Anapa, IAG lost €1.3b in Q3, that is inclusive of Cargo. Revenue may be slightly up but they’re a long way from being profitable. €1.3bn divided by 13 will give you rough weekly loss for Q3
Cash burn rate has to be well below 178m, I think it would be half of 178m. IAG is making money incargo. Plus it has made good money around July-Aug time.
If you want to average down then I think current level below 110p is the right price to average down. But always dyor
Agreed George_Wright, will be an interesting but sobbering read!!
George,
Read my previous post....I explained it y'day
The results won't be worse than what was stated on the RNS, they will just provide further detail and insight to what the current trading picture is. I think splitting a purchase is sensible to hedge your bets. Anymore news with purchasing Air Europa? Is that deal still on the table? Anyone know?
If it cracks 110p today/monday, I will try to buy some more around 112p or above.
Or I may buy some around 105p-101p
Saying that, I have taken some profit at 108.5p
George,
We could be entering into new trading range soon. Just need to crack 110p.
My wishful thinking is....
Crack/close aboce 110p today/monday.
March to 130 - Tuesday to Thursday.
New trading range 130-145 after results on Friday....
Consolidate around 150p for a while....maybe trade in 130-150p range until end Nov.
December/Christmas....rise to 177-200p.
Just wishful thinking....so dyor
Took 108.3.
Roll on next week and upwards.
Have a great weekend guys.
Always hard to know George_Wright the best time to buy, personally I topped up again this morning, was hoping to get under a quid but bought a further batch at 106. Either way with the results on the 30th everyone knows it won't be great news, I think a lot of that is already priced in, so my own feel was to get in before then, of course I could be wrong. In any case, holding long term here, so not fussed as they will be moving onwards and upwards to a new trading range.
US market looks not great today, agree with Robbyw.
@G_W
Watching this carefully this afternoon.
May have to take a tad less, but would rather have the cash from this tranche in case of any dips.
@G_W
I placed a sell order in this morning at just under 110p...
.....not today perhaps!!
104p won the first leg!
Inevitable I suppose, it wasn't really going anywhere!
Back up soon I hope....
... through 106p this time!!
Needs another hamster on the wheel to get this moving today.
Unusually flat.
104 or 108 next?
The whole market is going up but IAG is not I think due the day traders and they think this is going down and selling as usual circle, that's why it is flat in balance now, but once they have realise today market is good then will break it.
I can't see this hovering around 106p'ish today.
Hopefully up when the US markets open....
.... rather than back down!!
109-110p would be nice to finish the week on.
I think that investors are turned to Banking sector this morning but they will travel later after taking profit from banking etc...
Thanks for that - the graph/chart on here was showing £1.12 top yesterday so I think it may be at the end of the day that we get there again. I'm surprised given the news in the paper today about the vaccine working that everything seems to be a bit muted, but I've noticed the volume is down quite a bit on here so far this morning.
As per my trendline channel, it points to 112.5-113p as upper target of current trendline.
I may be wrong, so dyor
