“Sometimes I think no one takes me seriously here!”
One can only speculate why........
JR
Would there be any point in taking u seriously?
We should all be able to comment - but seemingly we are controlled. Think about the Cor/Mcd stalag - Im sure you would love the restrictions!
Poker if ****ing was carbon neutral we'd be extinct. Semen contains a great deal of carbon. Every breathe out when jerking one off contains 40000ppm.
LO, you can't move in my house for tin pilchards and popcorn. Loading up on champers and beer in Cherbourg.
I knew my scouts training would come in handy - minus the bending over....I'm a big boy now.
Sometimes I think no one takes me seriously here!
So JR - you are looking to fall off the pale of this earth - or are u looking for sone to look after u.
A quick fix with ants?
At least go out in glory on the high?
Not that u are there yet - cos u u continue your Corbyn crusade- u want to be buried in Highgate Cemetery and only JC will allow u?
Yes there is always a bright side ,cold fusion, energy from black holes and green men from space could all correct the problems. But remember our past may show our future. Every so often an individual comes along and pushes us forward usually against our will.
UTT and I realise we are just sticking our finger in the dyke so to speak. The two powers that should be showing the way could care less. For those that think the "ANTS" will take over which is probable, they will have to deal with descendants of OXO`s and their solar panels.
Suddenly extinction seems a good alternative.
She's got a dilemma now lol (just keeping you honest sugar lips).
The Chinks & Asians are where America was in the 50's & 60's. Only problem is there were 250m yanks back then, there are 10x more Chinese & Asians. Electric cars aren't gonna cut it we need better bikes & more shopping trolleys.
The worlds largest container ship carries 23,756 containers and has a load of new fuel and energy efficient features producing lower CO2 emissions per unit carried than other forms of freight transportation such as planes, trains, trucks or barges.and has the option of switching to low-Sulphur fuel, or to be adapted for liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the future.
Every little helps

It's a choice only us as a Society can make , long lasting honey or perishable vegetables
Should read - LENR- Low energy nuclear reactor.
The world’s ‘largest all-electric ferry’ has completed its maiden voyage
over the course of one year the ferry would stop the release of 2,000 tons of carbon dioxide, 2.5 tons of particulates and 1.4 tons of sulfur dioxide.
Every little helps .......

And on Q of lern - why don't these save the planet people press for this instead of imposing misery on the worlds poorest - whilst jet setting round the world and saying - I have paid for my sins.
Forgive me Father does not get anywhere near the laughable insincerity of these - no words to illustrate these amoral folk
Yeah..it is certainly a battle......take Brazil, for one step forward you could argue there are five steps back
Now..who was hoping of getting a trade deal with Brazil for fruit and veg ......

LO,
You've got a memory like an Elephants . Good to see you're finally making sound deductions .
ATB
Poker
Then lets get out whilst we can - cos the future is bright but dim - (Harry Enfield) - and unless we do we have just the candles at night and no more - JC it is the poor who must suffer as is the message from the green little girl crossing the Atlantic - the majority have to bear the pain cos the Eltons of this world think they can pay their way out of if - is that shxx or sxxt.
We all know the minority corrupts and will not stop. get real save the planeters!
I agree Rooster, it's complete bollix, while there's no tax on aviation fuel, cruise ships & large maritime vessels running on heavy oil tax free & chinks spewing out pollution like there's no tomorrow me & u recycling our baked bean cans weekly is like ****ing in the wind. Its alright the politicians telling us what to do but they need to get their arses into gear & address the real issues.

What a depressing post .....you should watch the behaviour of ants....each one achieves little but collectively they amazingly achieve an awful lot ...
Remember those famous words " where there is a will, there is a way ".
Am I the only one here that realises we can do virtually nothing about the environment and the sustainability of life on this planet.I do my bit to behave responsibly and leave a place better than I have found it.The fact you are born makes you a liability for the future of the Earth. That simply means all the chit chat is a waste of time and will end in failure. So what do I do ? SFA thats what I do, if you want to correct the errors of mankind annihilate the worlds population.
Radical, horrendous and stupid but the only genuine solution if you truly believe the forth coming generations will be as inadequate in the way they live and as devoid of problem solving ideas as us.Enough of this talk and concern yourselves about things that are wrong that can be changed.
Remember those famous words " party tonight for tomorrow we die".
Sorry Oxo,try this one http://www.hydroquebec.com/data/documents-donnees/pdf/comparison-electricity-prices.pdf
Snige where did I criticise hydro? It's fact UK electricity costs double Vs the states a lot if that us down to the inefficiency of renewals. That represents a poll tax on the pooresy in society to pay land owners for inefficient windmills and solar panels.
Boomer, here is the research you should have done http://www.hydroquebec.com/data/documents-donnees/pdf/comparison-electricity-prices.pdf.
As you can see Montreal has one of the lowest rates for residential at 7 cents (CAN) per unit.Their electricity is nearly 100% renewable and Canada as a whole it's 68% hydro and building more.
" our electricity costs far more than in the USA"
with respect BB , I would do some research on that one...you might be suprised.... there are many US States where the cost is much higher
LO I know what poker was saying, I think he is probably aware of Newton's laws, hes one of the many bright posters on here that make it an interesting board.
