Thanks for the links StarKnight. We can all register to donate and we don't have to be dead to help! Organ donation is far more invasive. You can register with a really simple swab test. Painless as well- no need to stick anything up your nose, it's just a swab of the inside of your cheeks. It would be like hitting the jackpot if you were a match and who knows, anyone of us might benefit in the future whilst we wait for Hemo
Hey JustHereForHemo
Yes that would truly be hitting the jackpot saving this little girls life so by registering to donate blood stem cells is one way of helping her and other unfortunate people to live.
The email I sent to Vlad at Hemogenyx in my original post is asking him whether the CDX Antibodies which we are developing which use the blood from the patient that needs the bone marrow transplant can be used to save this girls life as if you watch the videos on Hemogenyx then the CDX Anitbodies will use Liya Gumusoz own blood which is already a match to her own blood as it is her own blood so she would not then need to find a donor therefore saving her life. Hemogenyx CDX Anitbodies is exactly what she needs to save trying to find a donor.
The only problem I can see is that our CDX Anitbodies has not gone to market yet so I have emailed Vlad at Hemogenyx as in my original post to see if there is any way he can uses our pioneering treatment to save this young girls life who only has 4 weeks to live
Sorry posted before I finished..
You are right and and anyone who is willing to donate
blood stem cells must register...... Let's hope this
child finds a match...!
Hi Starknight..
I thought the poster was suggesting on a broader level that we should
join the donor register to save lives...not specifically blood stem cells..
which is as you say is a completely different matter!
Hey Manifesto
This is not about organ donations this girl needs blood stem cells that match hers donating I’ve reposted my original post which I emailed to Vlad to see if our CDX Anitbodies can be used to save this girls life there is a link to donate blood at DKMS

Liya Gumusoz ACUTE MYELOID LEUKAEMIASat 19:04
Hi all
Very sad news on Sky News today I have just emailed Vlad as follows :-
Dear Vladik
I am glad to see the link to our share price is fixed.
This sad news article is on SKY news today Saturday 4th July 2020 concerning a 1 year old girl Liya Gumusoz who has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and has only 1 month to find a stem cell donor or she will die.
I do not have any links to her but just as a humane citizen and a shareholder in Hemogenyx I was wondering if there was a possibility you could help her fight this evil cancer with our CDX-Antibodies ? I know our treatment
has not gone to market as yet but as a special life saving treatment could authority be given to give her our treatment at her parents’ wishes ?
According to the news she has been transferred to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
At the bottom of the Sky News page is a link to contact the DKMS where her parents / Doctors can presumably be contacted.

I hope to hear from you soon

That's regards to organ donation, bone marrow donation NEEDS you to register so you can be matched against the patients who need it. You might feel good Monday if you multi bag and make a few grand. How would you feel hitting the jackpot and matching with this girl and saving the life of a very young child?
https://www.bbmr.co.uk/joining-the-register/
Hey JSP123
Yes that is another means of helping her to live and all the other people at deaths door too
JSP123 ...We are all donors now....rules have changed..you have to
sign forms to opt out if you do not want to donate your organs
otherwise you have consented!
Can I also suggest that those that haven't already done so joint the donor register in the mean time.
Hey Taverham
Yes I think we should pass a similar law of right to try here as why shouldn’t you be able to try to save a life if all else has failed. If you have a routine surgery here you have to sign to accept risk of death if surgery goes wrong so it’s just another risk which you should have a right to try in my opinion. I wish her well too
Trump passed a 'right to try act' in america but I do not think such legislation exists here sadly . In the circumstances I think her parents may need to look overseas and I wish them all the very best of luck.
Very thoughtful thing to do. Hope something can be done.
