Brilliant review, show me the money. Just imagine if Scally or Juri hit
Am just reprinting this link again to keep it right to the fore of this BB's thinking . It is my opinion that Alistair Ford has been diligently reading up on all of Bamps , Hydros , Paddys , posts ( and of course mine ) in order to produce his most excellent exposition on GGP.
Not that I have ever been in doubt, but is it not great to have someone like Alistair repeat what I believe so powerfully. And I reckon it will be worth reprinting the link every few days . Then there will be little else to debate until the next set of Glittering assay cores arrive on the scene , ( not long now ) and prove how understated Alistair Ford has been.

Sorry that was to Littlecrumbs, although TBF to both me and news the one i watched didn’t end like that.
Watched it yet again and you are correct...apologies for any unnecessary ramping.
Timeserved are you really that bitter that you post absolute boll0x after selling out at 3p.
Come back with some evidence and you might just get a proper discussion. Until then Butt out of things you clearly have no knowledge about.
Look forward to your calculations News . ASAP please
Yes a good win for GB , maybe we should have a GB football team so that we could also win and not have to wait 55 years.
@@@ Chester - ...100% in support .
What I do not understand is why so much chinwag can go on , on such an unimportant subject as GGP , when The Great Britain and Ireland Lions are playing the Springboks. A brilliant win for the lads.
Time to get your priorities right.

Good stuff. Thanks. LoL, you caught the part about the cut-off.
As for execution risk, that is a NORM for any pre-production project & all it means in general is risk in executing the project. I already mentioned it in my earlier post re: Alastair Ford*s comment.
It would appear also that the City has been talking about Havieron and the possible size a/c to Alastair Ford. Any one got wind of that? The SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS of the size by Sprott was pretty good. I recall I did the lowest possible from this said chart to which one poster told me: "If you say so."
Hence, why I returned after all these years as the preliminary size is already known officially and also in the works. I will do the cals again given the grades have exceeded expectations.
Then, the Havieron grades [1-9] EXCEEDED the nearology & now proven to be even more.
All good. Happy journey to all Greatlanders.

Today is Sat, so I had a bit more time to ponder from the past relating to this forum & how events have changed. I laugh now
Apologies for coming back to this, I just rewatched - She did introduce it as Copper gold not gold copper
He did actually say Execution risk...that was at around 5.45. he then spoke about opportunity
Then he was cut off at the end when he was about to say what he thought it might be worth,if the gold came out of the ground and revenues started to come in.
Worth watching again IMO I thought he was fairly bullish
Newcrest's commitment to mine Havieron cannot be in doubt, why else would they give the green light to develop the Portal and Decline.
To begin the Decline means that they have a good grasp of what the PSF is going to look like, obviously they will have contingency planning as they descend deeper.
The cost of closing or moth balling Telfer would be a real blow to the whole company wide strategy if you take into account Cadia and Lahir.
Havieron is a fantastic prize for Newcrest and Sandeep's status as a solid CEO, it also cements Telfer while other possible prospects are developed in an area that could be gold mine central in 10 / 15 years.
So as long as there is not a meltdown of the world economy or a direct meteor strike at Havieron the mine "IS" going ahead.
As an analyst it has to be seen that all potential risks are being weighed even if he really believes that it's dead certainty.
Chester.
Hi News,
on the disconnect he did say’ well its worth around 750 million already, that was followed by , the getting bigger bit and then will they mine. I called it execution risk so that misled. Agree on the opportunity bit. BTW i am very invested but i also like to see all the points mentioned rather than the caveats being missed,
Thanks
TomE TimberTrader Mickey1122 in order of posting on this thread.
I have been reading GGP in Twitter as its not as busy. I do read this forum from time to time but its so busy its hard to keep up.
I have NOT posted on this forum for a long time - there were 2 camps.
Now, its time to post a finale to the Havieron story as there is NO more 2 camps but one given the results establishes the DISCOVERY.
Thanks again.

Oh, as I said, some maths has to be done [re-iterate].
Canary3
I had a quick listen to a bit in the beginning and more towards the end. So, I didnt hear the part you heard which is:
1] Its already worth 750 million which is very unusual.
2. The deposit needs to get bigger that 4.2
3]There is an execution risk, will they get it out.
This is what I heard:
He said something like the City are talking about it - the idea I got was size.
As for OPPORTUNITY, he mentioned two subject matters ie how big is it and one has to take a view and 2ndly, will they mine.
When any analyst talks of OPPORTUNITY, I take it to mean "MIS-PRICING" of the asset or potential asset/deposit. It is pretty obvious that the GGP Mkt Cap is some £750m which is NOT norm given that the final % is 30%. If the deposit is large in theory, then the mkt cap has give so it is NOT surprising he said has to get larger. He also said that "Maybe ONE of the largest gold DISCOVERIES of recent decades." Hence, why he said investors have to "TAKE A VIEW."
As for "execution risk" which you heard vs what I heard: Will they mine? [2nd view]. I was a bit puzzled by this. I am NOT sure what Mr Ford meant. I thought the last article I read, the decision to mine is next at some time. Newcrest certainly has the funds to fund their part + the expertise for blockcave etc and more importantly Telfer needs the ore. So, execution risk?
I didnt catch that part in the said interview.
Sat, 24 July 2021.
I heard three things that were his caveats when the interviewer asked about the gap between current SP and the news.
1. Its already worth 750 million which is very unusual
2. the deposit needs to get bigger that 4.2
3. There is an execution risk , will they get it out.
I found it interesting the the interviewer said it was a Copper /gold play rather than a gold /copper play. briefed or slip of the tongue?
Welcome back News- it’s a good thing.
Towards the end of the Alastair Ford interview with Sarah Lowther @Proactive Investors, he said that there are opportunities [or singular] for investors :
"TAKE A VIEW" or rather 2 views given he mentioned 2 subject matters. However, the last few words I believe was CROPPED? LoL.
Why take a view? Mkt Cap is £720m+ at the 18p+ mark. Needs quite a bit of maths to be done as to the final potential of the discovery at Havieron & the implication ££*s. That*s my take on Mr Ford saying there is an opportunity - Take a view or rather 2 views, the latter of which depends on the potential mining & profit sharing etc. Quite normal for PRE-PRODUCTION PLAY cals as Havieron is NO longer a PRE-DISCOVERY PLAY like at Hole 5 Pre-Assay Results @1.15p.

News hi, link does not work ? can you repost Thanks.
Thanks again to Alastair Ford, who, yes, I agree news, is stating what you believe, and many of us do too, and have for some considerable time!

An interesting interview by Proactive Investors with Alastair Ford, Mining Analyst with what others are saying about GGP*s Havieron, Newcrest decline, grades , most importantly the opportunity for investors as to what Havieron MAY hold and what*s next.
How times has flown from HOLE 5 Pre-Assay Results at Havieron which was an indication of more to come. The rest is history but befitting to record early investors and their take [2 camps] vs actual todate which was so well documented and summarised by Alistair Ford with thanks.
