im so excited
maybe news tomorrow !!
@sdg1970, might have been you that suggested that play.
Somebody also suggested getting rich slowly..
I got sucked into buying more on Tai2, and put most of my original investment cash back in, only just stayed positive..
Friday I de-risked my ADV holding, I have a feeling its going to be a good drill and I will be thinking I should have left more on the table :)
After seeing that 28% rise here, possibly on that Qatar tweet, a topic already mentioned here in December I think we will all have a second chance to do well as there still appears to be plenty of excitement
@DAI - played it like that several times in the 1st round, sold out back in August as I recall when it tanked for a small take. Will likely get back on board next week (ish) for the next round.
Here is an idea for newbies like myself...
The Free Ride, decide how many shares you want to risk on the results, estimate what you think will be a very likely sp before results. Then buy enough shares to generate enough profit to return your initial investment and leave your desired shares invested.. Then buy early enough for that to happen, if everything goes better than expected you can take some profit or leave more for the results... learnt that from guys here... the real hard part is selling what you planned..
Take care Daven66. I hope your instincts prove correct on this one. But please be much much more careful to protect yourself and loved ones’ financial future.
Quite sure with DM fingering new pies, this will be sold soon. , hopefully at a premium, hence recent rise. No inside info, but instinct.

Bed’ n’isa, they call it. But pretty sure they have sell and buy back inside the new wrapper. A good platform should make it as painless as possible but no one can account for unpredictable market movements. Make sure that you’ve not already used your isa though.
Sorry if granny being taught to suck oval 3D items.
Good luck to all who don’t deceive, deliberately.

dixywrecked,
"If you haven't done this already put them in a share ISA."
Just a note of interest, I don`t think it`s possible to transfer shares you already have into an ISA. If you are invested in a GIA you may have to sell up and re-buy into a share ISA if you want to transfer funds. Or just keep the GIA shares and start buying new into an ISA, that`s what i did.
Helium One got me interested in trading , but then i made many mistakes. I only have this share, I just got sucked in and kept buying on dips. Now everything i have is on one stock, it`s nuts I know with such a risky investment. Only smart thing i did was use an ISA to buy most.
I`ve followed this forum for a while and decided to join as this is going to be an exciting year one way or another. GLA
dixywrecked,
If you haven't done this already put them in a share ISA.
Im not a patient person and I rarely buy at the bottom with other shares. this seems an obvious double up at least just on the drill regardless if they strike helium or not so im happy to hold here. Was in and out a little last year but im holding this time round in anticipation
Good work on Helium1 - is is a great speculative investment and you have a great entry price. I have great hopes that it will prove out and move 10 fold or more from current price over next 12 months. That could happen. It could also go to zero but to me that seems a lot less likely and therein lies the beauty of a speculative stock.
But if you are losing on everything else you might want to diversify a bit. It has been very hard not to make money in stocks during the last 18 months. It would have been hard to consciously avoid all winners. Now that is changing right now as market breadth narrowing. We all have to be careful out there, as they used to say on Hill Street Blues.

Spot on,
He1 with the licences they hold in the Rukwa, Balangida and Eyasi valley's could be sat on a gold mine ( sorry helium mine) to a multi national looking for greener credentials.
Another positive topic for shareholders to debate.
dixywrecked,
You have a first class ticket, hold onto it and good luck.
my average is 6.87 i have 170,000 shares
this is the only share i am making money on
im happy
thanks
Also thanks to Noob and aussie princess. Made things clearer for
new investors like myself.
Thanks Latorre for the info, greatly appreciate it.
If we prove and appraise the resource this year, In my opinion a buyout could certainly be a possibility.

Good question,
Both Qatargas and ExxonMobil were at the Helium Super Summit .
I have shares in ExxonMobil and have a regular newsletter from them, I do know that ExxonMobil are currently looking at greener alternatives to enhance their buisness model.
They have an ongoing commitee called 'GIG' which stands for Greener Investment Groups,.
He1 are clearly a greener exploration company in search for Helium with licences already in place.
Could there be a link up or something going on between them?.
Who knows, wish I had the answer.
According to Google, Qatargas is the biggest helium producer in the Middle East.(helium as a by product of natural gas extraction). They most likely will have been introduced to David and Lorna.
Qatargas were on the speakers' list
Would I be right there in thinking both Exxonmobil and Qatar Energy were at the Helium Super Summit in Houston last year. Does anyone know if any deals were done? Thanks
