that, only 100% positive, you are as bad as the next man so why you think you are above it all is beyond me.
It's just how it is spun that hacks me off Hoof. I know these boards are full of as*h**les because that it what money attracts. People with agendas. I'm just being transparent. Got it off me chest now so all good
I doubt there will be any doubt about visas...just several weeks hold-up in drilling because some 'international' rig Co forgot to apply for them when they should have....and more than likely to impact on the drilling schedule in the short time that was available...no conspiracy...happens all the time doesn't it...
Rather than hypothetical bull non sense also from the SAME RNS...
This will not, however, impact Petro Matad's ability to drill both Snow Leopard and Wild Horse during the 2018 drilling season based on our best estimates of well duration.
We'll soon have permits for Wildhorse as detailed in the RNS. Also, a second rig availble to drill in late Q3/early Q4.
All that i've stated is factual information from the RNS not opinion or hypothetical sceanrios. I know what i'd prefer to use as guidance.
Further from the RNS.......'Sinopec is now moving logging and cementing units from China and will move all equipment to site once the drill site construction has been completed'.
Why would Sinopec accept the mobilisation notice and currently be undertaking moving of the units from China if there was any doubt regarding visas. Oh please.
Bladderman: Sad but true - once these "obstacles" are (even officially) done and dusted you can be sure that the doom sayers will come up with yet another issue in order to upset.
It's sad but - unfortunately - it's today's reality on this board.
The amount of idiots thinking that visas won't be issued or at least inflating the short term delay. Keep clutching at straws. The drill pad is being constructed as we speak. If it was going to be an issue they would stop its construction wouldn't they?? First it was permits these guys were embarassing themselves about. When visas are in
n hand they'll craw back into their caves n crevices because the bright Matad sun will be too blinding for them lol
It's only been a few minutes since someone posted about visas so I felt compelled to remind everyone. Still no visas? We're also running out of time for our drills just in case no one mentioned that earlier...will they or won't they drill? Oh yes sorry, that's already been posted today. Did I miss anything?Jesus fuc*ing christ....
SAVP have actually managed to get a drill in the ground (complete with visas for employees), MATD as yet have not, surely that's not difficult to understand why they have a much higher MCAP, if MATD actually spud the SP will clearly be a lot higher than today
Not all investors are as trusting or maybe naive as yourself to bet on this being a sure thing, time will tell
"@ Bishand...or next year...weeks... months... years... they're all the same with Co. Just lose a quarter of the drill season now and run out of time this year if the rig breaks down...no visas...what a joke."
It appears to have escaped your attention that there is a new management team in place. A team that has financed a 4 drill programme for 2018, which according to the latest rns was still on schedule to be completed this year. The new team thought it sensible to extend their 3D seismic coverage on the Tugrug Basin. The reasons were two fold, the complex geology and a request from potential farm in partners, who are reportedly happy with the results. In particular the new prospect Fox and its 200 MMbo possible resource. They only released the rns on the 12th April, so it's a little harsh to criticise the Company for being prudent or would you have preferred they had drilled Falcon without the benefit of the new seismic ?
Agreed although yes peeps can/will trade else where but they can loose as well as gain Gatto and return with a lot less money. Apparently, 90% of PI's quit because of loses and more often because they sell at the wrong time. GLA
Yes, and because of the volume still low and because of Matad is very unreliable I will suggest to all of very clever investors here and all of our pets which are absolutely rightly worrying about the future of Matad to wait till the oil strike. It will be very right time to invest without any danger to loose your hard earned money and after that start write positive comments or just gladly and loudly bark :-))
Why not wait for the news then like me, instead of keep posting the same questions about visas etc day in day out? Just wait for the rns then make your move, nobody on here can answer your q’s So why keep asking them over and over. Banging your head on a brick wall and wasting your time spring to mind. Why not trade and make money elsewhere then return when the news lands!!
