"Lansdowne meanwhile also have a man in the boardroom who keeps them bang up to date and tells them stuff, and he's called GarretSodencam who tells them the opposite and that they should buy 15.5% of the Company or 32.5 million shares."
LMAO!!!! SS you're such an amateur!!
Hope this helps R2R...LOL
What Is Internet Trolling?
In simple terms, trolling is when someone comments or responds to something you post, usually in a confrontational way that is designed to garner a strong, emotional reaction. Although many people use the term in contexts where a sense of humor is appreciated, the truth is that internet trolling can get pretty nasty and isn't always a laughing matter.
The Urban Dictionary has a bunch of definitions under the term “trolling,” but the first one that pops up seems to define it as simply as possible. So, according to the Urban Dictionary’s top-rated definition for “trolling,” it can be defined as:
"the deliberate act, (by a Troll – noun or adjective), of making random unsolicited and/or controversial comments on various internet forums with the intent to provoke an emotional knee jerk reaction from unsuspecting readers to engage in a fight or argument."
Wikipedia defines it as:
"a person who starts quarrels or upsets people on the Internet to distract and sow discord by posting inflammatory and digressive, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses and normalizing tangential discussion, whether for the troll's amusement or a specific gain.”
Those who aren’t quite as familiar with the internet slang definition of “troll” or “trolling” might automatically think of the mythical creature from Scandinavian folklore. The mythological troll is known to be an ugly, dirty, angry creature that lives in dark places, like caves or underneath bridges, waiting to snatch up anything that passed by for a quick meal.
Well said G . Its been quite an emotional rollercoaster for us LT holders on here. But it sounds like we are going to get one last bite at the cherry if that story about the Oil & Gas Law about to be passed - happens.
GLA
Who are the trolls? Genuine question. I haven’t seen a single person on this board who thinks GKP isn’t substantially under valued?
I’m on here to make money. As is everyone, but I like to use these boards to share my knowledge, try to learn and try to post what I know. I’m also happy to correct people who may not have time or means to produce models or fully understand the make up of oil and gas contracts / PSC’s etc.
I don’t understand the agro from so many on here, everyone thinks this share is going to go up, including me! So why are people claiming there are people with agendas / trolls etc?
To quote one of my favourite films.Predator. We are all Dug in like Alabama Ticks. Gonna be difficult to shift us. GL
Held through think and thin.....
And will keep holding onto mine until boom or bust..... no matter how many times I’m told by the ‘experts’ on here that true value is only £2.50/£3!!
and that's why my shares in GKP will ONLY ever go to the Company / Entity that buys them from me - as part of a formal take-over etc.
Spot on FH1 , thats exactly what happened. retail ended up by accident , with the lions share in what turned out to be one of the largest onshore finds in Kurdistan if not elsewhere. The City did not like that. Then we have the trolls telling us all we are doomed and the II's buying every share they can get their hands on.
Yet some on here still cant see it. Well good luck with that . TK warned us about the expected city "games a long time ago.
Surrey. Yes it’s fascinating how the IIs are holding and keep buying. From their perspective GKP is an accident. The accident is that Retail ended up with one of largest onshore discoveries in recent years. It’s been a long play to grasp control and has required persistent bashing to shake holders out. The whole bond equity swap sealed the deal and IIs are in driving seat. The next step will be to cash in. That’s always been the plan and explains why KRG stripped GKP of the spare fields. GKP is a single big field play because it is positioned for a sale but at the right time. Kozel said in the end there will be little retail left. He was right. But the hardcore will stay to the end. Post COVID with rapidly rising POO and normalcy in US foreign policy is likely to be that time.
Surrey that’s very funny. I find the trolls motivate me to buy more and hold even tighter. It’s weird, if there were no trolls then I may have sold a few years ago. They have kept me going through the dark times. Totally the opposite effect. The more they troll the more I believe am on a winner.
It's the same Broadford Bay...
As I recall, for some reason or another I was unable to incorporate the space.
I use no other avatars on these public boards.
Is Broadfordbay on here related to Broadford bay ( note the space ) on ADVFN ? ..... or is it just his way of avoiding getting all mixed up and confusing himself ??
And does it matter a hoot either way !
A question from FlyingHorse on LSE - "Why the Derampers?"
"GKP has been plagued by bashers for years now. I would be interested in hearing theories from LTH’s why this bashing is so prevalent. Is it because there is a group of writers being paid to drive negative sentiment? If so what is the purpose? Who would pay for this bashing and why?"
Uncle Tony claims that he has access to and meetings with a Director or Directors who tell him stuff and keep him bang up to date and he calls this source goatcam.
Why would any Director give the time of day to an individual like Uncle Tony unless like Jeremy Asher they were using him as a useful idiot.
He and his acolytes then come on this and other public bulletin boards full of doom and gloom telling us that Shaikan is riddled with problems and is a basket case, a month ago he said that "MOL don't want to spend another dollar in Kurdistan" and told K4N4K "I assure you I don't want any GKP shares."
Lansdowne meanwhile also have a man in the boardroom who keeps them bang up to date and tells them stuff, and he's called GarretSodencam who tells them the opposite and that they should buy 15.5% of the Company or 32.5 million shares.
Lansdowne are the biggest holders of shares in GKP.
So we have Uncle Tony and his cronies Bigdog and Broadford telling as many private investors as they can reach that GKP is a basket case at the same time as Lansdowne, Hof Hoorneman, Blackrock, UBS, Gertjan Koomen, Brightsphere and other institutions hoover up every share that gets shaken out.
I don't know how much trolls are paid but it can't be much when they live in £110k houses in Salford and need to supplement their income by cleaning up old spark plugs.
Follow the money not the trolls.
